The villa has recently been refurbished with a new, fully equipped, open plan, kitchen, large lounge/dining area with cable TV which opens out onto a large terrace, with private boat mooring and views towards the hills and sea.
Downstairs also includes a cloakroom and washing machine.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with en-suite, the master bedroom opens out onto the upstairs terrace with uninterrupted views across the bay.
The second bedroom has two queen size beds

Jolly Harbour is a 500 acre, gated community, with white sandy beaches and warm waters, located on the western coast of Antigua.
It is home to the Caribbean's largest marina whose facilities include an 18 hole golf course, water sports, 25m pool, tennis courts, squash court and a fully equipped gym. Within the complex there is an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants including a comprehensive supermarket and banking facilities. Jolly Harbour offers a good position to visit the rest of the 365 beaches on the island by car, bus or boat.
There are also many excursions available from the resort as well as the opportunity to charter boats.

We had a wonderful time on the island as a whole but this apartment was a let down and I could honestly say that I would not recommend it to anyone. The stench coming from the wall below the air con was awful . We were then told by The agent that this was going to be rectified once our stay of three weeks, was going to be fixed, we were also informed that the owners had told us about this (which was a lie) and we were okay with the state of the wall. On arrival home we informed the owner of our complaints as we felt it was not up to the agency to sort it for them when we stayed in his apartment, as we had booked it directly from them and not through TT. We have had nothing but abuse and they have even tried to say that we had made the situation worse by not informing TT which we find very detrimental. The owner has not showing any remorse towards us told us we had no right to changing a light bulb when it went out at 11 o clock at night as we should have called the agent TT. I can honestly say that if we had been anyone else we would have been within our rights to ask for a full refund we asked for a token gesture to be given by themselves and was basically told to not trouble them and it was our own fault. I could recommend others on Jolly Harbour to book through TT but not this one as the owners only care about getting there money and not how you experience your stay in there apartment. And if by any chance you complain about anything to them they will wriggle there way out of taking any resposability

We stayed in Jolly Harbour for 2 weeks in Feb 2013 with my elderly mother. The villa was well equipped and very clean. We all enjoyed our stay and found the golf cart a must to get around the harbour area. Jolly Harbour has all the services you need to have a great holiday (beaches, grocery store, liquour store, shops, restaurants, car rental and even a golf course). Make sure you take your own lap top, we didn't and the internet cafe was closed until further notice, so was a disappointment. I'm sure we will return in the future. Thanks to amy and Margot for their great service.

The villa is in a quiet location on the north finger. It is modern, well equiped (good gas BBQ and quality patio furniture), very comfortable and clean. A golf cart or hire car is essential for travelling to and from the south finger (for restaurants, beach, swimming pool and supermarket).
The agents, Typically Tropical, provide a very professional service including looking after you once you have vacated the villa on your day of departure.

Agreed it is very peaceful location and so close to the beautiful North Beach...we also agree a cart or a car is essential for supermarket shopping or exploring Jolly Harbour ( and they are such fun ).

Very quiete location whith all you need for cooking you have north beach so beatiful near the only think you need golf cart for move to the supmarket end south beach the rest is all right

Visited this villa during the first week of December. The other reviews will confirm that Jolly Harbour is a clean, safe and enjoyable place to visit for rest and relaxation. The villa itself is one of many available for short term rentals. We chose this villa based on price and reviews. We were not disapointed. The villa was clean and well appointed. The agent, Typically Tropical was professional and involved in their business.
Congratulations to them for understanding the concept of customer service.

We looked for the sun and the sea and we found it.
The accomodation was nice, clean and very correctly furnished with the air-conditioning. The location was nice also, but a car or at least a buggy was necessary to go to the beach (there is one near but it's less nicer that the further one)and to get groceries. I would have loved to rent directly on the beach but it's might be for an another time:-)
I have nothing bad to say. Every thing was as expexted. The owners were nice, the people who manage were nice and attentive to our needs. Just great for the price we wanted to spend. Thanks.Response from Typically Tropical Villas - 08/29/2012

Met by very good agents who made us feel welcome and were very helpful. During our stay major reinovations were taking place next door and if we had been at the property during the day it would have been very noicy and extremely dusty. The downstairs area were generally good, however the cistern was missing from the downstairs toilet. Upstairs the bathrooms needed upgrading and maintenance. Little things were annoying like only one cushion between 2 loungers. We managed to walk to the main facilities when we first arrived however be prepared for a 40 minute walk to the main part of Jolly Harbour and the nearest supermarket..

In regards to the property, the owners (who took your reservation) have been made very aware of the major renovations on the property next door, which yes we agree would not have been ideal had you spent most of your day at the property.
The owners are also aware of the issue with the downstairs toilet that they wish to take care of themselves when they arrive on island in April.
The villa is quite a distance from the main commercial area, which is why we always recommend the hire of a golf cart to enable the distance to be covered much easier.
Aside from the issues you had with the villa, I believe you had a fantastic vacation and the wedding at Coco Bay Resort was amazing.
We hope you return to holiday with us in the future.

28th August 2012... Since this review the owners have been to there property and have had some refurbishment done...the masterbathroom
has new corian counter top, with two seperate sinks.
Master bedroom gallery has chase lounge and relaxing chair and foot stool.
New bedding for both bedrooms, new standard lamp for the dining room table, wi fi installed, and the downstairs half bathroom is now in full working order. -

We spent a relaxing seven days at house 431c. We were met at the house by the Totally Tropical rep and she explained how everthing worked and where to eat etc. The house is set up really nicely with everthing to a high standard. The only thing we found to be lacking would be a small safe but saying that we managed. I found the washing machine and tumble dryer useful as we had already been vacationing on antigua for the previous ten days so I was able to rinse through our beach towels and freshen them up. In all we had a very comfortable stay at the villa. You definately need a car or a golf cart or a bycicle to get around Jolly Harbour as the amenities are rather a long walk from the villa but the north beach is very close. Lovely villa and a lovely holiday.
