Quail Crossing is our fabulous vacation home in Joshua Tree. Tucked away in the Bartlett Mountains and worlds away from the busy life and bright lights of the city - it is truly a place where peace can be found. This open and spacious 3 bedroom/3 bath home sits on 5 undisturbed acres, which border endless miles of pristine protected BLM (Bureau of Land Mgmt) land. You can hikes for miles just heading out our front door!

Our house is the last house on a dead-end road in the village of Joshua Tree. We have 5 acres of gorgeous, undeveloped Sonoran Dessert but even hundreds more unspoilt, stunning acres as our house abuts BLM land on 2 sides. We have wonderful neighbors but they are many acres away (our neighbors drive to visit us!). The views and land will take your breath away. The 'sound' of pure silence will relax you completely, especially those of us who are city-dwellers. We are so secluded that at night there is no light interference and you will see millions of stars, including the entire Milky Way!!!

We have rented Quail Crossing many times - each time we go it gets better and better. The house is perfectly set up for kids - and is large enough to accommodate two families of 4 with the kids sharing the bunk bed kids room. Our last visit was over Thanksgiving - which for me means lots of cooking - even though this is a rental property the kitchen is well stocked with equipment.
The cute cowboy hats that were left for the kids were put to good use - especially when we went on long hikes into the desert. Joshua Tree National Park is a short drive from the house and filled with great hikes and this visit we discovered some really fun hikes right out from the back of the property.
The birdseed provided hours of fun and when we left I'm sure the birds were twice as big as when we arrived.
All the bedrooms are really comfortable - the spa bath is especially nice for Mommies after a long day!
We love the privacy Quail Crossing offers - it really is silent at night and the most perfect time was spent star gazing and making wishes on shooting stars.
We can't wait to get back out to the desert and to stay at Quail Crossing once more.
