We stayed 12 nights in this apartment in September 2012 and we could have not asked for more. The resort is nice, clean (even the garbage chute), kids friendly and the grounds are indeed very well manicured.
The apartment was perfect for our family of 4, the kitchen was very well equipped and we did not miss a thing. Having washer and dryer in the apartment was definitely a plus.
Dealing with the Kaanapali Beach Properties staff was always a pleasure, they quickly answered all our questions and we had a hassle free check in and stay.
I recommend the use of the Expedia office in the lobby, we even bought the aquarium tickets from them and we got a discount.
If we are coming back to Maui for sure we would sty in Kaanapali Shores 943 again.

We stayed at this unit for 7 nights and had the best vacation ever for our family. With two little ones of 3 and 7 years old, I wanted safe, and clean apartment with a good kitchen, and this unit had everything. In-unit washer-dryer was very convenient. They even have sand play set in the unit. The only complaint is that the basin is too high.
We might come back here when we return to Maui.
