My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at this condo. The beautiful condo and view were even better than the pictures and description. We loved sitting out on the lanai eating meals and enjoying the view. The condo was in pristine condition. It was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies you could possibly need. The owners even provided beach towels and supplies. We would definitely stay here again.

Honua Kai has everything you will need or want for a short stay or an extended stay. The property is exceptional and the staff very courteous. The pools are resort like, with pool service from the amazing Duke's restaurant. The units are beautiful, with washers/dryers and most with an ocean view. We are returning next summer and have absolutely no reason to look any where else.

The unit was lovely; spotlessly clean and included many little extras such as beach gear and martini shaker/glasses. Check-in with amy from Kaanapali Beach Resorts was pleasant and professional. We didn't need to contact the agency again during our stay because there were no concerns. The only disadvantage with the resort is the lack of a shuttle service to Whaler's Village and Lahaina. The bus service is very limited and often it is too hot to stand around waiting for it. A taxi into Lahaina cost us $22-24 dollars each way so it added nearly $50 to going for a meal out, if we wanted to have a glass of wine with dinner. This would definitely be a big consideration if we were to bring the family on our next trip. I understand that at one stage this resort was having financial difficulties so I think it is very short-sighted of the management not to provide such a service - not free, but at a reasonable rate. I did mention this to a lady on the activities desk at the resort but she didn't seem to think it was an issue. However, having spoken to some other people vacationing at the resort, they felt the same way that we did. Apart from that, we loved the resort.
