The upgraded interior is far superior to another condo that had no upgrades (where friends stayed). Fabulous view, everything you need for cooking; even beach chairs and boogie board for the beach! The only issue we had was out of owner's control, which were repairs to the lanais. We did have access to the lanai during our stay, just no furniture, and had to close the glass doors during the day when workers were sand-blasting (though we didn't spend much time in the condo during working hours.) We would definitely rent this condo again.

This apartment was perfect for us. It had everything we needed inside for kitchen and living needs. The view from the lanai was picture postcard - palm trees, ocean, beach, sunset, full moon on the ocean, sunrise, whale and turtle watching. Close to several other beaches and towns. Local stores for everyday needs were within walking distance. Very clean, cozy and livable. Very quiet. Nice pool and beach front for swimming. Could snorkle right out front off the beach. Adding a small security safe would be a great amenity.

Spectacular view from the Lanai overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Loved having breakfast on the lanai and watching the whales and sea turtles. This one bedroom unit came well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. We did a lot of touring on the island of Maui and did not get the chance to enjoy the amenities that Valley Isle has to offer. My husband and I like to exercise, but unfortunately the health club was not in operation due to a recent fire. Hope it gets rebuilt.

This is an excellent place for a Maui vacation. The unit is modern and very clean. The owners were very helpful in completing the reservation. Although there's not a lot happening in Kahana, the resort is close to the highway to Lahaina and is just a few minutes from Kapalua. We will definitely try to stay there again.

They are not quite done with repairs to one wing of the complex yet. But they never bothered us with noise. Elevator is the fastest in the nation;) It was nice to never have much of a wait. Saw turtles from the balcony every day. Ate breakfast on the balcony every day. A little warm for us alaskans to sleeep in but there was a breeze 85% of the time that cut the heat a bit. A well laid out and decorated unit. The 6th floor is the best imho being that you always see the palms dancing in the breeze, great sunsets, and a calm breeze. Thank you Gary

The condo was amazing. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Beautiful and tastefully decorated and has a gorgeous view of the ocean. We spent mornings on the beach and saw sea turtles. We spent evenings watching the sunset. I don't think there's a better view anywhere! During the day we explored. The location was great for restaurants and shopping. We went to the Lahaina Luau and had a blast. We loved it. Mahalo Gary and Geri! Your island paradise is wonderful.

Just returned from two weeks in this unit.. The origial plan was to stay a week and move to a 5 star resort. This unit was such a fantastic value with million dollar views, we cancelled our second week at the resort and stayed anothre week... Cant say enought about the condition and cleanliness of this condo. Book it... you wont be disapointed.. Oh yeah, just booked next year the day we got home!

This was our second stay at this condo. We love this place - centrally located between Lahaina and the Napili/Kapalua area. It has an zmazing ocean front view, is remodeled and very comfortable. The complex was clean and well maintained and the gas Bbqs were high-end and spotless. We've enjoyed watching the whales, rainbows and moonbows from our Lanai. Every morning we'd have our homemade breakfast on the Lanai, pack a lunch and head to a different snorking or swimming spot, and then back to the condo for a shower and a nice BBQ dinner. We Bbq'd something different every night. The place is super quiet too - no young kids running amok, the pool is calm and no loud parties going on. The elevators were super quick - we'd never have to wait and there are carts for taking your luggage and groceries up to your condo. We typically load up on water, milk, beer and wine at Costco and then do the daily shopping at either Safeway in Lahaina or Times in Ka'anapli. The condo has sand chairs, boogie boards and a cooler for taking your lunch to the beach. The ensuite washer and dryer is a must have and we used it every day. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need. We can't wait to return - you'll love this place.

We had a wonderful time staying in 605. We have already made reservations for next February. We wanted to add whales to our rainbows, sunsets and turtles that we could see from the lanai.
We felt very comfortable here. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Having a washer and dryer made packing very easy.

Enjoyed very much our five day stay in Kahana. This unit is extremely well supplied with almost everything needed to cook. The view of the ocean and beach are beautiful. Seen whales breaching, but they were out quite a ways-- sure wish that we had brought our binoculars. Also, saw turtles right out front of our condo. Overall, we had a great short stay--wish it were longer.

We've rented Valley Isle (Maui) unit 605 (one bedroom) two years in a row, now, and I can absolutely say the unit is fantastic. The view is unparalleled and the lanai does not get the hot direct afternoon sun, so it's a comfortable sitting area all the live long day. We were able to see whales afar and turtles feeding at the shore just by sitting on our lanai. We're already booked again for next year! It's very comfortable, modern and updated, has good technology, a fabulous kitchen, and a full-sized washer and dryer right inside the unit - bonus! Gary and Jeri, the owners, are extremely easy to work with. I truly have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experiences! It now feels like our home in Maui.

The Skardina's condo - #605 - is a beautifully remodeled unit with fabulous views of the ocean, Molokai and Lanai. We have stayed at Valley Isle Resort many times and this unit was one of the better ones. The Skardina's were prompt in replying to e-mails and we rec'd the keys within days of our last payment. Great service! We are planning to return to Valley Isle Resort next Christmas and will check on the availability of #605 when we have our dates down. Thank you for a week in paradise!

The owners were easy to work with. The condo was clean and very nice, and it was quiet. It had everything I needed. It's right on the beach, and the view off the lanai is gorgeous. It was wonderful and convenient to have a washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were nice and soft ... the only thing I recommend is larger sheets (it was queen on a king). The bedroom is rather light at night due to lights from the walkway, so if that sort of thing bothers you, bring a sleep mask. I would stay in this condo again.

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay! Remodeled condo, beautiful kitchen. Comfy and gorgeous Hawaiian decor. Tile flooring goes all the way out to the balcony. Spent lots of time on the balcony staring at the ocean. Several times saw turtles and a couple rays close to the shore. Did lots of boogie boarding and walking on the beach. The location is perfect, not too close to town (Lahaina) & not too far. Walking distance to Maui Brewery. Perfect for our party of four. Was a pleasure to work with Gary. We hope to stay here again!

We stayed in unit #605 Memorial Week. It provided us with everything we had hoped. Breakfast on the lanai was my personal favorite time of the day. I would recommend this unit to anyone! When we return to Maui we will surely consider staying again in this unit.

My daughter and I have talked for years about making a trip to Hawaii before she gets married. Her wedding is this coming fall, so we decided to make our dream a reality! I can't say enough good things about our stay at the Valley Isle Resort in condo #605.
First of all, the decor is very tasteful with a classy Hawaiian theme. It is fun to read the guestbook that was started when the current owners first acquired the condo and read about the total remodel as well as their updates when they have visited in-between all of the other guests.
The bedroom has a king bed and the living room has a queen murphy bed, so my daughter and I were each able to have our own space. We loved being able to have our fresh fruit and bagels for breakfast on the lanai every morning and watch the sunset from the beach or lanai every evening. I miss the sound of the surf swishing in and out!
I was a bit worried about being too hot in Hawaii, but even though midday temperatures averaged in the mid-eighties, it was always comfortable outdoors and in, even without a/C. All you had to do was open the front door and the lanai door and you would get a wonderful breeze that kept everything cool, but not artificially so like a/C does. Bless those trade-winds!
The grounds keepers and cleaning crew kept the place immaculate as well. I was amazed at how quickly the palm tree debris from the trade-winds was cleaned up every morning! It was as if they vacuumed the grounds!
We enjoyed the friendly turtle that swims off the shore right in front of the condo. We could see him pop up for air from the lanai and actually swam with him a couple of times. We got a chuckle every time someone squealed when they saw him for the first time. He was very social!
Gary, the owner, is very easy to work with and even graciously accommodated an early check-in for us as there were no guests in the condo on the day we arrived. Thank you, Gary! I do hope it isn't too long before we can return! -

We were in Valley Isle #605 for 10 days beginning 2-2-11. We have have stayed in other units there and found unit 605 to be very clean and comfortable. We really liked the tile floor and it was much cleaner than the last unit. The view is amazing and they have everything and more that you could want in a kitchen. It is very quiet and relaxing and I felt at home in this unit. We had a wonderful time.

The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We liked having the washer and dryer available. The lanai had a great view. It got a little warm though when if one of us took a shower while we were drying clothes since there was no air conditioning. Overall we had no problem with the temperature. We simply kept the lanai screen open. Very nice!

This was our second stay in a Valley Isle Condo. When we go again, this will be our first choice. The condo kitchen and bath have been tastefully remodelled and with a Murphy Bed in the family room, the condo could easily accomodate four people. Gary was easy to work with, negotiating a late checkout as we had an 11pm flight home. Ours was a "working vacation" so the wireless internet was neccessity, but working on the laptop with waves splashing and an amazing ocean view, was a huge bonus. You can see the ocean from anywhere in the living room, kitchen or patio and hear the ocean from every room. The beauty of this building is that all patios are private, and all have a panoramic ocean view. We spotted whales almost every day -- so bring your binoculars. I love the beach, it's small and quiet; and just a short drive to some amazing snorkeling. Want to dine out? Roy's is walking distance.

My mother and I were extremely comfortable in Unit 605 and have already booked it again for next year. The unit is updated with fantastic amenities, including a washer & dryer inside the unit and a fantastic, fully equipped kitchen. The view from the lanaii is unbelievable - we saw turtles feeding late every single afternoon right on the beach! We had an overall excellent experience. It was our fifth year in a row in Maui, but our first in this unit, which we will now book every year from now on when it's available.

Condo #605 at Valley Isle, was a great base for exploring many of Maui's marvels. The condo is very well equipped and makes for very comfortable holiday living. It was lovely falling to sleep to the sounds of waves just lapping. The view and the position on the beach were terrific, though away from the restaurants and night life of Lahaina. Only niggle is that the bedroom is a bit bright for sleeping due the outside light. Would certainly recommend to others looking for high-quality accommodation at very reasonable prices

What a wonderful condo. It's so clean and comfortable. It has absolutely everything you need for your creature comforts and a view to die for!!! It's located in a very convenient location with lots of amenities. I'd recommend this to anyone with children or not. It's awesome!!!

My husband and I toured 3 different Hawaiian islands for our honeymoon this July. We stayed in hotels at our first 2 stops but had a tight budget, so we decided to rent for our last stop. We were a little nervous about finishing the trip in this way, but the room and view at 605 in Valley Isle was even nicer than all of the hotel rooms we had been in-- so much better than we could have expected!
The view is amazing. The kitchen is newly remodeled and fully equipped. The room was great, shower was nice, etc. We had high standards for our honeymoon, and this place exceeded our standards. The only reason why we did not rate it five stars is because its location wasn't 100% ideal. We were still close to all of the great beaches we wanted to see, but we didn't really spend much time on the beach outside of our building. It wasn't anything to write home about. Everything in the room, though, was perfect. We would wake up, have breakfast in the sunshine on our lanai, watch World Cup games on TV with the breeze keeping us cool, and then spend the rest of our day at the beach. This was the most beautiful location you could ever ask for of vaction condo. The condo itself was fantastic with beautiful tile floors and tiled lanai and oh and that million dollar view. It was everything we imagined from the pictures only better. Sitting on the lanai every morning watching the whales frolic in the calm warms was spectacular to say the least. The condo was so relaxing and full stocked with everything you could imagine. Also very conviently located to a local shopping area that had everything else if you needed it. What an amazing condo! We split our stay for our vacation between 605 and another condo at Valley Isle, and our time in 605 was definitely the better of the two. Everything has been remodeled and is in amazing condition.
We were literally watching whales breaching from our balcony for the entire stay!
Overall, this condo was the perfect size, had the perfect view, and all of the perfect amenities. The next time we head back to Maui, we'll definitely try to secure Valley Isle #605. -

Great condo, great location. Condo was immaculate and with all the amenities you need. We loved sitting on the balcony/lanai watching the ocean within a stones throw, best feature of the place. Generally people in the building tend to be older, which was fine with me, i.e. it wasn't party-central. Location wise it was also very good, Kapalua Bay, Kaanapali Beach and Lahaina are very close by.
We'll be back for sure! -

Nice modern condo, very clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials including some spices; we used some and left some. Very easy to find, was 30-40 min from the airport. Wireless internet was fast, TV had more than enough channels. Plenty of parking with the permit from check-in. Safeway nearby.
Dinners on the lanai at sunset overlooking the beach were perfect. Not a very active beach, so not very crowded. Nice and quiet, fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing.
Gary was easily available for phone questions. Overall great experience, highly recommended. -

This condo is great and has been recently remodeled. It is so nice to stay in a place that is clean, like new and has a well appointed kitchen. The Valley Isle Resort is low key, quiet, doesn't charge extra for parking and is located right on the beach. There is no air conditioning, but the breeze blows through and the condo is very comfortable. Partners in Paradise are easy to deal with and respond promptly.

Mahalo, Partners in Paradise. Your condo 605 is truly wonderful. From the first moment you enter the condo you can see and hear the magnificient Pacific Ocean. The lanai over-looking the beach is the most perfect spot for any meal or you can lounge out there enjoying the sun and the light breeze. I loved the tropical decor of the condo, it is very soothing. The kitchen was stocked with anything I could think of, I used the blender many times:) Loved the shower too! We had a great time at 605. Can't wait to plan another trip!!! I highly recommend this condo, don't pass it up.
