Can't wait to return. Condo exactly as described, beautiful ocean front location where we sat and watched the whales and turtles daily, so peaceful. Vikki and staff are so friendly, Mai Tai party on Wednesdays, lots of fun. Right on the beach and close driving to other great snorkelling beaches. Farmers market just down the road, close to all amenities for driving. Did see transit bus right here too but didn't try it. Incredible vacation home, want for nothing, truly can't wait to return. Pool and hot tub close to unit. Highly recommend.

I have stayed with Kahana Village for 3 visits and planning my 4th trip this year. I wish that I had discovered them many years ago. The ocean views and sound of the waves are the best I've experienced on Maui. What a jewel. The entire staff are the most warm hearted individuals and I look forward to seeing them as well as the beautiful units.Everything that we need for a comfortable stay is provided in the condo. I love the mai tai party on Wednesday. I love the turtles who visit the shore.I wish I was there right now

We loved it!! The place had it all.. Very very nice. Employees very nice and helpful. Although the pool was very small for such a nice place. The beach was quiet, no action.

My wife, two daughters and I spent 5 fantastic days & nights at beautiful Kahana Village, Maui. Our second floor 2 BR/2 Bath spacious condo was oceanfront, with beautiful views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. We had a lovely beach only steps away. My favorite part of our Maui experience was setting & relaxing, on our balcony, watching the whales play all day. The pool and grounds are beautifully maintained. Staff was wonderful by taking the time to anwser all my questions, either by phone or email.
This was a very special vacation for me, as I celebrated the completion of running a marathon, in all 50 states, by running, with my daughters, the Maui Oceanfront Marathon, as my wife waited for us at the finish line. If I ever return to Maui, I would definitely stay at Kahana Village. -

Our unit was perfect! Had a beautiful view and the interior decor and furnishing we welcoming, comfortable and beautiful. The only reason I would not recommended this for older travelers or with disabilities is because out unit was up quite a few stairs. The lower level units would work much better. We will definitely be returning and recommending the rental to friends and family, in fact, we already have! We know this side of the island is generally less sunny but we love the location and the fact that you really kind of have a private beach! :)

Lovely condo, tastefully and comfortably appointed. View is of both Lanai and Molokai and privacy is excellent. Check-in was quick and easy, and security on the property is low-key but present. While Kahana Village is not inexpensive, it is, all things considered, still a good value. Comfort would have been rated as excellent, but the king bed mattress could use an upgrade. (It is a tad on the lumpy side.) Otherwise, this is a fine spot for a fine vacation.

My family and I stayed in units 2 and 3 over the holidays. Both condos were great - we pretty much had everything we needed (except for a few very minor things) and my mom was even able to cook a full turkey dinner on Christmas for 15 people in the condo. Both condos were nicely decorated, but #3 was really well decorated and we especially appreciated the owner's taste in bed linens, vintage photos, and Hawaiiana.
We had great views of the ocean, cool ocean breezes (so no need for a/C), iPod docks, flat-screen TVs, free long-distance, quiet neighbors (at least we couldn't hear anybody next to or below us) and best of all -- just steps to a clean and quiet beach.
The staff left us some very lovely treats, champagne and a card for the holidays. A very nice touch and the old folks were especially impressed by this.
The only quibbles I have with the condos are minor:
- it would have been nice to have beach chairs or mats for the beach.
- the pillows aren't great -- not very supportive, too soft & mushy. Next time I'll bring my own.
- the window treatments in the bottom bedroom are not adequate in blocking out light and are noisy with the breeze.
- due to the winter winds, we had 3 power outages on Christmas Eve. It would have been great if either condo had had a flashlight.
Other than that, we were very happy with the condos and with the great service at Kahana Village. It really was like having a home away from home. If we do another big family trip, we will probably return and stay there again. -

Unit 3 was a pleasant condo. In November the sun comes in intensely, therefore the upstairs bedroom was very hot even at night.The condo was,in my opinion over decorated.There wasn't one space without an african mask, decorative fish,etc,although I liked the old surfer prints.The location was good, though there are 16 steep stairs to the unit.The owner used only 40 and 60 watt bulbs everywhere so the light for reading and in the kitchen was very dim. We bought 100 w bulbs and replaced many.I had asked if the pool was heated and was told it was.however it wasn't, only little kids used it; the hot tub had way too many chemicals in it.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. With our busy schedule it was easy to check-in and out at our convenience. The location of the resort allowed us to easily get to all the places that we wanted to visit. On top of it all, the view from our condo was postcard perfection!

We stayed at Kahana Village with some friends who had stayed before. It was absolutely fantastic. The location was great - close to shops and beaches and the apartment we stayed in was excellently furnished, clean and had everything (and more!) than we needed. The beds were comfortable and going to sleep(and waking up) to the sound of the ocean was just magical. Mai Tai parties on Wednesday were an added bonus!
We cant wait to go back. -

Everything we needed was in the condo. It was just like being at home.
It was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully located with ocean views.

The condo was great! Very clean and great location! However, both myself and another friend of mine were missing diamond jewelry by the time we got home. It was our mistake not to put it in the provided safe, but just another good reminder to always be cautious! The staff was of course very kind and said they followed up with the cleaning crew, but not surprisingly no one had any idea what happened to our valuables. Mine were in a jewelry box and I did not wear them the entire trip, so they definitely weren't left behind on accident. Not saying this has any reflection on the rental property, but be very careful to keep your belongings locked up if you stay here!!!

We stayed in Kahana Village Unit 3 for 8 days. It was 4 adults and a 2 year old. The condo was spacious enough for all of us with postcard like views from the balcony. I was able to see whales from the balcony. Amazing! And great pricing! Can't wait to go back and we will ask for this unit again. It does get a little warm upstairs in the loft if the wind is not blowing but that only happened once on our trip. The pool and hot tub were nice and the grills were plentiful and right by the pool. Great for our cookouts! The beach was right in front of the pool great beach area but just a little rocky as you get a little deeper. Our 2 year old had a blast everyday on the beach and in the water. The owners provided beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment and pails to play on the beach.

We (my husband, two daughters and myself) went to Maui for a week during spring break of April, 2010. My kids have never been to Maui and were in awe of Kahana Village. They enjoyed having the loft to themselves, the use of the pool whenever they wanted and an awesome ocean view of the whales and out islands (a rainbow daily)! The Village itself was clean and enjoyable. Everyone is friendly. Going outside of the Village, to the neighboring store or for a walk on the street out front, was an pleasant, safe experience. I can't say enough about our stay, we had a great time and would go back.

the service was great. everyone was really nice and they supplied everything we needed for a day at the beach. the house was very clean and decorated beautifully! we loved watching the whales every morning. it was hard to leave the lanai even though we had a lot of exploring to do. can't wait to return!

This was a stunning condo - the decor really took our breath away. The weekly mai tai parties were a great chance to meet the other guests, and Vicki and the staff took such great care of us!
We definitely plan on coming back to this condo in the years to come!
