We (a party of six) had a fabulous time at your property. We enjoyed everything about it. The Wed. eve get together was someting great, and more properties should do this. Loved our unit #24. Beautiful view. As for as location it was kind of on a side street, but that was okay. We missed one whole day of our vacation due to the airline, but that wasn't any fault of yours or ours. I don't suppose there could be any kind of compensation for that, is there?

The best place we've ever stayed. Our family celebrated our 50th anniversary at Kahana Village--everything was great, the condo, the staff and the whole property was nice--Very friendly Mai Tai party--Unit 24 had everything you could ask for in rental condo.

Our family spent a week at condo #24 at Kahana Village. It is a groundfloor unit with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. We loved how quiet the lush property was, and the feeling of privacy. The office staff was friendly and helped with everything from renting a crib to lending a coffee grinder. We enjoyed the pool, cooling off in the ocean and even rented paddleboards to use out front. Condo was beautifully decorated and had washer/dryer too. A wonderful place to be! We would definitely go back again.

This was definately the perfect place to stay for not only the beautiful view with the ocean right at your feet but also the peaceful evenings on the lanai. Unlife the hustle and bustle of the Kanapaali area where there are tons of people; the Kahana Village is quiet and relaxed. It was also a nice place to take my eight year old grandson as there were also other children his age that he could befriend and swim in the ocean or the village pool. I highly recommend this property and the management team were fantastic!

We decided to stay in a condo vs a hotel & boy are we glad we did. So much easier to step out your door & be on the sand & beach. No waiting for the elevator or pushing thru the crowd. We stayed in a 3 bed/2 bath condo. Full amenities, comfortable, lots of room for our girls to run around & play. This particular unit had a beautiful view of the ocean, sunset, & moonlit nights. All the guests were relaxed, not a lot of noise, the staff are very personable & friendly. The grounds are kept up very nicely, plenty of parking (5 minutes from unit). I picked fresh plumeria's every day to wear in my hair. I highly recommend this type of lodging. No more hotels for us & we will definately come back to Kahana Village!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Kahana Village, the home was well appointed, clean and right on the beach!!. You could open the doors and windows and feel the ocean breeze blowing through the house. The services and staff was excellent. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt. Great location.

For extremely high rental price, this rental unit is in poor condition. Examples of are TV in master bedroom shuts off for no reason, the refrigerator ice maker makes about 5 cubes every two hours, the front door hardware is broken, many small things like that.
We called to have maintenance done several times, but very poor response from management/repair person. I would definitely not recommend this unit to my friends or family.Response from Kahana Village Rental LLC - 03/07/2012

Here at Kahana Village we rate our Units Standard, Deluxe & Luxury. Unit 24 is rated as Luxury, and is a very true fit to our Luxury category. The owner recently completely remodeled the master bathroom, and bought all new living room furniture in 2011. Unit 24 consistently makes upgrades to fit the Luxury category and continues to be one of the most requested 3 Bedroom Units by our returning guests. Kahana Village prides itself in having an onsite management team that is very swift with responses to make sure every guest is given the utmost care on their vacation with us. This particular guest initially reported having trouble with the dishwasher, which was actually because they put Palmolive soap into the dishwasher instead of the Cascade dishwashing detergent that we provide, which caused the dishwasher to flood. They reported the ice machine making ice slowly, so we immediately called an appliance repair specialist which came to Unit 24 ASAP and let us know that the ice machine is working fine. Nothing was reported to our office about the TV in the Master Bedroom or that there was front door hardware broken, or these items would also have been remedied as swiftly as possible. Upon reading this review we replaced the Master Bedrooms Flatscreen TV and checked the hardware of the front door.

Unit #24. It is very nice! For the price and the rating of the Condo I would expect a few more luxuries though. For example the bedding should have duvets with covers that are washed after every guest. This would be more in line with a 4 or 5 star hotel. Also, the twin beds are extremely uncomfortable! Unless you like to sleep on a board, you would not enjoy this. The view is amazing and everything is adequate or better!

We had heard about your place from a friend and it was everything she had described. We traveled with a group for our sons wedding. The staff was so helpful and gracious. The Wedding was at the resort and was beautiful. I couldn't say enough about how pleased we are with our stay. Thanks to everyone there for a wonderful experience.

Great 3BD / 2Ba ground floor unit with spacious Lanai to view sunsets, Molokai, & Lanai. Great place for a family get together W/young (<5YR) children. Mostly rocky beach with a narrow strip of sand. Quiet location, easy to get to Kanapali & Kapalua. If you need supplies/food go to time market - good selection, reasonable prices.

We stayed in Unit 24 between 30th May - 6th June 2010. 4 adults, 2 children and a toddler. When we opened the door to the unit we were greeted with a spectacular view of the ocean. The unit itself looked better than the photos we had seen online so we were very pleased with the unit we chose. We were very impressed that everything we needed was supplied which made our stay so much more easier travelling with 2 children and a toddler. From all kitchen utensils to beach umbrella, it was all there. When we did have a few issues with the unit, the staff at Kahana Village were exceptional in sorting out the problem instantly. We were extremely satisfied and impressed with their level of service. Thanks again Vicki, Mike, Harmony and Curtis. The home was very comfortable but we found that our toddler had a reaction to something in the house as he would sneeze, have a runny nose and developed a rash when inside and crawling around. Not sure if it was dust, fibres in the carpet or pollens. There were quite a number of artificial plants in the home so plenty of places for dust to settle perhaps. That didn't stop us from making the most of our time there. The location of Kahana is very nice. It is a quieter place away from the main resorts and shops/restaurants of the Kaanapali area. It still does have local shops and restaurants nearby. We did find the Kahana seemed to be more windier and found that it wasn't as suitable to swim at the beach with the kids and the wind. The beach was lovely but again not the best swimming beach, especially with children. We would go to Kaanapali beach to swim to avoid the wind. Overall, our experience at Kahana Village unit 24 was a positive one. We had a wonderful, fun time with the family and a very relaxing stay. Thanks again to the owners for making your unit well equipped and homely. A wonderful time had by all.

We love it here! The location is unbeatable, the grounds beautiful and the staff very attentive. We've stayed on this property before and will again. It is so peaceful. It doesn't get better than sitting on the lanai with a front row seat for whale watching! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Activities abound and are close by.
The units are spacious and well equipped. Falling asleep while listening to the ocean is heaven. On property perks are great too-no extra charge for parking, FREE wireless internet, and FREE long distance. It is really a nice change to not feel nickled and dimed to death. The Mai tai party is a great way to meet other guests and get ideas for things to try. The pool and jacuzzi are great too! We were here for Easter and the staff even delivered eggs from the "Bunny" to each unit for the kids! I can't say enough about this place. They really try to make sure everyone feels welcome! -

We vacationed with 6 people at Kahana Village #24 and everything was beyond expectations. The unit was very clean and well appointed, with everything we could possibly need. The pictures on the website do not do the unit justice. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we could possibly need, including a pineapple corer/slicer!!! An unexpected surprise was the beach chairs, a cooler, snorkel equipment, all available for our use. The view from the lanai was breathtaking, able to see whales from the comfort of home (brought our own binoculars) The location was very convenient to many stores and restaurants. The Mai Tai party was fun, and a good way to meet our fellow guests. Harmony and the office staff were very welcoming both on the phone when we made our reservations, and in person when we arrived. Have nothing negative to say, just sorry Maui is so far from Chicago.

When we turned into the parking lot at Kahana Village we knew this was going to be good, but by the time we had checked in and opened the door of Unit 24 we knew this was going to be our best vacation ever. And we were right!
Kahana Village is well situated, with plenty of shopping, restaurants, attractions and activities nearby. The property itself is private, secluded, and incredibly beautiful. We used the pool and hot tub daily and the BBQ grills nearly as much. We found them, like everything else at Kahana Village, to be attractive, clean and well maintained. Kahana Village is well run. The staff were friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We appreciated the ease of check-in/check-out and the availability of the concierge service.
We took a day trip to Pearl Harbor/Honolulu and were able to fly from Kapalua, just three miles away. We also went went on many other tours and excursions and found Kahana Village Unit 24 to be a perfect "home base".
Unit 24 is amazing! It's practically on the beach which is clean, accessible, uncrowded, relaxing and beautiful.
I loved the master bedroom with it's sunken bath, walk in shower, awesome views, and exit onto the lanai. The other bedrooms, bath and rest of the home are also well furnished and appointed. The kitchen has been updated and has granite counter tops and stainless appliances. The views from the dining room,living room and lanai are breath-taking. From the lanai we watched whales while we drank our morning coffee. I was even able to get a couple of decent whale pictures from the lanai. Things we loved were lying in bed and listening to the waves, breakfast on the lanai enjoying the view, walking on the beach when the sun was rising and again when it was setting, and playing in the surf, or pool. I guess we loved pretty much everything about Unit 24 and Kahana Village. The only thing we disliked was leaving. -

We had a wonderful time. It was perfect for our family and especially for our 2 1/2 year old. The place is very family friendly. Proximity to the beach is priceless and falling asleep to the sounds of waves is fabulous. We loved all of the activities of Lahina and Kapalua nearby. Front office was superb. We are already planning our return trip to Kahana Village.

My family of 6 (2 adults 4 kids) stayed at the Kahana Village for a week in June and could not of been happier. We stayed in unit 24 and it was exactly like it was represented in the pictures. The beach is just feet from the covered patio and the ocean breeze through the house is unforgettable.
Vicki and Harmony could not of been nicer. The home was clean and ready for us upon our arrival and we felt special when we arrived and saw our greeting on the board outside the office. Some friends had called before we arrived and requested a gift basket be left for us in our room before we arrived and it was perfect with fresh fruit and snacks. The Kahana Village team did a great job.
The Wednesday night family night party was alot of fun and it was a nice chance to meet other guests and spend sometime getting to know Vicki and her team. After the party, our family stayed at the pool and cooked out on the gas grills and enjoyed steaks by the beach under the tiki torches.
We spent alot of time at the beach where the large resorts are located. We were so happy we were not dealing with the crowds. Even the kids said they LOVED where we were staying and were happy we decided not to go for the flash of the big resort. The were thrilled with the great 3 bedroom house and the easy access to the beach and the ability to leave our windows open and enjoy the ocean and pool with out the crowds.
We plan to go back to Maui and we will definitely stay at the Kahana Village. -

We so very much enjoyed our 10 day stay at Kahana Village! The
condo #24 was perfectly equipped with everything a family might
need and more. The complex was close to everything and was a great
spot to run from. My husband road cycled there most days and was
very impressed with the politeness and accommodation of the Maui
drivers. We will stay here again. -
