When I planned this familiy vacation I tried to keep in mind
everyone likes and dislikes. All I could hear from everyone was 'Mom, you out did yourself'. It was exceptional, the view was fantastic, the condo could not have been more perfect. Having the pool close to the ocean, we could relax
in comfort and have the perfect view of the ocean. -

We loved this place. Great location. The beach isn't all that great for swimming, but you can drive down a few blocks to a better beach. Close to everything, including a grocery store. The condo was stocked with coffee, towels, laundry detergent, etc. We stayed in Unit #19, which was a couple steps away from the pool and the beach. Our other family stayed in Unit #25, which was pretty dated but still clean.
My only complaint was that they did landscaping which was very loud when our baby was napping. There is no a/C so you can't shut the windows. I love that they keep their landscaping so nice but it lasted hours. If you don't have kids who nap this obviously wouldn't be a problem! Their pool is also not heated, so it was very cold. The hot tub is new, but tiny. Lots of chairs to lounge in the sun.
We loved their Wendesday night Mai Tai party! They did a great job with this.
We would definitely go back here! -

This is a wonderful place on all fronts. Location, units, grounds, view, facilities and staff. We stayed in a 3 bdrm ground floor unit on the water. Where else can you find that? We will return. Our family of 6 stayed in one unit, each of us agree, this is a place we wish to return to.

We picked this rental by website reviews and found them to be very accurate. We had 2 different rentals due to conflicts in scheduling, but they were both very well done. #25 facing Molokai had the better whale watching from the front deck. #31 was more tastefully decorated.
Both provided space for the 3 couples and 2 kids. All supplies (except for groceries) needed to provide our own meals and enjoy a lot of family time. The beach was perfect with protection from the reef and so the surf was gentle and easy. A turtle was seen in the shallows while wading. I would highly recommend this to any family groups or friends who just want a relaxing vacation in very, very nice accommodations. -

Kahana Village is a unique spot to holiday and a place we will continue to return to. The management staff are incredible and take personal accountability that your stay is a wonderful experience. The beach and pool areas are always exceptionally well maintained. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully landscaped. As many of the units are privately owned in the pool of rentals, there is an onus for each owner to maintain his unit in a presentable manner. Regretfully, our third experience was in unit 25 and this was an example where the owner had simply let the unit go too far without upgrades or renovations. The carpets are simply past their best and when called upon for help, the management team immediately responded with steam cleaning services while we enjoyed a day at the beach. Sadly, even steam cleaning did not help with the stains and signs of wear. We were told the unit will need to have upgrades done before long or it would be removed from the rental pool. Overall, we love Kahanna Village and will return again as a loyal customer. (We especially loved the quiet nights where all the residents follow the quiet hours request in such a cooperative manner.)

Left on 07/07/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Our family stayed in unit 25 and booked it by online viewing only! Let's just say we were not disappointed. Everything you need is provided for you, it truly was like a home away from home! My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversary and stayed at Kahana Village with our 3 grown sons and our daughter in law. We had plenty of room for all of us. The evenings watching the sunset from our patio were priceless. The Mai Tai party the resort puts on each Wednesday night was wonderful, it's was pouring rain when it started, but you would never have known it. All the guest came out to mingle and Vicki and her staff had smiles on and the rain never stopped them for a second. It had been 28 years since we had been to Maui, but it won't be 28 before we return, and Kahana Village 25 will be our choice once again!

This vacation was to celebrate the high school graduation of my niece from Oklahoma. Everything you could possibly need is in this condo. Nicely decorated although my niece was looking forward to the bedroom with lime green/blue colors which are her favorite but it had been redecorated. Still nice. Really glad we went to the mai tai party as it was alot of fun and the drinks were delicious! Location is convenient to anything on the west side of Maui. Geckos were so cute. Sunsets were magnificent!!!

Our time on Maui was perfect thanks in part to the condo at Kahana Village. From the excellent comfortable beds to the amazing sunset views from our deck with candles and comfy chairs to watch the ocean and the whales and turtles. How wonderful this was for our family of 5 to just relax together and to be in an environment that truly recognizes the aloha spirit. We enjoyed the pool and the beach and especially enjoyed the Wednesday evening mai tai party. The condo was so clean and fresh and very well stocked. Thank you for such a great experience for our first time in Maui together, we will be back to Kahana and will stay again at the Kahana Village.

We love Kahana Village, and have booked a different unit for the 3rd year in a row. The location is superb; Vickie, Harmony and Curtis are absolutely wonderful, the amenities are great, we love having a newspaper and telephone service; snorkling, whales, dolphins, turtles and even flying fish and a monk seal almost on the beach. That being said, the property owners need to realize that updates are needed after a few years. Mattresses should be a priorty; windows should not be blocked with massive furniture(especially ocean front); kitchen utensils and pots and pans should be in good working order, and some barbeque untensils are very much needed.

Left on 11/23/2011 for a stay in October 2011
We stayed 8 nights at Kahana Village in October, 2011. The location is great for taking advantage of all of the attractions on the west side of Maui. Of course, trips to attractions on the other side of the island are no problem, too. The buildings and grounds are very nice, as was the unit we stayed in. The units are individually owned, so the decor differs from unit to unit, but they all looked very nice from what I could see. We were right on the ocean, and there is a nice sandy beach 20 feet from the unit. Kahana Village is so quiet it almost seems like you have the place to yourself. Everyone came out on Wednesday evening for the weekly free Mai Tai party, though, which was very nicely done. I would definitely stay there again, and will recommend it to anyone who's going to Maui.

We stayed at Kahana village with our 2 grown sons and their significant others. The condo houses six people very comfortably. Everything you can possibly need was provided in this completely furnished condo. The view from our condo was beautiful. We watched the sunset almost every evening from our laina. The Mai Tai party Wednesday was a great way to meet your neighbors and get more information on places to visit nearby. If you are looking for a great location to enjoy a peaceful time in Maui, this is the place to stay. You can visit all the surrounding areas and come back to a quiet, private setting. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying at Kahana Village.
We loved all aspects of our stay.
The location, the view, the proximity to the beach, the garden, the pool and the jaccuzi.
One of our boys got bite from sea weed or somthing on his hand when they got into the sea water at Kahana Village. This was something not very pleasant. I am sure you will address this as priority by cleaning up the beach area or which-ever way appropriate. -

Left on 04/06/2011 for a stay in March 2011
This is our fourth consecutive year visiting Maui in March and our third year in a row staying in the 3 bedroom / two bathroom unit at the Kahana Village. We have had three incredibly great vacations during these three years and have stayed either two or three weeks each year. The resort is small enough to be intimate, but large enough to allow privacy. It is an incredibly safe place to bring children with very nice grounds and grass areas for playing and a very safe beach. The location is so close to the beach that it is hard to believe - it is difficult to leave the Lanai (front porch) where watching whales, other sea life, surfers and sunsets are a favourite pastime. The location is excellent as well with nearby beaches being some of the best on the Island, with easy access to Kaanapali and Lahaina. The units themselves are top of the line, and allow everyone to have lots of space and privacy as needed, and is a great home away from home for the entire family. The staff are very helpful and friendly and sincerely interested in helping you to have a great vacation. Wouldn't stay anywhere else and are already planning our return for next year.

The unit had top of the line amenities and we had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable. We loved hanging out on the lanai. The mid week Mai Tai party was a pleasant event and we learned people from our town were staying in the next unit. We could have done with the tsumani at the very end of our stay.

We ended up here after some problems experienced in the previous suites. However other than the toilet plumbing and bad venting in the bathroom (it smelled a bit) this suite was amazing. I can't say enough about harmony and Curtis. They bent over backwards to make our stay a pleasant one. Our investment in our vacation was obviously very important to them. That was refreshing. One can overlook a lot of problems when there is a caring staff.
Thanks guys! -

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kahana Village. the onsite management is a big plus and the facilities (heated pool, oceanfront, fully equipped condos, free long distance calls) are top notch. Kahana is a great location with shops, groceries and restaurants within walking distance. you can do as much or as little as you want; the choice is yours! this was our 3rd trip to Maui and as they say, third time's the charm, and we will come again too. i highly recommend Maui, Kahana and Kahana Village as a great vacation stay.

we took my 81 year old mother, and wanted to make sure her stay in Hawaii had an oceanfront with a fantastic view. Kahana Village #25 provided just that. Unfortunately there were 4 steps she had to negotiate, but she managed very well. We would definitely stay at Kahana Village again! They made everything so easy!

This was our third stay in Kahana Village. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort. Our unit #25 was perfect...clean, beautifully decorated and had eveything we needed. You feel like you're at home when you stay here. The view from the lanai is unbelievable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We brought several relatives on this trip who had never been to Maui and many plan to return next year and will definitely stay at Kahana Village. This place is first class and yet affordable.
I highly recommend Kahana Village to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay while in Maui. It's away from the hustle and bustle but a short drive to shopping and restaurants.

With both of us are involved in high profile, stressful jobs, we truly look forward to getting away from it all and spending a restful, relaxing vacation in Hawaii each year. Unit 25 offers everything we could possibly want or need. Friends ask us where we dined on our vacation and we reply that we always eat in . . . watching the sunsets from the lanai each evening while we sip wine and nibble on pupus is so relaxing and enjoyable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kahana. Our condo was very clean and comfortable. There were 6 of us in our travel group including a 2 year old, and the condo suited us very well. My only disappointment was that the beach was not as nice as beaches at other places we've stayed on Maui. There was a lot of seaweed and rocks. I would definately recommend the Kahana.

Left on 05/06/2009 for a stay in June 2007
As a novice Hawaii travelor, I put alot of trust in the information I received from the web-reviews and property description. I was not disappointed. Condo vs hotel - no comparison. Fantastic to have a home base, a kitchen and privacy; right on the coast. Gorgeous sunsets watching the turtles bob all around us. While the concept of condo worked extradordinarily well, equally impressive was this particular unit. It was well outfitted, clean, and comfortable. It was quite, it had everything we could hope for. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

Left on 05/06/2009 for a stay in May 2007
I have a client who is rehabilitating from a stroke who needed a break from her life on the mainland. I have vacationed many times on Maui and I knew my client would benefit from being in paradise. My challenge was finding a place that would be accessible for my client.
Although my client has physical and cognitive disabilities that limit her independence in her own home, she was able to be independent within the condo. The condo even has a walk in (barrier free) shower! I was able to take my client to the pool daily for rehab exercises and she got a sun tan for the first time in 3 years!
There are not many sight seeing places in Maui that accommodate people with disabilities/wheelchair accessible. Her "sight seeing" of Maui was very limited. The perfect accommodations within the condo really saved the day!
Thanks Kahana Village for making her vacation a success!
