My wife and I like a lot of the simple pleasures in life and the quietness and serenity of Kahana Village delivered the promise. The immaculate grounds - the friendly staff - the location - the decor of the units were all outstanding.

A wonderful vacation. Excellent service throughout booking, and during our vacation. The complex is very well thought out with all the little details taken care of. Our unit was perfect for our family vacation. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for the perfect stay. We loved breakfast on our lanai, watching the whales, we captured some awesome pictures. The ocean front position is beautiful and so peaceful, we are glad we stayed here instead of one of the other busier tourist areas/beaches. We loved the peace and quiet. It is a complex ideal for early to bed, and early to rise, refreshed and ready for a laid back day. We are planning on returning next winter, and have recommended Kahana Village to our friends. A home away from home which was the perfect holiday for my husband and I and our 18 month old twins. Thank you!

Unit #33 was great in every way. We have been staying in the unit for nearly a decade and always look forward to our returns. The unit is very well managed, clean, well located and very comfortable. The complex is one of the best condominium offers on Maui and should be seriously considered by any prospective vacationer. Kahana Village and unit #33 get our top rating for value received in the accommodations category on the island. Thank you Vickie, Harmony and Curtis.

We had a wonderful time on our stay at Kahana Village. Unit 33 was great and offered amazing views of the whales who were going crazy all week. We were lucky enough to witness Two weddings on the beach right in front of our unit. The staff was wonderful and offered great advice on restaurants and sights to see. The beach was the most private that we found on the whole island.

A much needed vacation was perfected by this wonderful, spacious, peaceful condo at Kahana Village.
All communications to schedule and coordinate our stay were responded to by the staff at Kahana Village quickly and with great detail. Harmony was so great at making sure all our questions and concerns were answered before arriving for our vacation. She is a true gem!
The unit was clean, spacious and exactly what we were expecting (and hoping for). The lanai was never unoccupied as it provided a wonderful view of the ocean and sounds of the waves both day and night. The upstairs loft bedroom was comfortable and the downstairs main bedroom was large and peaceful.
The luxury of having the kitchen to cook meals and living room to relax after a day of adventure was so comforting and definitely better than a hotel.
The only downside that we could identify was that the unit is not air conditioned. At piqué heat or humidity, the upstairs loft can get stuffy but the unit does supply numerous fans to help circulate the air and there are also ceiling fans up and downstairs.
All in all, should we have opportunity to return to Maui, we will definitely return to Kahana Village.

Below us was the beach and on the horizon, the island of Molokai. To the left we could watch the sun set over the water between the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The wall of windows facing the water brought the gorgeous views into the living room of the condo.
The condo is spacious and well equipped. We especially enjoyed dining on the lanai. Grocery store is just a 10 minute drive away.
Thoroughly relaxing vacation spot!

We stayed in both units 31 & 33 and both were fabulous. They were very clean, with updated kitchens and bathrooms. We cooked a lot and had every utensil and pot we needed. The loft bed in 31 was very comfortable. Ocean views were awesome and we saw tons of whales (March 2-10). We picked up shells on tne beach and laid out on the sand. If we had brought our children with us, we would have traveled about 3 miles to Napili Beach (its very close, but has outdated condos) for them to swim because of some small rocks in the water. For us 30-somethings, though, our beach was fine.

This condo worked perfectly for us. It was far enough away from the maddening crowds at the resorts north of Lahaina so we could relax, but close enough to the beaches and restaurants so we could take advantage of them whenever we chose. The condo was clean and well-appointed with great sunset views. The staff was friendly and helpful. We hated to leave.

My wife and family have been to Maui on more tha 10 occasions. Kahana village is far and away our favorite place to stay, unless you want the luxury hotel experience. The setting is beautiful, and especially geared for families. Vicki and her staff offer incredible service. The proximity to the ocean, especially when the whales are in, is wonderful. Most of the units have been recently re-done with excellent amenities,e.g.wi-fi, plasma TVs etc. Little glitches that occur e.g.clogged drains, etc. are promptly fixed. We have been to Kahaha village I believe 6 or 7 times which speaks for itself.

Unit 33 was average in furnishings and very poor in kitchen needs-without an outside window in the kitchen, the light was next to nothing even with all the kitchen lights on. I was hesitant to use any pots/pans as they appeared unclean and felt I had to scrub them when i did use them.
We did enjoy the quiet compared to our last visit in October. -

Kitchen is outdated and in need of remodel. Fabulous view of Molokai. No beach in front of condo. Older, but kept up. Beautiful, mature landscaping. Friendly manager. Free use of boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. is added bonus.

It was apleasure to return again to Kahana Village.
The grounds are beautiful the conodo great and the parties on Wed are so nice to meet new people.
I would have liked having a cleaning day and time so we could plan to be out, and a landscape schedule so we also could go off site to avoid the mowers and blowers. But even those did not make a hugh difference. Thanks again for a peaceful beautiful time. -

We enjoyed our stay at unit 33 Kahana Village. The location was great, a short drive to Lahaina and Whalers Village. Our view was spectacular, we watched the whales every day from the lanai. There was good swimming and snorkeling right at our complex but Black Rock was a short drive and well worth it. The only complaint about this unit is that the mattresses are very soft but we like firm beds. All in all we would recommend this condo and hope to go back.

Left on 02/21/2010 for a stay in February 2010
Our family's main objective was to see the whales on our trip to Hawaii. We stayed at Kahana Village in #33. It was nicely furnished and worked out well for two couples. We wanted to make sure we would have an excellent view of the water in order to see the whales and the balcony of our apt. was perfect for that. While #33 was not very close to the pool and hot tub area, we could have easily walked a few steps to get there. In our case, we didn't plan to use them much and really liked the privacy that we had in our apt.
The people in the office were really, really helpful on the phone and very pleasant in person.
If I were to go to Maui again I would certainly try to stay at Kahana Village again. -

This is our third time staying at Kahana Village, we love it! We have looked at other rentals and always return here. It's a great alternative to high rise condos and is much quieter. The service and staff are excellent. We love the location which is only minutes from Lahaina. We'll be back again!

This was our first visit to any of the Hawaian Islands and we sure picked a good one! We are former owners of a vacation rental business and because of our experience with that, we were leary of renting a privately owned condominium. Unit 33 in Kahana Village exceeded all of our expectations. There was nothing missing in this unit, and the decor and furniture were wonderful. What at treat to lay in bed and listen to the ocean! We also enjoyed the music system which synced right up with our Ipods. The view was spectacular; we spent many hours on the lanai trying to spot whales and enjoying the fantastic weather. The on-site staff was great and very helpful. Beach access wasn't the best because of the rocks.

Left on 09/26/2009 for a stay in September 2009
I booked Kahana Village based on all the strong reviews on Trip Advisor, and I was not disappointed! I will definitely come back here. Now let me try to give some good information.
Location: Very convenient, right between Ka'anapalli and Kapula. Right on the ocean at a point, so some of the units face north and others face west. The beach is small and definitely swimmable, but not very clear water and not good for snorkeling. Drive up the road 1-2 miles to Napilli and Kapula beaches or head south to Ka'anapalli. Groceries, convenience stores, restaurants very close by.
Kahana Village: Some of the other condos in Kahana looked a little sketchy, but this place was a gem. It is a beautifully maintained complex with a very friendly and helpful staff. The pool area was really nice and fine for lounging or young kids (3 ft deep only). I could see older kids wanting something more. The Wednesday night Mai Tai party was great. Free Mai Tai's, snacks, music, etc.
Unit #33: Awesome. Perfect. Northern exposure, so it stayed reasonably cool. Keep in mind, no A/C in the complex. Cool ocean breezes and room fans made sleeping comfortable (a concer we had going in). North facing view of Molokai was incredible. We loved eating our meals on the Lanai. Very well appointed. Comfortable beds, furniture, beach toys, beach mats, boogie board, etc. As someone who likes to cook I appreciated the kitchen and its supplies (anadized aluminum pans, Henkels knives, etc.) - much better than what you typically find in a condo. This unit's location was very quiet (set back from the road). -

We had a wonderful time staying here, and the staff was very helpful in making our arrangements. The location is quiet and off the beaten track, and our unit was in excellent shape. We had terrific sunsets from our lanai with great views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day, this is it!

My family of 5 spent two weeks at this condo in kahana village and it was perfect. My younger son slept on the pull out bed in the front room but we all fought for sleeping there as the sound of the ocean and sea breezes were so soothing. The kitchen was perfect and we did cook a lot. We drove down the road to the farmer's market and organic food store. In the evenings we attended some of the condo mai tai parties, with music on the beach. Really lovely...I still think about it now and hope to go back in another year.

The appartment we rented with friends for almost two weeks to attend a wedding was absolutely wonderful. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and the condo was tastefully decorated and so well maintained. We'd picked the place from the wonderful 360 views of each room online and were not disappointed. It was just as spacious, clean and it really felt like home during our stay. From the blender to make your own frozen drinks to the IPod docking station it really had all the amenities and then some. And the grounds were beautifully kept. The location was perfect too. Close to some fabulous bathing/snorkeling yet nice and quiet and not overshadowed by gigantic hotels. We had a fabulous time and would love to return.

Kahana Village is absolutely wonderful and unit #33 was exceptional. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips and sleeping in the loft is highly recommended. I especially like the decor and the sea turtles made it even more special.
Kahana Village is everything and more for anyone looking for the true Hawaii. It is small, quaint and you feel you have known the staff forever.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff and the guests were very nice. The unit was perfect, overlooking the ocean, very clean, and stocked with quality necessities and items. I booked it at the last minute as my previous booked place was under construction. It was a very "at home feeling" and I would stay there again.
