Noelani was a very pleasant boutique resort. We wanted to be close to the water. I don't think you could get any closer with beautiful views of Lanai and Molokai. Every afternoon, a very short walk led to the cove where the sea turtles came out to sun themselves on the rocks. I have been coming to Maui since the 1980's and have never seen turtles like that. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The unit #111 was beautiful and well stocked. Couldn't ask for more.

1 - Was told when I booked that if the room was not re-booked at the end of my stay, it might be possible to keep room till late in afternoon with additional cost. Okay by me since my plane didn't leave till 6:00pm. I asked every Day I was there if I could stay and each time got the same message, we'll have to check with the maids. I have no problem if not possible to stay longer, someone should have just told me yes or no. Not keep stringing me along. If you are going to offer this service, then you need to offer it and if not then don't mention it.
2 - Rented an a/C unit and it didn't really ever get cold. I'd tried and tried adjusting the thermostat and each time within a few minutes it was back at around 76 degrees. Okay it didn't need to be zub zero, but would have liked cooler than that, especially since I paid extra for the unit. -

February on Mauai at the Noelani was fabulous! The weather was perfect. The property location on the water was awesome! The help was friendly and knowledgeable.Our studio was comfortable but needed some TLC. Bird poop was all over the kitchen counter top and refrig when we first arrived! We cleaned it up ourselves and mentioned our displeasure to the front desk! The corner studio condo looked like it had not been rented in awhile and it looked like no one had checked it before we occupied it! A wilted lei was on the railing in front of our studio door and still there when we left 8 days later. Very ugly by then!
The things we were unhappy about were few and the things we loved about the Noelani were many!.The pool area was lovely and the landscape around it well maintained.We would select a different building next time and a larger unit. We liked the fact that the condos were well supplied and not noisy. The location was gorgeous. The grounds arounds the pool and larger building were emaculate. The area around the street side buildings was messy and not very clean at times!
We will be back with family and friends! The price was also affordable for us retired folks!

The room was more than adequate for a most enjoyable

We love the Noelani and have sent two couples there to stay in our favorite unit! It is so nice to walk in, open the sliding door and breathe in the fresh air! We love the privacy of unit #111.
The only thing that could improve the experience would be eliminating the road noise, but that is impossible! Who really wants to sleep in on vacation anyway!??
If we could buy #111 we would do it in a heartbeat! -

The only complaint we had was we could always here the gate bang at night when people came in.
Also, the owners could give more than one fan. The weather was pretty humid in august -

We loved this laid back, beach front and reasonably priced condominium. This was also a perfect location for our honeymoon: close to the old city of Lahaina and less crowded beaches like D.T. Flemming, but a scenic drive would easily take you to West Maui.
The best thing about staying at Noelani was Bruce, the concierge. As first time visitors to the islands of Hawaii, we knew little about dodging timeshare agents and getting the best price for activities. Bruce helped us organize a range of memorable activities for our whole stay on Maui - no issues or complications!
