Three bedroom condo with two lanais. Awesome views of the turtles feeding on the beach and great whale watching. The beach is not good for swimming but Napili and Kapalua beaches are a short drive away and are great for snorkelling. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. Pools and hot tub and grounds were well maintained. We were three couples. Because the dounstairs bedroom was twin beds and the bathroom didn't have a shower, this would have been better for kids.

We were very pleased with our time spent at the Neolani resort. Our condo had everything we needed. Very clean and well stocked. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Great view everyday with watching the turtles, whales & surfers. Walking distance to some restaurants & not far to drive to Lahaina for shopping & many great restaurants & entertainment. If anyone decides to stay at Neolani, please see Bruce for the informative breakfast. He is so helpful in helping you decide what you want to see & will help you make reservations for different tours & such. Such a great service. We would definately stay at the Neolani resort again as I am sure we will be planning another trip.

Stayed at the Condo #306 from 2-16 Jul 12. The condo was exactly as advertised in the photos. What was on line was what you could expect. Was there with a family of 4 (2 small kids) and a set of grandparents and the 3 bdrms and the ample square footage provided plenty of space for all. The complex is in a great location away from the busy and pricey Ka'anapali and Kapalu, yet close enough to enjoy those same places. The small size of the complex (50 units) gave it a great "small community feel" where you got to know almost everyone staying there. The photos are a bit out dated as the appliances have been replaced with stainless steel appliances. Did not have any regrets staying, staff at the office were friendly, helpful and extremely quick acting when small issues popped up (new light bulbs, sticky door). The maintenance issues were handled extremely quickly. The location of the complex is also great as it is truly ocean front. So why only 4 stars you might be asking? 4 star simply because I am extremely picky and don't give that rating out too much.
Cons of the unit
1. Utensils - OK pretty small point to take a star away but when my 6 year old can easily bend a fork its time to update them.
2. Decore - OK not that we spent a lot of time in the condo but the decore is simply outdated. If you are looking for granite counter tops and modern colours not this codo at this time, but hey who cares you are on vacation.
3. Master Bed - A little soft/lumpy for my liking but still slept like a baby. May just need a new mattress.
4. Lighter - lots of candle holders for candles but no lighters
5. Narrow parking stalls - because it is an older complex the parking stalls were extremely narrow to the point the passenger in the front of the mini van had to get out before parking so we didn't ding the car next to us.
(see I told you pretty picky to get 5 stars)
Pros
1. Location of the complex - ocean front property close to a small (bit cloudy water) beach 100 yards away.
2. Small complex size - as I stated earlier the small community feel
3. Lanai off the master bedroom - able to have an early morning coffee and watch up to 2 dozen sea turtles play at the rocks on the shore line
4. Lanai on the main floor - ability to have a homemade supper and glass of wine watching the sunset.
5. Staff - From the front office, to the maintenance folks and to Bruce the concierge (he'll give you anything you want to know about Maui and where to get the best deals) they were all friendly and prompt.
6. Pools - for such a small complex to have 2 pools meant that they were not busy
7. Bbqing watching the turtles/sunset
Other little pluses the front office has a road to Hana CD for a free borrowing as well as a DVD library if you need to keep kids occupied. This particular condo had when we arrived beach mats x 4, a cooler, 2 x beach chairs. We left behind 3 x boogie boards, 2 x folding camp chairs and 4 x beach towels. Hopefully everything stays.
That last point to make is that this is an older complex. If you like the fancy stuff and want the most modern, must updated and high end items go throw your cash at one of the big resorts. If you want an extremely comfortable, reasonable, friendly quiet resort Noelani and this condo is the way to go.
Internet access - As of 12 Jul 2012 they just upgraded to free wi-fi for all units

Noelani was a delight. Every experience we had was exactly as described in the web site. The surroundings are idyllic, and very well kept. The staff was very helpful. The view is spectacular and the turtles were plentiful. After visiting beaches at some of the large resorts, we appreciated the quiet secluded feeling of Noelani that much more. We hope to come back.

We had eight people and the unit was superb in all aspects from the accomodations to the view. Had ample space so that you did not feel you were on top of one another during the visit. Have highly recommmended to many people.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the Noelani Condo's more than once and we would love to go again. We love the location, it is private and you don't feel like a nameless face, it's not too big and we love that you're not surrounded by looming hotels.
Our room had everything you could possibly need which was fantastic because cooking and washing at home saves a lot of money. The furnishings made you feel at home, it was not at all pretentious. The two lanais had fantastic views which included sea turtles and at certain times of the year whales as entertainment.
The beach is not the best but we loved how small it was and that it was never overcrowded.
Management was extremely helpful with their info - they had lot's of tips.
My one and only complaint was that the carpet in our condo was extremely old - but hey that is my only complaint. I would highly recommend Noelani to friends and family. -

Planning for our 2nd trip to Hawaii in 20 years, we stumbled upon Neolani. We immediatly booked our 10 day stay & couldn't wait to arrive ! The upfront info is awesome, Bruce is a treasure ! His recommendations saved us $$$ ! Evenings where spctacular with the torches & setting Sun. Lounging by the pool & jacuzzi was relaxing, we had them to ourselves most of the time ! Swimming with the turtles right off the rocky beach was a special treat ! Falling asleep to the sound of waves breaking on the rocks ! Truly a special place. Our return is already in the planning stages !

Returning for our second trip to Noelani, we where very pleased to find that the facility and gorgeous views were still there; along with the turtles that we enjoyed every morning feeding in the surf. We enjoyed cooking on the grills, watching the sunset from the pool and snorkeling off the shore. Great time for young and old alike. We can't wait to get back!!
