      Not worth the cost.

Left on 04/30/2013 for a stay in April 2013

The room had ants which is unacceptable at 1k+ per week. They had scheduled regular ant maintenance during our stay which is also not cool. The property is walking distance to the beach and Turtle Bay Hotel, but don't go in the pool at the hotel cause they monitor it and they will kick you out even if you are spending money there at the Hotel pool bar. The snorkeling at the beach is nice, but the room does not come with any gear or day umbrella which you will need. My friends stayed at 75 east and that room had snorkel gear and umbrella. Last, and just enough annoying to write about, you have to return the keys to the management company, which is a few miles away. Not something you want to do when checking out. You just want to go to the airport and leave, but they don't allow that. Kind of lame in my opinion.

      Turtle Bay Resort

Left on 03/07/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Condo is in a great location, close to both a lovely pool and tennis Courts. Spacious. Was great for our family as my daughter, grandchildren and I stayed there. As there are two single beds in the loft, that was perfect for the children.

Not a great place to stay!

Left on 02/27/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Not a good place if you are traveling with friends. Coz the neighbors wouldn't stop complaining. I had invited couple of my girlfriends to visit me for an hour. We were just watching tv and chilling. The neighbor from downstairs knocked the door and asked how long i was intending to stay. She said she hated it when the condo is rented for travelers. The next morning she knocked my door at 7am and asked how long i was intending to stay...7am? Overall very depressing and presured to stay there. :-(

Clean condo-but agree with other reviewers--not our favorite pla

Left on 02/15/2013 for a stay in January 2013

The condo was clean with a well equipped kitchen, but the other rooms were outdated. The bathtub would not hold water, we did not like the enclosed lanai-we wanted fresh air-not be enclosed in Hawaii. In fact the lanai screen had large openings on the bottom, and the sliding glass door had no screens, allowing for the large groups of ants and geckos that came in. Also the main door's screen did not shut properly nor the screen in the main bedroom. The condo is not near the ocean and the swimming pool had no gas grill or hot tub. And to top it off, the next door neighbor lived up to the other reviewers complaints about playing his music loudly-very Loudly- every night.

      Home away from home

Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in January 2013

My recent stay was terrific. This condo is well-equipped with good kitchen items/silverware, etc. A box of foil or cello would have been nice and/or a few plastic containers for food storage. However, that's nothing that some purchased plastic bags couldn't handle. The only problem with this location is that the neighbors played loud boom-boom music every night. Albeit they turned it off - or turned it down - around 10:00 or 10:30 as the condo rules dictate, however, I as I'm a light sleeper, had to use earplugs to fall asleep. (Coming from the East Coast we'd fall asleep by 9 in the evenings.) There was no problem with this in the front (master) bedroom, only the loft where I was located. (I loved the cosiness of the loft space, by the way.) Other than that, everything was fine. The noise could have been so much worse, so I feel reluctant even to mention this one slight negative.
Unit was very clean and updating was good. I would return here - but with a new pack of earplugs!

      Crazy Neighbours

Left on 01/19/2013 for a stay in January 2013

We Have stayed at the condos four times over the years always different condos. We were so impressed with how clean the condo was and how nicely renovated it was. But after the first night we started encountering crazy neighbours they guy next door doing construction at 8 pm, the lady downstairs complaining to us that we were making noise and even after we told her it was the guy next door she called security to complain about us. (Our kids were in bed by 7 pm)
Then the next night a neighbour was blaring the music and the guy next door was yelling, so the music just got louder. We felt we were caught in the middle of a complex war!
We love the complex and the pools, the BBQs, sitting out on the lanai at night. It is has always been so peaceful. We would stay clear of anywhere near 66 east as it was all permanent residents that seemed to bicker!

      Noisy, Potentially Dangerous Neighbor

Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Everything about our stay at condo #66 at Turtle Bay was excellent except the next door neighbor. He played his stereo every noght at full volume to the point where the walls would shake. He complained about our air conditioner. On the last night of our stay he repeatedly slammed doors, stomped up and down stairs and bounced sports balls off the wall. We never found out why. Another resident said he does this regularly and has a problem with children making sounds of any kind. We will never rent this condo again.

Overall, condo was satisfactory. We would have preferred a place further from the main road as traffic and buses were constant. Better lighting in bedroom and kitchen would be nice. Queen bed was very comfortable.

Can't wait to do it again

Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We had an amazing time. My husband, daughter and I were looking for a place to just relax and get away from it all and this was the perfect location. Location was just a short walk from the Hotel and we enjoyed a few meals there and a beautiful North Shore Sunset. This is a must stay for anyone just looking to relax.
The only problem we had was in getting the TV to work but it wasn't like we really missed it. Also the fridge had a bad fish smell. Otherwise the condo was well decorated and very comfortable.

      Spring Break on Oahu

Our family really enjoyed staying at the Esatates at Turtle Bay during our Spring break trip to Oahu. The location is wonderful and the units are very nice. We enjoyed being so close to the restaurants at the resort. The secluded beach off the bayon tree trail is fabulous. We really liked the slower pace and friendly people of the North Shore.

Nice condo, but the stairs are very steep and dangerous for children. This is not clear in the listing. Good kitchen. The Internet is in accessible, it says there is a signal, but the service is so bad that I was never even able to connect at all. I tried non-stop during my stay. Actually it was frustrating. Overall we had a great time though.

Left on 02/14/2012 for a stay in January 2012

The home was very clean and the upgrades to the home was lovely. We had a lot of space but the stairs were really steep for my 2 and 3 yo children to sleep in the loft. They ended up sleeping in our room. Overall, it was a nice place and I would visit again.

Left on 09/17/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We were moved to this unit because there were ants and roaches in another unit we originally booked. Since we arrived on Sunday evening, we stayed in the nasty one the first night, but the management co promptly moved us when I called on Monday morning.
Unit 66 also had some ants in the kitchen, but nothing like the first one did. Grounds were beautiful and it was quiet. We enjoyed our stay and hope to get back again

New Kitchen and flooring but that was all!

Left on 10/19/2010 for a stay in October 2010

When we arrived at 10:30 the guard was no where to be found. I had to track him down in his guard shack. All except two towels were damp in the dryer. They were smelly and needed to be re-washed. This was NOT a good way to start our vacation. The stairs were VERY steep and should ONLY be recommended for young adults. This needs to be stated very clearly. I have stayed in many 4-5 star vacations rental and this was NOT up to par. The flooring, furniture and kitchen were all nicely remodeled. But there was a half used travel size of shampoo in one shower???? Was this to be the two days of soap? For the price that we paid it would have been nice to have some coffee filters and a few spices. I stay in vacation rental who are privately owned for this exact reason. I would not stay here again. It really was bare minimum with the exception of a new kitchen.

The unit we stayed in was in great condition and the renovations were wonderful. The applicances and kitchen had everything you need to cook and eat with, they were great. It was a wonderful unit, very spacious loft and it was cool. the loft had a ceiling fan which made itcool and there was a lot of crossbreeze. The unit was wonderful.
