Unit was super and so was location. Only negative was no wifi service in unit. Never saw any management staff, but everything was in order, even though we arrived after hours, directions were explicit and we had no problems entering resort or unit. Dining room light did not work but after a phone call was promptly repaired while we were out.

We were so excited to find this lovely condo was as described. Awesome location and very comfortable for 2 couples! It does however have an ant problem and in some areas not that clean. No tv in downstairs bedroom and beds were not that comfortable. But you truly can't go wrong with this condo. I would stay there again for sure! We truly loved the location!

Vancouver, WA, United StatesEscape from the Chaos and really relax
Left on 02/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We had a wonderful time at our condo. Everything was just as described. The tradewinds blew right through the unit all the time, so no air conditioning necessary, but it's available if you needed it. The pool wasn't crowded and clean and inviting. The beach was a five minute walk. We shopped at Tamura's and Foodland for the best deals. Kitchen is well equipted with all kinds of extras. Hukilau cafe, Papa Ole's and Haleiwa Joe's are great places to eat. Unit even included a cooler, beach chairs and snorkle items. My son saw his first turtle right snorkeling at the beach by the hotel. It's a longer drive to other areas of the island, but being away from the hustle and bustle of town makes it so worth it and forced us to relax. Being in a condo allows your family each their own "space" which makes things much nicer. If you really need to relax, this is the place to stay. We will be back for sure. Mahalo (thank you) for the awesome vacation experience.

Duncan, BC, CanadaOverall - Very Good Experience
Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The unit comfortably fit our family that included 5 adults and 1 child. The kitchen layout and amenities in the kichen were above expectations. Location of the unit was just fine. However, beds have terribly mattresses that need to be replaced, the outdoor patio furniture that included an old badly stained plastic table and four beat-up chairs belonged in the dump and the shower in the downstairs bathroom had absolutely minimal water pressure. If the suggested improvements were made I would definitely recommend!

We had a great time. Overall, generally satisfied. Air conditioners less than excellent - very old - and hot in the loft. Garburator in the kitchen sink was broken - would have called the office if we had been there longer. Deck furniture very old and mostly broken and dirty. Dirty dryer fluff all over the grass. Very unattractive. Sliding doors to grass/porch area almost impossible to open and close. Badly in need of repair. Loved the turtle Bay Resort. Would stay there next time. Too much money for the condition of the condo.

Left on 06/12/2012 for a stay in May 2012
I had an amazing stay here at this location. Everything was easy and so close to the resort. Unfortunately, a few days after we had left, I get an email from the staff saying that the master bedroom frame was broken and I was going to be charged $75. I sent a response back via email, and have heard nothing from the staff. I requested a copy of the picture for verification, and have yet to receive one. I find it hard to believe that we could have broke a bed frame when it could have already been previously damaged. This left a bitter taste in my mouth and don't know if these rentals can be trusted in the future which is very unfortunate.

We will definitely stay here again! Many upgrades and very roomy place to stay. The only issue we had was there was NO wireless internet...there were also about 4 light bulbs that were out and should have been replaced before our stay. Otherwise, we will definitely stay here again when we visit hawaii.

This condo has been recently renovated. It has two bedrooms with double beds, then two twin beds in the loft. All the extras come with it, TVs, ethernet internet, everything you need in the kitchen (pots, pans etc.), beach and pool items, highchair and portacribs. We were very impressed! Air conditioning in the bedrooms only, but you really don't need air with the cool breezes at Turtle bay.

Sydney, NSW, AustraliaNice stay but the guards need to be more informative and pleasan
Left on 08/24/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We had a problem when we arrived as the guard gave us the wrong key. We unpacked only to be told by the other people in the other Condo that we had the wrong place. We re packed and then went to our condo. The condo we booked on line was lovely and clean
and we were very happy. We had a nice stay. The Guards could be better and more pleasant as we got lost when we arrived but he didn't tell us we had a map to follow in the envelope he just handed our key and package to us and left in his buggy in a hurry it
gave me the impression he wasn't happy or we bothered him. The staff in the office up the road were lovely and the cleaners did a fantastic job in our condo. -

Overall the property was clean. Many of the towels were dirty or stained and had to be washed. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Worst beds we ever slept in. One or two of the shades would not open. The appliances were very nice and worked well. Good supply of dishes but a few glasses were chipped or cracked. Can not recommended condo due to beds and bedding.

Left on 06/17/2011 for a stay in June 2011
Overall stay: Very Good
Location: close to hotel and beach;; you can drive and park at hotel or take a short 5 min walk A 10 - 15 min drive takes to Laie and in opposite direction to North Shore (Sunset/Pupukea/Waimea)
Clean and good shape:: nice and very clean, excellent furnishings. The living room gets warm in the afternoon, but the opening the sliding door and front door allows the trade winds to really cool the room.
Stuff to Fix: There are small ants, so don't leave food uncovered on counter (ants eat sweet food, so Taro will work instead of ant traps). The hanging drape over the sliding door should be fixed. The cords and pulley mechanism needs to be replaced. -

We checked in a little past midnight and it took us about 20 minutes to get in touch with the security guard to let us in the gate and give us our keys. He didnt say a single word to us, just gave me the envelope and drove off. We had to flag him down again so he could show us where the condo was.

Left on 01/27/2011 for a stay in January 2011
Vacationing on O’ahu was our last Island to visit. This, the seventh Hawaiian vacation, had the poorest accommodations. We arrived to find the following at the condo: a blown out outlet that controlled the ceiling fan in one bedroom, a dishwasher that did not work, burned out ceiling lights, broken window coverings, and an internet connection that did not work.
Later, we learned the window screens did not fit on the windows and mosquitoes dove into the downstairs bedroom. The couple who stayed in this bedroom was covered with bites, but after a trip to Ace to buy duck tape, the mosquito problem was tempered. In a couple of days the cable company arrived and replaced the modem. We went on line and found the manual for the dishwasher so we could fixed it. We also fixed the broken window coverings.
It is possible that these accommodations are mainstream for this area, we don't really know. But, we do recommend that someone thoroughly inspect all phases of the condo before renting it. -

There were many ants in the condo and retrieving the keys was not an easy task. It was difficult to get ahold of the guard, but after 20 tries we finally received the keys. We figured this was due to the "Hawaian pace". Overal, the condo was wonderful and clean. The decor was great. I would definitely stay there again.

If we didn't have an ant problem, it would be rated higher. Ants were a constant problem even though we sprayed with the provided can of insect killer. Very nicely appointed condo and well stocked.
Could have used more instructions on letting people through the gate (code). Would also have preferred a wireless connection to a wired one. -

Carlsbad, CANicely updated condo
Left on 07/20/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This was a nicely appointed condo - very convenient and spacious for the six of us. The only thing I didn't like was the tiny ants that were apparently residents in the kitchen (sink and counter) and the downstairs bedroom (wall next to sliding glass door. There's even a disclaimer in the contract about pests so I didn't even bother complaining.

Kailua, HIBeautiful unit
Left on 07/09/2010 for a stay in June 2010
This unit served our needs well. Louvered doors lessen privacy and allow sound between rooms; loft area is noisy if living room below is occupied. This unit was well equipped, down to coffee filters and spices in the cabinets. Bath towels were clean though bleach speckled, which reduced the overall luxury feel of the unit. Would have been really nice to have had a written guide to how things worked (e.g. wireless access) and details like how to let in guests at the gate. We checked in on Friday and were unable to get condo management to reply until Monday. On-site manager does NOT support these units in any way. One pool in the complex is rotated for "adults only" which could be an issue for families with smaller children (longer walk to your condo). Overall, this fit our needs for multiple units for a family reunion and we took advantage of being on Oahu's North Shore with daily excursions to nearby, well-known beaches.

Sunnyvale, CAOverall value for money but Air Conditioning would help better
Left on 06/04/2010 for a stay in June 2010
Oahu is congested compared to Big Island and thus you get a better quality of living at similar pricing in Big Island. This unit was upgraded and costed extra, but the upgrades weren't that noticeable. There was nobody next to us, thus no noise complaints. Air Conditioning wasn't good. The Window units in the 2 rooms aren't quite enough to cool the whole apt. Breeze is helpful during the day but at night you can't have your doors and windows open.

046 West was beautifully updated and roomy for two adults and 3 kids. The location and pools were great - it was a 2 minute walk to Lei Lei's restaurant by Turtle Bay Resort. We were a little freaked out by the huge cockroach the first night then a few more throughout the stay, but I guess it was to be expected. Overall, our entire family enjoyed the stay and we definitely recommend this particular unit.
