United StatesPeaceful, Beautiful Place to stay at a reasonble cost.
Left on 05/20/2013 for a stay in May 2013
It was a very peaceful location. Walking distance to the beach and the local people were very friendly.
The condo was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The bedroom was very comfortable.
The only thing that didn't feel safe was the bedrooms sliding glass door would not lock.
Other than that, it was a very pleasant expirence and we would stay there again.
Thank you for sharing your vacation rental. -

Hayward, CA, United StatesTurtle Bay Condo 057 West Review
Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Everything was great except 2 things:
-the bathroom sink was extremely backed up and would take a long time to drain properly with every use
-the patio screen door was broken and would come off the rails everytime it was opened/closed.
These 2 things were very annoying and unpleasant. Everything else was great. -

More amenities than listed including beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. we loved the downstairs location as I could walk right out the lanai. Privacy was great. The only complaint we had were the screens for the lanai. On their last legs. Would stay there again.

Kailua, HI, United StatesEnjoyed Our Stay
Left on 11/28/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We live in Kailua and needed a place to stay close to Kahuku in order to attend a wedding. We found this perfect condo that meet all our needs. Can't wait to come back. Location was convenient to all our favorite spots. My only suggestion would be to describe the drop off key place a little better. We were told to drop off at office, but the drop off box was labeled with another real estate name so we were confused whether we should drop off key. Would be more clear if Estate at Turtle Bay was labeled on drop box.

There are two property managers at the Sugar Mill, on opposite sides of the building. Both offices are clearly marked.

The Condo was great but the Swimming pools associated with the property were terrible. Green algae all around the bottom sides at all three pools. This means that there was not enough clorine in the water to kill the algae and thus protect whomever is swimming in this water from possible infection of any open wounds and means that live possible harmful bacteria could infect swimmers in this water. As a pool owner myself I know what this means. That a public pool such as these be left in this condition is shameful and dangerous to whom ever would use them. The rest of the property was well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. This was the reason for the 2 stars for overall stay.

I had a wonderful stay...I brought my daughter along at the last minute (I cleared this with magmt). It was a great time and I'd come back but I must say, there were way too many roaches and future guests might be a bit more dissatisfied. That being said, I'd still come back. The location was perfect and would absolutely stay here again next year. Thank you, the owners, for giving me the last minute deal. Thank you again...Mahalo ;)

Austin, TexasLiked it so much that I returned two weeks later.
Left on 10/21/2011 for a stay in September 2011
My wife and I stayed at this condo in early September and then planning to return again for two more weeks we requested this condo for what was our third trip of the season. Altogether we spent a month at this location.
The biggest problem with Turtle Bay condos is inconsistency of the units. Some have better amenities than others depending on the owner.. By returning to this unit we knew what we would get.
The bathroom is a bit dated but the kitchen is nice. The open design of the kitchen and living room seems to give more space. The living room furniture is not the horrible 1970s bamboo that you see in most Hawaiian condos. The floors are tile and carpeting. There are flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom.
During the first visit the aC in the living room wasn't working. I mentioned this on check out and they had it replaced when we returned two weeks later. The washer and dryer are larger then what we have had in other Turtle Bay condos and they worked great. The refrigerator is new. The bed was very comfortable. In general it is in a quiet place and if you look really hard you can see the ocean in the distance. Otherwise, the view out the back is of the golf course.
The only problem is that people who live in the condo above tended to walk heavily on their floor in the evening, but this wasn't a problem at bedtime. -

,Turtle Bay Condo 057W
Left on 03/02/2011 for a stay in February 2011
The Condo was spotless and well equipped, though wireless internet would have been a nice addition. the grounds were well kept, but the pools were not up to standard, badly needed skimming, and had algae growing in the corners of the pool. While the rest of the property was up to scratch, the pools did not match our far more positive expereince staying on the East side of the complex in the past

The staff at the property management office were great to work with. They were helpful, thorough and friendly. The condo was everything I could have hoped for. I would definitely return to this unit. I stayed 2 additional nights in another unit in the complex, rented from another property management company, and cannot say the same thing.

Left on 10/20/2010 for a stay in October 2010
We had a great time staying in this unit. We've stayed at a number of places on the island and were most impressed by the well equipped kitchen, great furniture, quiet location and the perfect breeze that flowed through the unit which meant we didn't bother with any air conditioning. Turtle Bay is a great place to stay as well.

Edina, MNLove Turtle Bay
Left on 08/29/2010 for a stay in August 2010
This is the third time we've stayed at the Estates at Turtle Bay. It's a great location and a reasonable price. It's nice to be away from the chaos of Waikiki and close to great beaches.
The only downside is that our car was broken into while parked at one of the more popular beaches. Lucky for us that we hadn't left wallets, cameras, etc. in the car. Just a hassle. BE CAREFUL ABOUT LEAVING VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR! -

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It's on the North Shore which is where we wanted to spend most of our vacation. The place was great and had everything that we needed. We will always come back to this place when we vacation in Hawaii and I would/already have recommend this place to friends.

I am sure you will not be using my review. It just was in a terrible location. I was told that parking was just outside the door -- it was not. I begged to be moved b/c I had a broken foot and they said they could not move me b/c I had a special renteal price with the owner. He was willing to let me break my contract -- but they were not willng to "lose some money".

Very clean unit with all necessary amenities. Beach at Turtle Bay Resort great for children. Pool was deep for our children but they had fun playing on the stairs. Enjoyed the north shore and its great beaches. Ola bar/restaurant on the beach was reasonably priced, friendly service, good food and kid-friendly. Would be great if the property had better recycling facilities.
