United StatesAwesome place to stay in North Shore

This is a super place to stay. The condo has all the amenities needed for a great beach vacation - included chairs, cooler, agua shoes, umbrella, snorkel gear, etc. The location was great, condo was extremely comfortable and a beautiful location. I would come back again and plan too.

This was a great rental unit; even better than the photos suggested. It was quiet, clean, spacious, and safe. I would happily recommend it to others & won't hesitate to stay there again if we go back.

Nice quiet end unit, second floor condo, well furnished, maintained and modern. That being said make sure you note the master bedroom is on a separate floor from the bathroom. The condo is located at the tip of north shore, almost at the opposite side from Honolulu. Great golf course surrounds the complex, short walk to restaurants and beach swim area (snorkeling too). Surf was up too much for most local snorkeling areas during our stay. Tourist attractions such as the Polynesian Center, Kauloa Ranch about 40 minutes away. Sunset surf beach about 5 minutes away. Foodmart, shrimp trucks and bakery also about five minutes by car. Much more traffic (and people) on the main road during weekends, you should plan accordingly. Best to see sights during the work week.

United StatesA cozy vacation home
Left on 09/19/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Enjoyed our stay in this unit. Positives - clean & cozy, comfortable bed. Overall, a nice property. Negative- the cleaning staff only left one trash bag and one toilet paper roll for the entire week+ stay. The upstairs bedroom can get really warm (even with the redirection of the downstairs fan) - the bedroom fan is useless. I'd stay here again if they got a new fan in the bedroom. :)

The spiral staircase was so cute!!! The decor in the condo was so welcoming. Island-theme without being cheesy at all. The owners provide everything you need and more! Great rental!!!

We had a blast staying in the condo. Was very well clean and had the staring essentials for the stay. Had awesome beach gear to take with us to the beach. My husband loved the golf clubs and golfing for $15 after 3. The only down fall was the stairs were very tiny to get to the second floor. Other than that we really enjoyed ourselfs.

Thsi is not as updated but it is clean. I especially liked that boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, sand toys and a cooler were provided. This was so nice and helpful for our trip. The pool was enjoyable for our grandchildren.

Very nice condo, quiet, clean, and two lanai's. The condo is on the second floor of a building that houses four condo units. There is a spiral staircase up to the loft bedroom that could be an issue for anyone with mobility difficulties. Full kitchen was very handy and had all needed utensils and a spice carosel which was appreciated, but some of the pots/pans could be in need of replacement. We appreciated the wi fi and had no problems with it. Nice flat screen TV. Owners were very nice to deal with and we had no problems. One bathroom but had 2 sinks/vanities which was very handy when 2 people trying to get ready at the same time. Many trees around made it feel very private. The grounds are lovely and the heated pool is about a 2 minute walk away. You can walk to the beach and Turtle Bay Resort Hotel in about 10 minutes and it is a lovely walk. We also enjoyed a hike along the ocean to a lovely beach and a very large banyon tree that was amazing. There is a Foodland grocery store in both directions, one about 5 miles in Waimea and the other about 7 miles in Laie (this one seemed to be a little bigger.) Either way, it was a scenic drive. Condos are about 3 miles from Kahuku and this is where you pick up and return the key to the managing agency office. Their office is in the same strip as the Kahuku Grill. Kahuku Grill is a very low key food establishment but we loved the food there. We ended up going back several times. Hubby loved the fish and I loved the coconut shrimp dinner. Yummy! Just don't expect anything fancy, go only for the food, not the ambiance or service. This was a wonderful condo on the beautiful North Shore and we enjoyed our stay very much. I would rent this condo again if ever back to Oahu.

We enjoyed staying in the condo so much because it was very comfortable, and had the amenities of a nice home. We could buy food and prepare it or save food from meals at restaurants. We enjoyed the wonderful surroundings by taking walks and the pool was nice also. We would definitely like to use #62 in the future.

This was our second time in ten years renting from the Estates at Turtle Bay. Both times we were incredibly satisfied. We rented studio units each time and they were clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is great--only an hour from Honolulu, but away
from the crowds. We would recommend the management company and this unit without hesitation. -

The security guard was not very helpful. I forgot my gate key one night and the securIty guard seemed put out to let me in he said he was sick. In my opinion he shouldnt be put out when a guest asks to be let in. That is what they are there for.

Left on 07/07/2009 for a stay in June 2009
Beautiful resort, near great beaches (Waimea was our favoutie), great golf courses (4star golf for $15 after 3pm on the George Fazio course - wow), and away form the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. Really had a great stay, and time here. Clean, comfortable, and well stocked with add-ons like golf clubs, tennis equipment etc. The owners were very helpful and communicative. Thanks so much!

The staircase was difficult for Stephanie to use. For those people who have fear of height or who cannot negotiate stairs well, the unit is not for them.
