The price was perfect and we got our bang for our buck. The unit was a little dated, but had all the emenities we needed. The property was lovely and in a great location. I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone. The only bit that was slightly annoying we're the hours staff were available to assist you, but the service was always friendly

This condo is in need of renovation. The shower tub unit needs replacing now and the tub/sink drains need clearing now. The taped seams in the drywall are tearing and showing everywhere. Needs to be redone. Good location and the Lanai was OK but all the others were screened. Never had to use the AC as the ceiling fans were sufficient. Main appliances worked OK and there was sufficient dishes etc.

Unit was a bit dated. Shower area needs to be replaced;drapes need to be cleaned. A bit out of the way to return the gate pass and unit keys. There was nothing special about this unit. I felt like it was a little overpriced for what you got.

This condo is scheduled for some remodeling. In the meantime, the rate is great. You can't beat $129 a night, during high season, for an entire house!

The location is excellent. A very short walk to the Turtle Bay beach, which is nice and calm for swimming when the surf is up. Wonderful property to go for walks and access to lots of beaches. Kuilima condos are older and this unit hasn't been updated, but it is a good price and we were satisfied with everything. It is as we expected. The kitchen had enough pots/pans etc. and was very clean. There is a small TV in the bedroom and larger flat screen for living room. Overall was comfortable to stay with our 9month old and staff was very nice when we dealt with them.

THE UNIT WAS GREAT. THE ONLY THING DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE CLEAR JALOUSIES ON THE LEFT OF THE PATIO SLIDING DOORS. AT NITE WALKING FROM BEDROOM TO LIVING AREA, ALL ARE ABLE TO PEER INSIDE UNIT & GUESTS INSIDE UNABLE TO SEE OUTSIDE. OTHER THAN THAT, GREAT PLACE TO VACATION.

I like the Turtle Bay Condos, not Unit 114. The stove drawer is hanging off, the DVD player didn't work, the paint was pealing of the closet doors in the bedroom and there were ants/ bugs on the kitchen wall and counter near the electrical box in the kitchen. The unit needs paint and updating. I did not see any Tsunami evacuation procedures. I would stay in a different unit next time.

We frequently go to Turtle Bay for golf tournaments for my sons. It is one of my favorite spots in all of Hawaii. We live on Maui. I love the resort. It has a great beach for swimming and my son went body boarding after golf. I rented a bike and cruised all the trails and went on long walks. The condos are clean and have everything you need.

Left on 09/09/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Internet connectivity issues and TV in the bedroom issues. Most importantly, I was not informed the dryer was broken and I had to hang my laundry around under the ceiling fans to dry. The note said one week to fix, the repair men showed up and nor only added another week but left a link mess for me to clean up. Dissapointed since doing laundry is important on a multiweek stay.

Left on 08/28/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We stayed here primarily for the great location and the fact the fact that we could book a 2-night stay at the last minute...with a small cleaning fee. The room total was hard to pass up online. However, everything in the condo was old and worn out, from furniture to appliances, and the place was infested with ants and roaches. We spent very little time in the room.

I continue to be happy with the services provided by The Estates at Turtle Bay rental team! I was there for the birth of a grandchild so renting for 28 days and being in close proximity to my family was very special. I know that #114 is being slowly updated and I appreciated what had been done before I arrived. I look forward to a return trip and staying at Turtle Bay Estates. Aloha, Ann Muir

Left on 02/13/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Although we had a wonderful time at 114 West, upon arrival, there were hundreds of tiny ants all over the kitchen. There were dozens of ant traps scattered around, but professional services were needed. The unit was built in 1973 and some of the furniture looked like it was from 1973. The kitchen was modern and updated. The bath and bedroom were nice. Only minor problem was the access code for wifi was incorrect, so we had to go to the Resort lobby and access their wifi. Golf course view from Lanaii was great, but you could hear truck noise on Kam hwy. The Bus has a stop at the condo, one does not need to rent a car. If you are a golf widow, the beach and pools are great for relaxing while husband golfs. We will stay here again, despite the ants.

Have stayed in the Kuilima Estates before. This time didn't work out so well. Some condos are really nice. The condo is in need of some refurbishment. The appearance was still nice and clean when we arrived. We had issues with large roaches in the plumbing. Managing staff did their best, but the roaches kept coming back.

We have traveled to many places and always love the condos or hotels that we stay in while on vacation. We really enjoyed the estates that we stayed at. We didn't have to drive far to visit our family who live on the island. We especially loved that we
were able to get up and do some morning exercises on the grounds. The furniture does however need to be updated. The dishes were not too clean. It was great to have the air conditioner unit in our bedroom but would have been nice to have one in the living
room also. The blinds in the living room needs to be renewed. I wasn't too satisfied with the carpeting. The room definitely needs new carpeting. -

I completely enjoyed my stay at Turtle Bay and will continue to stay at this property in the future. The only issue I had was that people above and next to our units were quite noisy, they may have been permanent residents??? Residents should understand
that people are paying a good sum of money for their vacation and they should be mindful and respectful of that. I loved the idea that there was an adult pool, although families still ignored the signs. Perhaps someone should monitor that? Other than that,
it was great. -

1. Under the Kitchen sink flooded. We had to turn off the water and call the after hour number because it was in the evening. We could not use the kitchen sink all evening because no one could come until the next morning.
2. We didn't know what time the maintenance man was coming so we had to wait. I finally called the office and they said about 11:30. We waited for him to come which wasted our vacation time. It was very inconvenient.
3. The patio screen door cannot close well which is probably the reason for all the bugs that was flying around.
4.Ants in the bathroom and in the living room. There was an infestation of ants in one of the chairs. We took it out into the patio and sprayed it with the bug spray that was provided. It didn't really take care of the problem. -

Left on 03/14/2010 for a stay in March 2010
The general property was very nice. However, the specific apartment we stayed in needed some work. The bathroom was where it showed the most: cracked and ugly repairs in the tub, very worn out cabinet over the sink. Cooking utensils provided in the kitchen also were very limited and in poor condition. Nonstick surfaces were badly scratched. If there was an alternative pot or pan, that is what I used. We also smashed 3 large cockroaches on different evenings. Since we are permanent residents of Hawaii, we know about insects here but that would freak out people from the mainland.

I definitely would recommend this to a friend. My only concern is there is no one at the office on Sundays to drop off the keys and gate card to in person. You have to drop them in a box. I got charged $50 because they could not find my gate card, which I know I left in the envelope because I did not want to get charged for it. I have no use for it so why would I keep it?

Presence of cockroaches not conducive to any return incentive. Presence of tiny bugs attracted in colonies to any food or waste items problematic; resorted to elevated storage with a band of dish soap as a barrier for items such as cereal. Wouldn't touch the spices in the unit

The only thing we didn't feel we wanted our money to go to was the cockroaches. It was a worry whether we would be taking them home. They seemed to come from the locked closet. Then we got a notice that they were going to spray for cockroaches on the Wed. we were checking out and the guy came at 9 am. Come on. They can be told to come after 11. We did and he left. It would have been perfect without the cockroaches. My husband didn't turn in the questionnaire because I wrote that you owed me for the cockroach experience. We did enjoy the beaches, the trees and flowers, and the other animals. We saw a mongoose. And the lizards were interesting. We were diappointed that we didn't see a turtle. We will have to come again to see them. Yes, we did have a wonderful time in Hawaii. Cheryl Olsen

Overall, the place was fine. I was disappointed though because this wasn't the unit I had booked. I wasn't told of the change until after I got there. You sent me an email but it was the day I flew in, so I couldn't check it. The unit I had reserved had air con in both the bedroom and the living room. This unit didn't. I hope that next time I reserve a unit, I will get the one I reserve. I was told that the owner decided to put new carpet in, but I arrived only 2 days after I had reserved the unit. I would think that the owner would've decided on new carpet well before that. Anyway, I enjoy your services, just would like to be sure I get the unit I reserve. Thanks
