Don't stay there! Terrible!!!
Left on 02/13/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I rented this place at $259 a night for two nights for our honeymoon. We were exhausted and just wanted to veg out, watch tv and relax.
First off, there was only one tv in the rental, in the living room, and it was a early 90's tv that was only about 19inches big. There was no tv in the bedroom and we had to move the couch all the way up in the living room to see the tiny tv!
Second, it sounded like the people in the unit above us were roller skating! I called the 24hour emergency number to find out what they could do and they didn't call me back for two hours (good thing the unit wasn't flooding!). They then said to just call security if it continued.
It was not worth the money we paid for no decent tvs and no peace and quiet.
I explained this to the property management company and they refused to do anything about it. -

If you don't mind bugs crawling on the counter tops then you're ok.If you want to have a good time don't stay here because the up stairs people are obviously in bed by 8:00 and complain about everything!!!

Everything was good with our stay at the Estates. The reasons below are why the property was a 4 star overall stay instead of a 5 star.
They did spray the second day during our stay there and I then had 3 cockroaches to deal with; 1 dead and two alive to remove.
The condo did not have a hairdryer which I find as a standard in any hotel or place you stay. -

The occasional heliocoter take-offs and landings interfered with phone calls, but otherwise a great place and time.

I enjoyed the condo and I have stayed at Turtle Bay Estates at least 5 times in the past few years. The only problem is the cost is getting more expensive and over what I am allowed to pay with the employer. I used to get a better discount, but this last visit was the highest rent I have paid and was over my allowance. If this continues I will have to use the hotel. I hope the discounts and costs will be reviewed and I can use the condos in the future.

Left on 04/18/2010 for a stay in March 2010
The accommodation was quite good, with a nice view of the 18th green, easily accessible location from the highway, close to the golf Pro Shop, and a short walk to the Turtle Bay Resort. Staff at the Property Mgt office were helpful and accommodating, and we would recommend others to use this company for booking a Turtle Bay condo.... and will do so ourselves, again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, and we could sit on the lanai and watch the golfers go by. The only thing that didn't work was the second bathroom's shower.

My mom and I stayed here while on vacation July 2009 and were very pleased with the property! When we were looking for a place to stay, we were hesistant to book online because we had never been there and did not know anyone else who had stayed there. However, we loved it and will definitely stay again when we return to Hawaii to visit!:)

Sandia Park, NMStaying at the condos v staying at the resort
Left on 08/17/2008 for a stay in August 2008
We thought that we would be missing out by staying at the condos instead of the resort it self. But after our week long stay we feel it was just the opposite. We were able to experience the best parts of the resort (i.e. the restaurants and the beach) while enjoying the financial savings and the extra space and comfort of the condo. We particularly liked the access to the washer and drier and the 2 separate full bathrooms. The kitchen was also a feature we would not have been able to enjoy at the resort. The condo was quiet and comfortable and made for a great night of rest after a days worth of beach and sight seeing. The condo was very well maintained and we would recommend it to anyone going to North Shore.condo #147east

Though this was a very nice property, we found that the condo was not as nice as we expected. There were ants in the main bedroom (on the dresser), as well as in the kitchen. We also found that the condo was not overly kid friendly, with very high chairs, that we dangerous for our youngster to sit on. Also, there were only two chairs at the eating counter (not great for a family of 4). I am sure that this would be a great place to stay for two adults, but not a young family. The ants definitely need to be dealt with, though.

Ants are definitely a problem in Hawaii, and are very difficult to control, even trying as hard as we do. It is very important to keep all food, even crumbs, off the counters. Wiping with Windex often is a big help.

Left on 05/05/2008 for a stay in April 2008
Before our stay I read several reviews. Some were great and some were bad. Naturally I was nervous if we got a good condo or not. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of our condo. I was also worried about bugs which turned out to be no problem.

Great location overlooking the 18th hole on the golf course and a very close walk to a very protected beach site by the Turtle Bay Hotel. The only dining furniture was on the patio and since that was open to the elements, was rather dirty. But we did enjoy our meals there watching the golfers go by. The furnishings very nice, clean and comfortable. You felt like you were at home. The kitchen cookware was not desirable - old, mismatched and very used. Did not mind the BBQ location over by the pool area but since you had to use wood/charcoal we didn't bother to use. Gas would have been much more convenient. Would definitely return, maybe try a unit on the West side next time.

We came to Turtle Bay to be married, and honey moon there because we love your area. But the stay was so bad, we called off the wedding. Earth shaking construction started early each morning and continued all day, making it impossible to carry on a conversation without yelling at one another. Retreating to the back deck was ruined by noisy ground keepers with loud machinery, and drunken golf parties. We have rescheduled our wedding plans but don't know about the honey moon. We had always dreamed
of Turtle Bay. -

Beaverton, ORAwesome staff, not so clean room, huge pillows.
Left on 04/09/2008 for a stay in February 2008
Great location, generally clean, though I found a huge dead cockroach in the bathroom the first day, the towells smelled like they were moldy, and the pillows were really uncomfortable, they were huge! ...had major neck cramps every morning so ended up just sleeping without one. The manager was super nice though, I forgot my passport in the room so she had to come back to the room to let me in, saved my trip!

!47 East was our first stay at TB Estates. We were on honeymoon and after a few exhausting days in Honolulu we headed up to the NS. We checked in with the ladies at the Sugar Mill and they were both helpful and accommodating. They found that we could check in early and provided us with the appropriate gate and door keys and the appropriate instructions. The condo itself was immaculate and stocked with all of the wares on would expect. What was not expected were the beach chairs, a great add on with the wonderful beach that the resort provides. Get there early to secure a complimentary umbrella. The snorkeling is placid and provides plenty of sea life to make it exciting. Evenings were spent at the condo's lanai furnished with table and chairs and overlooking the championship golf course. Sunset cocktails at the Turtle Bay pool bar and off to Lei Leis for perfectly done seafood and ribs, all an easy walk from 147. If you are interested in a late night dip or prefer grilling to retaurants, each set of units has a tranquil pool and BBQ area for guests. Check the email on the free internet connection in the unit and relax to cable TV if your not quite ready to take advantage of the immaculate sleeping accommodations in a well appointed king bed suite. Drives to the world famous surf spots are only 15 minutes and a few more to the laid back yet bustling North Shore hub of Haleiwa town. Check out on our final day was bittersweet but seamless with a drop box at the Turtle Bay Estates office.
