Left on 04/25/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We needed to find an affordable place to stay on the North Shore that accommodated 6 adults. This fit the bill perfectly. A short jaunt to Turtle Bay for the beach and what a view. Would definitely do this again!

Very nice place, i loved this house.
but no key in keybox on arrival at late night so i had to call manager with my roaming phone & housekeeper left her tools and trashes in the living room.
And there's no sound insulation(i think all properties have same condition, not only this) - family who stayed our adjacent room in the same building shouted and struggled in the early morning(5-7am)! It was horrible!
But this house itself has very lovely bedrooms and many utensils in the kitchin. -

Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Enjoyed an excellent time at The Estates at Turtle Bay. Close to the north shore, the Polynesian Culture Center, Kualoa Ranch, and many beaches. The condo had plenty of room for 6 adults. Check-in and out were easy. We didn't spend to much time at the condo, just used it for sleeping, showering, and eating in the morning. Will be using the condo's for future trips to Oahu.

Kaneohe, HI, United StatesHard to deal with management company
Left on 01/02/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The condos we rented were nice and we had fun. Condo was not in as good a condition as the pictures. We were blamed and charged for breaking a television when management cannot prove that it was not broken before or after our stay. We stayed there for our wedding, were rarely in the condo and definitely did not break anything. We also returned all keys and were blamed for not returning them. The gate code provided did not work and we had trouble getting in and out of the parking lot. We have stayed in these vacation rentals before but will most likely not be coming back if we have to deal with the same disorganization and mismanagement.

Left on 10/11/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Somewhat disappointed in the unit - bathroom door missing, multiple handicapped features that weren't noted in the bio, kitchen 'junky', staircase wobbly (unsafe?), but gorgeous setting and amenities.

Navarre, FL, United StatesNot Recommended!
Left on 05/12/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The condo needs to be updated. The stairs in the condo were VERY dangerous and steep. The carpet is horrible. It was hot unless you kept the windows open, but then you hear all the noise from others coming and going which was LOUD. The only AC it has is a window AC and fans in the condo. The only things I liked about this condo was the beds were awesome and the couch, it had beach supplies as well.

Our stay while in Hawaii at the North Shore was amazing! The Estates at Turtle Bay is a perfect location. We were in Hawaii to attend a wedding on the Noth Shore. We loved our condo and all of its amenities and comforts. My husband, myself and our two sons were very comfortable. The boys stayed in the loft while we enjoyed the master suite all to ourselves. Being able to cook for ourselves was a plus. We weren't in a cramped hotel room being dependent on someone else to prepare your food. We are looking forward to our next trip to the North Shore and will definately be staying at the Estates.

We had a wonderful time and very relaxing. Would love to do it again soon. Condo was clean and in excellent shape. The spiral stairs could become a hazard it you didn't pay attention, other than that the place was perfect.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA, United Statesthe location is perfect.
Left on 03/14/2012 for a stay in February 2012
This is a second floor unit overlooking the fairway of Turtle Bay Golf Course. Although, you cannot see the ocean, you can hear the waves when it is quiet. The beach is a short walking distance passing through the fairway. A swimming pool is close to the next building and you have it to yourself most of the time.
Once you enter the unit, you have a bedroom with a full bath facing the parking lot and a second full bath is next to the kitchen. The loft you enter using the spiral stairway, which is narrow with steep stairs. The décor and furnishings are somewhat dated and lighting is insufficient. Internet provider is cable and the wireless network works well. In the bedroom, there is a desktop PC with printer/scanner. So it is convenient.
We enjoyed the walks on the beach and golf course and the breeze coming from the ocean. However, we did not see any turtle. As for room temperature, it was early February; we did not need to use A/C. Overall, we enjoyed the stay there. -
San Diego, CA, United States1-Star Unit Beware
Left on 02/26/2012 for a stay in February 2012
This unit was a dump. I hated it so much that I moved out the next day even though I had planned to stay 2 weeks. It was dirty (hair on the carpet), the massage chair fabric was peeling, the bathrooms and kitchen had tons of ants and badly in need of an upgrade. The property manager was nice to give me a refund but told me that the unit was a 1-star. It's not clear on the website (since it's marked with one asterisk, not a star). So beware.

Edmonton, AB, CanadaReview of Estates at Turtle Bay.
Left on 01/27/2012 for a stay in January 2012
We took a wrong turn getting there. We were told that Estates at Turtle Bay is not Turtle Bay Resort, so we drove by the entrance from the Highway to the Resort. Actually, you take the entrance, then turn left on the first side street.
The only problem was a missing drain plug in the bathtub. We had a 2-year-old who can't take showers, so it was important. It was solved by putting a plastic bag over the drain, and after sending an e-mail the manager showed up in less than a day with a plug.
When checking out, we went to the office at Kahuku. There are two offices in the same plaza, Estates at Turtle Bay and Turtle Bay Condominiums. We went to the wrong one, but they quickly directed us to the correct one. If you leave your keys in the drop box, they'll probably fix your mistake too.
Being from Canada, we are not used to the heat. (It was 23 degrees below zero when we left home.) We would have liked it if the ceiling fan over the bed blew a little faster. We couldn't find a speed setting for it.
These are all very minor issues, and we enjoyed our stay very much. -

Eugene, Oregon148 East Estates at Turtle Bay
Left on 04/20/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Overall a nice place to stay and in a good location. The only A/C is a small swamp-cooler in the living room that because of it's location on the ground in the corner only cools about 3 square feet of space. Other than that, the only air circulation is by opening the doors and from a few stand-alone circulating fans, so that was difficult.

Left on 01/01/2011 for a stay in December 2010
this condo is great and has everything a family would need to vacation in hawaii. be sure to pack light because the condo does come with everything you will need. one bad thing that would make me hesitate to stay here again...the condo has lots of ants and our kids got bitten pretty badly overnight. we are unsure what bit them because while we expected mosquitos, we bug spray them pretty well. we don't like to think that the condo has fleas but that may be the case. if you don't mind bathing in bug spray nightly then this condo is perfect in every other ways.

Salt Lake City, UtahStove issue
Left on 11/29/2010 for a stay in November 2010
The only problem we encountered was that a burner on the stove has problems. A couple of times it went to "high" regardless of the lower setting. The result was a couple of burned meals. It is most likely a worn-out heating element...or perhaps the control unit for the burner is going out. I've had a similar situation with my own stoves over the years, and know that it can usually be fixed rather inexpensively. Other than that, the unit was great!

Left on 06/08/2010 for a stay in May 2010
Overall we were very happy with the accommodation. Everything that we expected was there and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. It was great being able to use the snorkelling equipment, body board etc at the property as well as the internet. Accomodation is only a short walk to Turtle Bay beach which was great & a perfect spot to explore the North Shore from. We would definetly stay here again. Was great value for a family stay. Thank you

Peoria, AZDisappointed
Left on 05/18/2010 for a stay in May 2010
Positives - New massage chair and computer. Negatives - Roaches, Ants everywhere, Washer broke for 3 days w/no compinsation, stairs leading to loft loose and breaking, fan in master bedroom squiks and loud, 2 dogs downstairs bark at 6am every morning, next to garbage and truck that comes 3 x's a week. I've stayed at 3 other condo's here and were all WAY better then this experience. Good Luck!

Costa Mesa, CAa nice, beautiful, home-like place for families
Left on 12/31/2009 for a stay in December 2009
There are surfboards, snorkeling gears, chairs, umbrella, books, etc. almost everything you need for beaches in the has 5min walking distance to the beach, but the beach is not for surfing because of corals and, however, is perfect for snorkeling. I enjoyed watching the fish while snorkeling around the corals. I rated 4 stars for cleanness because the bed in the master bedroom was smelly, but the property generally was clean and neat.

Wahiawa, HawaiiSafety concern
Left on 12/15/2009 for a stay in November 2009
Few descrepancies that concerned us, stairwell VERY weak, shakes as going up and down, broken bed screw that collapsed as my 40lb 5 year old son slept, dirty baby bottle left in the couch, dirty trash can, very smelly with oyster shells reaking in the can. TV in the master bedroom never worked. We have stayed in other properties before and in the future I would not recommend this unit to anyone till the repairs and improvements are done. Cleanliness is very important as well.

Douglas, WYWONDRFUL NORTH SHORE CONDO
Left on 03/30/2009 for a stay in March 2009
This is an awesome place to stay if visiting the north shore of Oahu. Your only ohter choice are through Turtle Bay resort with a hotel room, cottage or villa - all way overpriced. This was such a wonderful place to stay. Very reasonably priced, lots of room and privacy in the condo, washer and dryer, full kitchen, lanai. WOW! I would defintitely stay here again.

Centerville, UTEverything was very old,...
Left on 03/20/2009 for a stay in March 2009
Everything was very old, carpet, funtiture, ect. The worst was the stairs going up to the loft, not safe, especially for toddlers. The carpet was really dirty along with layers of dust in the computer area and by the swamp cooler. We did however love the location. The beaches were immaculate. The best thing about the condo were the beds. They were very comfortable. We spent most of our time out because we didn't really feel very comfortable and relaxed in the condo.

Left on 10/28/2008 for a stay in October 2008
The only AC in this unit was not working properly. Unfortunately, only the fan settings worked and did not blow any cool/cold air. As a result, it was hot and quite uncomfortable at times. Thank goodness for the pool, which is very near. Other than that, everything else was fine and we still enjoyed our stay!

Commerce TWP, MIRoach Motel
Left on 04/09/2008 for a stay in April 2007
We would definitely use The Estates at Turtle Bay, Inc., to book another condo at Turtle Bay. However, we would not book 148 East, as it was infested with roaches. I know this is not the norm with other units at Turtle Bay, as we have stayed in two other units. The staff at The Estates at Turtle Bay were very friendly and helpful, from booking the unit through checkout.
