Ocean Air gives you the best of both Kailua town is only minutes away and Lanikai Beach and Kailua Beach park are within walking distance of this location Lanika beach and Kailua Beach have been ranked the best in the world many times .This apartment is totally separate and has a full kitchen and private outside Gazebo for grilling or relaxing year round rain or shine night or day Actually it is another living space There is a view of a very tropical yard with orchids blooming and a water fall. Lanikai is a neighborhood within Kailua Hi on Ohau that is somewhat separate with a road that is one way in and one way out. There is a 2.2 mile bike path that runs on the side of this one way road. i It is good for all kinds of activity running,walking skating,skateboarding, and family outings. The beach is good for swimming ,snorkeling,kite and wind sailing ,or sun bathing. There are several good hiking trails on the surrounding hills that once were used for lookouts during the World War II The beach at the end of the street is also a drop off point for rentals of paddle boards,kayaks,canoes you just have to make arrangements and walk to the end of Lanipo and they will meet you.

If you are searching for the perfect spot for your visit on Oahu, look no further than this one! We have just returned from Kailua and already look forward to returning! The owners obviously gave a lot of thought to what renters want and need when staying in a rental as we didn't lack for anything. Inside and out, the accommodations were perfect. When outside in the yard or gazebo, we felt like we were in our own private paradise. Just a short walk down the street was the beautiful, small beach where we watched the sunrise each day. A little further down was a pristine, larger beach where we enjoyed long walks, swimming, and relaxing in the sun. The village of Kailua offers anything and everything you could possibly want...restaurants, shopping, farmers' market, and friendly people. There was easy access to venturing out to Honolulu and all the amazing places to go on the beautiful island of Oahu. Our hosts Jenny and Lenny were so welcoming and attentive to all our needs but gave us complete privacy. Thank you for providing such a great spot for a dream vacation!

Loved the feeling of being surrounded by tropical Hawaiian foliage and flowers...plus the beautiful serene beach within walking distance. I like this so much better than the sterile condos found everywhere. Makes a vacation feel special. Owners very helpful and friendly. Clean and spacious accomodations.
