This place is located 1 minutes walk from perhaps the best beach in Hawaii. The location is quiet and private yet there is a shop/deli directly opposite which is very convenient for groceries and to get breakfast. There's also more shops nearby on the other corner of the street (kayak hire, pizza takeaway etc..) We also walked to a nearby steakhouse in Lanikai for dinner one night which was a good restaurant located within walking distance.
We stayed in the ocean room which was comfortable. We'd be happy to stay here again if we come back to Oahu and want to be Kaillua. -

Wow this was the most amazing place most amazing beach the room were very nice the kitchen was wonderful the patio with bbq was excellent. there is everything you need to have the most wonderful vacation ever. thanks

I just stayed two nights, but annia was extremely helpful and the property is on the best location. One block from the nicest beach in Oahu, and very easy access. Everything was well cleaned and airy. You will hear the sound of the waves every morning. I wont go back to any other hotel!

Location, location, location is the major asset of this nice villa. Only 2min walking to Kailua beach. Furthermore, Anna is a very kind host, very helpful and friendly which makes it easy to feel welcome. We had the pleasant Garden Room, which was clean and equipped with 2 very comfortable beds. During our 7 day stay the room fitted well for 2 adults and 2 small kids but might be a bit small for longer stays.
A few things were not as expected: the selection of dish and cutlery has been a mix of different styles and generations, e.g. had we only 2 forks but more than 10 spoons. On this price level I would have expected a bit more luxury and style. Besides the huge TV (for which we didn't had a remote until we borroughed it from the neighbor) the electronic equipment was a bit scuffed. The "garden" behind our patio was very sandy and looked untended: the kids were not able to use it as an outside playground. The condition of the BBQ station looked also not really inviting.
Nevertheless, overall we had a very nice stay and would recommend to come here.

This rental has five available rooms/suites, so is very suitable for small or large parties. The rooms are part of a well built house. My room was spacious with high ceiling, large bathroom and closet, very adequate kitchenette. The bed was excellent. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to insure that I had everything I needed. The amenities included beach equipment, on site laundry facilities, barbecue. The location is ideal, close to the beach, a market, and shops.

My husband and I stayed for over a month with ania during our move to the Island. Her hospitality was the warmest and the location perfect to make you fall in love with Kailua. I thank you ania and alex for making my transition from the mainland so much more easy.

This is a beautiful, quiet home with a private gated entrance and best location imaginable right around the corner from gorgeous Kailua Beach. We stayed in the very spacious Gardenia Room with comfortable bedding, air conditioning, private garden area, and small but well-stocked kitchenette. Very helpful, hospitable owner whose lovely paintings adorn the elegant home. A one minute walk takes you to one of the most stunning beaches in the world and absolute bliss bathing in the gentle aquamarine waters. Heaven on earth! Kailua is a wonderful small town with an abundance of great shops, natural food markets, and good restaurants. For those seeking the hustle and bustle of a large city, it is an easy 20 minute drive on the beautiful Pali Highway to Honolulu.

This vacation house was just that - a house. It was very nice and comfortable, but I prefer not to do my own housekeeping and cleaning while on vacation. In addition, the beach equipment was supplied as advertised, but in poor condition. Overall it was a nice stay, but I will not return for another visit.
