Service from SunQuest was superb. Procedure for checking in was clear and precise, and issues during our stay were dealt with immediately. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a more fantastic place to stay. The condo is beautifully furnished and well stocked with linens, kitchen needs, beach toys, and a grill (which we used often) on the lanai. The views from the lanai are amazing!! Probably my favorite feature of this unit. The location was perfect; out of the mainstream of tourist traffic, convenient to groceries, close to the shore and a nearby homebase for numerous ocean adventures. (One recommendation - the lanai screen doors are in need of replacement). I would highly recommend this location to others and hope to be able to stay there again in the future. The cost for the month was very reasonable. Thank you SunQuest for your wonderful service!!

This condo was the best condo we've stayed in. It was like walking into a Tommy Bahama store, high quality, lucious towels and bedding, tons of dishes, beautiful furniture and on top of all that a wonderful view of every sunset at an amazing price.
Can't wait to go back. -

The condo is every bit as lovely as the pictures show, with the kitchen having just about everything one could ask for.
The only thing we didn't know before renting was that there is no air conditioning in the unit and it was hot and humid with no trade winds for the 19 days we stayed!! We bought another floor/table top fan to leave at the condo for the next guests!

Liked the best: Sunsets over the ocean on the lanai
Liked the least: no air conditioning
The home was very spacious and beautifully furnished. The only exception was the bed which was uncomfortable. It also had everything you needed including chairs to sit on the beach with, salt and pepper, tinfoil, beach towels, etc. They had everything.
I loved the location. It had a delightful view of the ocean. It was near Keauhou Bay and right on the golf course.
I would recommend it to a friend because of the spaciousness of the apartment, ocean view, great location, and great price, but I would be honest with them about no air conditioning.

First time here, but 2nd time on the Big Island, we gambled on an unknown rental, encouraged by direct communication with the owners who are especially helpful & quick to respond.
All the other owners & renters were particularly friendly (they must have escaped snow) as they came from all over.
Whoever made the interior changes a few years ago did a grand job of opening up the place. Having two bathrooms for the single bedroom we never thought about until we got there & realized how much more convenient that was. The kitchen's well stocked with tools; making fresh fruit smoothies is a breeze. And eating dinner out on their patio is a total delight.
We will go back, no doubt at all.

Keauhou akahi is a quaint older complex, but well cared for and with a friendly "vibe". This particular unit is in need of some updating of furnishings, and would be well-served by removing some of the "extra" furniture and other stuff (a bazillion unneeded beach towels, etc.) The unit is a bit small and needs to have a more spacious feel. The view is very nice! Some traffic noise, but tolerable.

We loved the one-bedroom condo; it is well-appointed, quite comfortable and in a good location. There is no a/C (a bit of a surprise) but ceiling and electric fans keep it mostly cool. I wouldn't want to be there in the height of Summer though!
Great price as well make this an easy recommendation for a solo traveler or couple. -

I enjoyed my stay in this condo, it was well equipped and the condo and grounds were well kept, the complex was small and quiet. I do have some suggestions: The grill was dirty from the last folks, there was not a brush to be found anywhere to clean it so that is likely why? Also the furniture on the lanai is really uncomfortable, need some nice cushions or comfy lounger to enjoy that space more. Other than that the condo itself was very clean. The pool was clean and very nice although a bit small and missed having a hot tub. Overall for the $$ however this was a great deal and I would recommend it - the view from the lanai was really beautiful and the sunsets were fantastic. Mahalo

My first time using a vacation rental. The property was very clean and balcony view of the ocean was the highlight of this location. The property was situated overlooking the golf course. Quiet and serene and kitchen was well stocked with dishware, cookware, and grill on the balcony. Perfect!

This is a comfortable one bedroom unit with space for small child. Tasteful, quality furnishings make this a home away from home. Fully equipped with linens, towels, kitchen utensils - ready to use. The unit is alongside golf course with good ocean views and magnificent sunsets. Nearby shopping center with restaurants is walkable but a car is a must. Third floor location may be an issue for some. Our stay was enjoyable and we recommend this unit to others.

It's on a golf course, even though we don't golf. It has sweeping views of the course and the ocean beyond. It is not "resorty". It's quiet, which is what we like. The amenities were fine. It was bright and cheerful and we loved the shower. The kitchen was well stocked. What more could we ask for?

What a find! And, what a pleasant surprise. Very good value. Every appliance imaginable. View is spectacular...even better than the pictures, if you can believe it. Would go back in a heartbeat! The only changes I would make is a king-sized bed & air conditioning.
