pleasanton, caLoved this place!!
Left on 03/31/2013 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed here during Ironman Championships 2012-- this place is awesome location and easy to get around to town. Had everything you would need--all the comforts of home. I'd give it 5 stars but my only complaint was that the water pressure in the shower was very low. Outside of that-- it was perfect!!!

Casa is a wonderful and comfortable condo. The only negative is th lanai gets very warm from about 9am-12 pm. A pull down sunscreen would be nice. It is very nicely stocked. Our only disappointment was not being able to book it for Dec 2013.

This was our second time at Casa de Emdeko, but stayed in a different unit the first time. We were especially happy with #335. Great view from the Lanai. The condo is up-to-date looking and well supplied. Loved the flat screen Tv's.(Advise to future renters-Be sure you read all instructions before you even think about touching the remotes in the living room!) Hope to be able to book this unit again. Kudos to the owners for keeping their "home" so presentable, and thanks for allowing others to enjoy it. Also want to say that even though the "Casa" is older, it is very well maintained. We were happy to see the improvements to the Salt Water Pool since our last visit and really enjoyed using it. The landscaping is really nice also. When we arrived, I did notice the stairs were looking rather shabby but funny enough, before we left there were signs posted saying they were going to be updated soon. Lastly, want to say we booked through Sunquest and had a totally positive experience, as have family members who use them for the Casa also.

Our stay in #335 was fantastic. Cannot wait to get back again. View was excellent and the accomodations were superb. Unfortunately we went to Honolulu after staying in Kona - will not make that mistake again. Highly recommend #335.

Luxury means different things to different people. This is a well equipped air conditioned condo that is a baseball throw from the ocean and is affordable. To us that is what Hawaii is about and we see that as being a luxury. We appreciate that the setting is quiet and that the lanai provides for great ocean viewing from the very comfortable lounges. You can spend your time sunning, reading, watching dolphins, and dining... all from the lanai and you will definitely know that you are in Hawaii relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you will need to prepare your meals... or enjoy one of many eating opportunities within a short(5 minute) drive... or better still, as we sometimes did, join the other guests at the oceanfront bbq area and meet people from other places. The king bed is great... the living room lounge chairs are very comfortable. For those of you who must watch TV, there is one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The unit has a washer/dryer which is very handy for small loads of laundry. Wireless internet and no fee telephone calls back to the USa and Canada allowed for keeping in touch with family and some necessary business. They have beach chairs, mats, and a cooler that we were happy to use. We really enjoyed this condo and we will be back to enjoy another glass of wine as we watch/listen to the surf crashing against the shoreline and hope for a glimpse of the elusive green flash at sunset.

This is our third year in a row traveling to Hawaii, and every expectation was met. First time Sun Quest renter and the Condo was very clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever about our stay.

Property needs updating. Furnishings and decor is out of date. Property did have many extras though such as coolers, beach mats, beach towels, etc.

Los Angeles, CaliforniaFirst time visit to Casa de Emdeko
Left on 08/19/2009 for a stay in August 2009
We were very pleased by our condo at Casa de Emdeko. It looked great on-
line, but even better in person!
The condo was spotlessly clean, there were several nice "starter" items and
the condo looked very updated and well cared for.
We loved the location, and the "history" of the complex. It had a nice
community feel that you could participate in if you wanted. We didn't want
that this visit, and that was fine - we had our privacy.
The best things about this condo were the beautiful view from the spacious
balcony, and the fabulous salt water pool.
The worst thing about the condo - and this is sheer laziness on my part -
was all of the stairs! Everything else was great. Thank you! We are looking
forward to staying at Casa de Emdeko again next year!
