MassachusettsWonderful views!

The condo was right on the ocean, and conveniently located a couple minute drive or bike ride from downtown Kona. Very comfortable, with a beautiful porch looking out over the ocean. We ended up eating most of our meals out there.

Murrieta, CALovely view from the lanai, to takes your breath away.

Very nice rental. Again, the view is lovely. It has everything one would need for a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, curtains need to be updated, they're nice room darkening however the sea air is tortuous on them, therefore very difficult to open and close, one would cringe thinking the whole curtain, rod and ceiling might fall down on you, so be super gentle when opening and closing, Staff on site at Bali Kai are all very nice and helpful and once again, staff at Sunquest goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. Pool is ok, but hardly receives any sun because it is in the center of the complex (buildings), think Embassy Suites, kind of strange. And I sure wish a no smoking property would be just that because being on the 2nd floor, it's hard to enjoy the fabulous lanai when the smokers are allowed to smoke on the coastline right beneath you, it drove me off the balcony everytime because of my compromised health. But really aside from the few complaints, the place is quite lovely and very comfortable.

Kincardine, Ontario, CanadaBeautiful location but ...

This is the third time I have stayed at the Kona Bali Kia. The location is fantastic, right on the ocean front. You can sit on the lani and watch sea turtles poking their heads above the waves, and also watch a group of surfers making the most of the waves.
The Kona Bali Kia complex is not new and is starting to show its age, although the general areas were always well kept.
All three condos I have stayed in have been very similar and we are happy to come back. However #206 did feel like it had not been used much. Taps were stiff and some light bulbs burnt out. Also the kitchen sink developed a leak and the owner had disconnected the phone. (Also the TV is on its last legs, if you want to watch TV with an ocean view like this.) Had to get maintenance out twice to address issues, and the phone was never connected.
