Denver, ColoradoCute, Cozy and Clean Place with Wonderful Ocean View
Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in October 2012
Na Hale O Keauhou #N1 was absolutely nice, clean, and quiet place. The unit seems to be profesionally decorated which made it very comfortable. It was not a huge place but 7 of us (6 adults + 1 toddler) stayed here very comfortably for a week. We actually really liked being all in a small sitting area. We came here to be together and not sit in different corners, so it worked very well for us. The ocean view is fantastic from downstairs and upstairs. Because each bedroom has own bathroom, the place offers privacy as well. The master bathroom was the best part of the unit, with walk-in shower and big tub. There were plenty of clean towels in each bathroom. The property owner Fran was very quick to respond to emails and helpful and nice when I asked questions (and I asked many questions). The rental office staff were very freindly as well. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The unit is 5-7 min walking distance to the grocery stores and some restaurants, 5 min drive to Magic sand beach, about 10 min drive to Kona down town, 15 min drive to the airport. Overall I would absolutely recommend this place to stay and relax on Big Island :) Thank you Fran and the team!!!

What a beautiful property and well maintained. Kitchen was extremely well stocked even for creating a christmas dinner for 12. Beds were comfortable and everything very clean. Only minor inconveniences were that the freezer didn't get cold enough to keep things frozen or make ice, one phone did not work and the drier took forever to dry a load of clothes.Would defiunely come back again!

We highly recommend this home! The 3 beautiful bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms made it very comfortable for 2 couples and kids. The kitchen is well equipped with state of the art appliances and all of the extras. We loved dining on the patio with the beautiful ocean view. The location was close to beaches. local grocery store and restaurants. Perfect! We loved having breakfast and snacks, and some dinners at 'home' every day. The home is stocked with books and games for everyone. This home also offers an attached one car garage where past guests have left toys, snorkles, beach mats and other fun things. We were happy to make use of the goods and were able to leave some boogie boards for the next guests! If you stay here, please take good care. We want to return next year!

While this complex is nondescript and could be located in anytown USa, there is no better place in Kona. Quiet complex, quite a few residents, gated, nice pool, close to shopping & highway, and did I mention the unobstructed ocean view?

Left on 07/08/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Location is very nice for the Kona side of the island as it is away from the toursit traffic of Kona but still within easy reach of all that Kona has to offer. Enjoyed sunsets from the lanai and using the pool and hot tub facilities each evening. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated for 6 people with 3 private bedrooms and bathrooms.

This will be our third year staying in unit N1. Every year we have received great service from the very nice staff at Sunquest who have been very helpful with anything we may have needed. The condo is lovely with a great ocean view and lots of space. The only negative point I would mention is that this year there seemed to be a lot of ants in and around the whole property. There were numerous ant traps placed around the condo which I noticed immediately upon arrival which were never there in previous years.

Great location and a super nice condo. Only negative I can think of were the small itty bitty ants that would swarm any crumb that was left anywhere (just a good reason to keep it clean and store things in the fridge). Sunquest was super easy to work with an I got my deposit back just like they said 14 days later... I actually rented #N1 & #N4 and N1 was probably decorated nicer and had 3 full baths but no grill while #N4 had a better lanai with a great view and a grill and larger living area but only 2.5 baths. The N building is probably one of the best buildings in the complex for views. It's about a 5 mile walk to downtown Kona- a little far for walking but there is a grocery store a lot closer that is an easy walk.

When I booked Na Hale O Keauhou N1 I was a little nervous because of wishing we were right on the water, but on arrival was blown away by the views from all the windows. The unit is beautiful and well equipped for all your needs. Extra things for the beach in the garage which came in handy. We had hoped to find a full size bbq but they have provided a table top grill if needed. One complaint was the bamboo window coverings in the bedrooms do not provide privacy at night, so you had to be conscience of not walking in front of them if not properly attired. The grounds are beautifully maintained and pool though small was wonderful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you for letting us vacation in your unit!!!

The staff at SunQuest could not have made arranging our vacation easier!
The condo was gorgeous. All the comforts of home...in paradise. The kitchen has all the utensils we needed for every meal. The whole condo was decorated beautifully. We were so pleased with our stay at Na Hale O Keauhou #N1!
It was my first trip to the Big Island, and when I go back, I definitely want to stay here again! -

The condo was incredible! Just a 2 minute drive to the best snorkel beach-Kahaluu beach park, and several other popular locations. It was like living in a model home. Other than the centipede my daughter found in her bathroom, it was a great place to stay, would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island!!!

This is an amazing newer townhome in the Keauhou area about 5 miles south of Kona. We felt like we were staying in a model home. The sunset views, central aC, furnishings, clubhouse/pool were awesome. Great value for what you get. Renters need to know that it is not near downtown Kona but about 5-6 miles south. Also, it is not on the beach but an easy walking distance. We will definitely stay here again when we return!

We've stayed at this unit before, and it is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. Like the fact that it's a townhome and you don't have people walking around upstairs. We like to prepare some meals and the kitchen is well stocked. It's not on the ocean, but the sunset views of the ocean are fantastic. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a bbq grill on the lanai! We will be back!

Geldrop, the NetherlandsExcellent condo in Kona
Left on 08/08/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We have had a very good stay in this condo. Actually, we are returning customers. We also stayed here in summer 2007. The condo is very comfortable, with excellent bed- and bath-rooms, a comfortable living room and a complete kitchen. Good value! The condo is well maintained and was well cleaned.
During our stay the park was quiet. This made the condo actually more feel like a home.
The location makes this a good base for activities and day trips: snorkling, vulcanoes, shopping. A car is needed to do all this. The park has a (small) swiming pool.
We booked the condo via Sunquest Vacations in Kona. The handling of the reservation was professional and correct, including the contract, the charging of credit card, and refund of the deposit. -

We wish we got to stay here for our whole 10 day stay on the Big Island, but we were only able to book 4 days of our stay. We got a great deal because they were trying to fill in the gaps in July.
This is a unremarkable home with the finest. From the furnishings and amenities, I literally felt like I was in a fully upgraded model home. The views of the ocean and sunset are absolutely amazing! It was so hard for us to leave and if we ever do visit again will for sure stay again! Love, love loved it! -

Left on 07/31/2010 for a stay in June 2010
We had difficulty checking in as it was not clearly stated that the key had to be obtained from the SunQuest office which was miles away - given we are from New Zealand and not familiar with the area, we had to walk to shopping centre to get another cab to get the key from the box in the unmanned office.

Left on 08/19/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Loved the condo. Just as it was described. Sunquest staff very friendly and helpful. Location very good. (Oceanview, but not quite walking distance to beach. Great with renting a bike or scooter/moped). But also a great location to homebase to explore the rest of the island. (Put 1000 miles on our rental car.) Everyone loved their accomodations. We stocked up at Costco & Walmart for groceries and saved lots by fixing out own meals/packing a cooler for excursions. The only "down side": We would have enjoyed a full-size barbecue grill and some of the community "rules" caught us unaware (nothing allowed outside, like wet shoes at the door; scooter wouldn't trip the automatic gate to open, so someone complained when it was walked through the smaller gate.) But would definitely stay here again. Very quiet and well-kept area. Felt very safe here. Truly paradise.
