Located on the 3rd floor this 1 bed 1 bath unit has fantastic ocean views from it's cozy and private lanai. Take a dip in one of the two swimming pools on the property, then come back and relax with the comfortable central air-conditioning and tropical furnishings. I could not have received any better service!! From the first call I made & talked with Mickie (not sure how she spells her name), until the day we had to leave, she was such a blessing.
What started out as a very unpleasant vacation turned out to be one of the best thanks to SunQuest. I wish I would have booked with them to begin with. Even though it was last minute when I called Mickie found a place for my family that was perfect.
So thank you Mickie & SunQuest for listening to our needs & making the last few days of our vacation so wonderful. -

Since I asked to SunQuest Vacations to place the key into the room, delivery was smooth.
About the room:
Since the morning sun was dazzling, I wanted the shade.
Nice ocean view from the balcony, well equipped kitchen, clean bathtub, they were perfect.
About the location:
Very convenient to go to Kona-Town, Keauhou Shopping Center, or Kahaluu Beach Park, since the Hele-on bus stop is located just in front of this condo.
About what I like:
Big lanai and barbecue coner has a special role as places which makes you easy to contact with guests or owners.
If you speak to them positively, you will be able to get many wonderful friends.
In that meaning, this condominium is special.

We really did not receive any service from anyone.
The condo was average. We felt it was a little dated and needed painted badly in the bathroom area, some of the paint was peeling. The condo also was not as clean as I would expect. When we arrived the bathroom sink still had hair on the counters and the floors were not very clean. There were also cob-webs on the bedroom walls. The mattress on the bed needs replaced, too soft. Our backs were bothering us from the soft mattress. There is a window in the bedroom area that has a very sheer curtain on it. The lights from the hallway outside were bothersome as the room was not dark enough. Maybe a room darkening shade would be the answer.
The lights over the bathroom sink were bright enough but a makeup mirror is needed. A lighted,magnifying mirror would be wonderful in the bathroom. Another big issue we had was that there were no scissors in the unit. We had to buy a new camera and everything is sealed up in plastic. My husband had to use a steak knife to open the packaging. The condo should also have a little dust buster available for use.
When talking to some other rents at the pool, they had access to the washer & dryer in their units. Why was the washer & dryer locked up in our unit? I maybe did 4 loads of wash for the 11 nights we stayed. Just the convenience of the washer and dryer in the unit would have been wonderful.
The location of Casa De Emdeko is very good. We did use the swimming pool and the beach chairs on the sandy area. We felt the place in general is a little run down. The stairways and stairs need painted badly. When we arrived the elevator was not working and with our room being on the third floor that was a hassle bringing in our luggage up three flights of stairs.
We liked the balcony the best. We had our coffee out there every morning and enjoyed listening to the ocean. -

We really enjoyed this condo at the Casa de Emdeko. It was immaculately clean, extremely spacious and well equipped. We appreciated the use of all the snorkeling equipment. We can't say much about the Casa resort itself because we didn't spend much time at the resort, but the grounds and pool seemed well maintained. Nice ocean view!

I've been staying at the Casa for eight years, that should say it all.
The folks at Sunquest really deliver!
I am always surprised how peaceful the complex is and enjoy that it is situated on a point that makes you feel like there are no other condos around.
Room 334: I had to hang a blanket across the bedroom window as the security lights make you think that it is noon at midnight.
That was a minor thing. -

When we picked up our keys (from the office) we were treated very well by pleasant, helpful staff.
The condo was great! When we arrived we were very pleased to find a clean, nicely furnished and convenient-well equipped condo.
The location is perfect for watching beautiful sunsets and the pools were excellent.
We liked everything about our stay and have nothing but positive comments to make!
