CaliforniaSun Quest was horrible
Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in February 2013
I will never use Sun Quest again to book a vacation. They cancelled my reservation with no notice and I only found out about it one week before we were to arrive in Hawaii. When I called to inquire about my reservation, "Amy" was no help whatsoever and could not care less about customer service. Her response was a "Nope, can't help you."
I can't comment on White Sands Village as we found accommodations at a different resort.Response from SunQuest Vacations - 03/15/2013

Thank you for taking the time to post the review. I have looked into your reservation, and we did communicate with you by email on 3 separate occasions. 2 emails were sent with your initial paperwork, and a 3rd email was sent notifying you that the reservation was cancelled. I do see that you made the reservation online and that initial confirmation does tell you that the reservation isn't confirmed until you receive follow up paperwork from our office.
I am sorry to hear that Amy was not able to assist you and that she came across not caring. We do strive to have excellent customer service and will strive to do better in the future.

We stayed here for a week New Year's 2012. Nice, clean & well-maintained condo. Sunquest needs to simplify their after-hours check-in process; confusing. Location was good as beach is across street; away from downtown Kona. Condo had everything we needed except for toaster. Nice to have enough towels & lawn chairs for the beach. Washer & dryer helped alot. We left 2 boogie boards for renters/owners. Thanks.

Great rental. Plenty of space for 4 adults and one child. The kitchen had all the supplies/appliances needed to cook often in the condo. The pool was very nice and there is a nice beach across the street. View of the pool from this condo. It was very convenient to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Great location for the Ironman, as the run course goes by the condo.
The village is nice, but somewhat old. The elevator didn't work, which made bringing luggage to the room somewhat difficult. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
