The comminucations about the rental, key pick up and check-out were all simple and easy. The staff at SQ were helpful and friendly. The apartment was very well appointed with virtually all new equipment and spotlessly clean. It was tastefully and comfortably decorated and furnished. It was ideally located right on the ocean. However, the waves crashing all night do make quite a noise which may disturb some people. We loved the size, space and amenities of the appointment. Minor point: it lacked wifi (which would have been useful). The location was great if you don't mind the noise of crashing waves. Also you are right in the hustle and bustle of the alii Drive action - great for some people, but others may prefer somewhere a bit more peaceful.

Although the condo was abit dated and bedroom window wouldn;t shut, overall the condo was clean and met our needs. The ocean was right in front and the sounds of waves crashing was wonderful.

The condominium was very well appointed, very clean, and comfortable. The swimming pool is great, but with the ocean so close by we didn't actually use the pool.
However, the best attribute of Kona Ali'i No. 302 is its location. It is centrally located on Ali'i Drive, which is the main street running up and down the coast, from north Kailua-Kona to several miles south. Within minutes of walking, you are in the heart of the shops and the outdoor market.
Sunquest was able to assist us with reservatons in Hilo, and was very responsive to other requests we had during our stay.
