This unit was absolutely gorgeous!! Our family of 5 fit perfectly in this unit with plenty of space. The blowup mattress in the front room was great for my son - and the kids loved hiding away in their room watching TV in the evenings. The view was spectacular from the lanai - we enjoyed eating dinner out there every night watching the sunset and the birds!! Location was great - kids walked to the pool and across the street to the beach to snorkel. The master bedroom was very comfortable. Decor throughout the unit was beautiful - loved the classy island feel!!
All in all - this unit it top notch!! You won't find a better quality unit in Kona - especially with a/C so close to the beach, which was a must for my husband!!
Only request - maybe a couple beach chairs - other than that, this unit has everything your family will need!! We can't wait to come back again!! -

We stayed at this lovely place & really enjoyed how private it was in comparison to other places we stayed. It was very clean, modern, spacious & the view from the lanai was breathtaking. This condo is a little ways out of the center of town (about 10 minute drive), which can be a good or a bad thing depending on what you like, but we enjoyed the drive there & to town each day.

We were smiling the second we walked in the condo! It was clean and fresh. The kitchen is beautiful and the bathrooms are as well. Teh location is perfect because we could walk to the best snorkling beach in town. I was there to race the Ironman and it was great because it was easy to access the venue but far enough away to give me peace. We'd love to go back someday!

This is a great place to be in Kailua. Walking distance to surfing and snorkeling. The condo is very comfortable and we enjoyed watching the sunset in the evening on the lanai.

This newer condo was clean, well equipped, a great value. Had a small problem with the TV service, call abbey for help and literally within 5 minutes had someone at the door who was able to resolve the problem.

The condo was fantastic: top notch trim, very comfortable and well equipped. The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing views of ocean and mountain, close enough to the beach to hear the waves even with the windows closed. The whole facility looks to be only a couple of years old and is well maintained: pool, hot tub, and landscaping in excellent condition. The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway and a home-away-from-home feeling. Although there are both shopping and restaurants nearby, it is a good 4-5 miles into downtown Kailua-Kona, so bear this in mind if being in the midst of the tourisy areas is important to you. Kahaluu beach park with the best snorkling on the island is literally across the street, while White Sands beach with softer sand and better surf is only 1 1/2 miles up the road with ample parking (if you get there before about 11am). Our only complaint was that upon arrival the lockbox was set to the wrong code. Since you have to check in after 4, and abbey's office closes at 4, we had to call their "emergency" line. After nearly an hour and three calls to this line while our groceries melted in the back of the car we received no call back. Someone finally came a little over an hour after the first call, apologized, reset the lockbox, and gave us a bottle of wine. I imagine this is pretty fast by Hawaii standards, but it would have been nice to at least get a call back to let us know when someone would be coming as we were left with visions of spending the night in the parking lot. Not the nicest thing to be faced with after a day of travel. I am sure, however, that this was not a typical problem, and someone did call the next day to apologize. This event would not deter us from renting the place again, as after the initial mix-up we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We returned to this complex over Christmas, and enjoyed everything once again. Minor problems (vacuum missing, possible a/C issue) resolved quickly and fully. Excellent location near all necessities- unit fairly spare (3 towels, no "noodles", flippers/masks, poor knives(again!)), but we felt very much at home and would definitely stay in this location again. Abbey does a great job!

The Condo is great! Very clean and comfortable. Quiet location and convenient for beach and snorkeling. Lovely lanaii with view of the water for peaceful vistas. Elevator made it easy to trek supplies, gear, etc... Very convenient and close to supermarket for groceries. Fully equiped, full sized kitchen. We would definately rent this condo again.
