We stayed here for two weeks. We have spent several vacations on the big island and this was our favorite place to stay so far. We like where this condo complex is located, on the ocean, pool by the ocean, lots of places to go for a walk and conveniently located for shopping or getting back into Kailua-Kona. The condo is nicely maintained, has a well equiped kitchen and all the beach things you do not want to buy such as a cooler, beach mats, etc. The lanai is beautiful and has a great view on to the golf course.
The wifi worked well and was included, as was the aC though we rarely used it. The bed was great. When the fridge was not working properly, Scott got it fixed immediately. My only suggestion is that they get fresh beach towels. -

We thoroughly enjoyed the aloha ambience at Kanaloa condo #1002. The outlook from every window gave us views of lush foliage, flowers, lawns, and palm trees. Sitting on the spacious lanai we saw colorful birds and heard exotic birdcalls. The ocean is steps away with fantastic sunsets every evening. The interior of the unit was attractive and comfortable with all the essential supplies. The resort amenities include several swimming pools, tennis courts, hot tubs, and a concierge to help plan activiies. We will be back!

Easy to negotiate reservcation, payment and checkin. No mailing of keys back and forth - yeah. Included aC was a godsend. I have stayed in this complex in 2 other condos and will return to this one. Clean, nice set up, scuba stuff there to use, beach towels, coffee grinder etc there were 3 of us and felt like great space. No laundry detergent or ice maker but worked around both. Nicest flooring yet and the partial ocean view was fabulous. Pools are in great condition, really nice since the update on them, could not ask for more. We grilled out on the immaculate gas grill - we only wish we had more than 10 nights there. Highly recommend this condo - owner easy to work with, location great, AC is a total plus. Mahalo!

My husband and I spent a fabulously relaxing week at Kanoloa at Kona #1002. We had breakfast on the patio that faces the golf course every morning to plan our day. The location is close to one of the best snorkeling beaches and is an easy drive to all Kona locations. This condo is clean and well equipped with everything you need for a fantastic vacation. We enjoyed all the pools on the grounds and especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach-side pool. Scott was a pleasure to deal with. We look forward to booking again next year.

One of the most enjoyable visits we have experienced anywhere in our world travels. The location for ocean lovers and golfers is ideal! Clean. Spacious. Comfortable beds and living area. Wonderful kitchen. Pools. Hot tubs. Could not be a more wonderful rental for a wonderful holiday.

Just to add, we've made a number of improvements since Tom's stay in early 2010--all new lanai tile, bathroom updates, new king bed mattress, various new kitchen things. And fresh paint--it's all looking really nice.

A big break from winter in Midwest, peaceful and restful, a great place to relax and enjoy life after a year of normal. The condo is a place of paradise, no worries about anything, no distractions, just beauty and calm. The unit is very comfortable and really feels like home!

We stayed at this condo for one week. We especially enjoyed the location. We liked the ground level and small building even though it was part of a large complex. The proximity to shopping and the ocean was convenient. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely experience at the Kanaloa condo. It is spacious, clean and accommodated our two adult sons on fold out couches, our Mom and sister in the spare room and the two of us. The location is convenient and quiet. The pools are great; we even cooked burgers on the grill one day. The kitchen is completely user friendly, and we ate in with no hassle. We were able to do a few loads of wash, which was nice as well. The beaches are nearby, along with restaurants. We were all very comfortable and impressed with our lodging in Kona, and the price was fair and affordable.

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) stayed for a week; we are frequent travelers to Kona, moslty to dive and relax. We like being away from the crowds and traffic. There was convenient grocery store and other shopping; the unit had alot of supplies for tennis, snorkelling, frisbee and games. Scott, owner, was very helpful in advising re: beaches and other activities. Check in was a breeze, the parking close, the unit spotless and everything worked. We had plenty of room and were quite comfortable. Would love to stay again, and a definite yes to friends and family.

Check in was a breeze since this is a privately owned unit. The location on this condo within the development couldn't have been much better. Covered parking is very close. The lanai overlooks the golf course and the unit is very close to the oceanside pool which is fabulous. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. This unit is very well equipped. The location of the development is awesome...close enough to downtown to go have a great dinner or visit the Kona Brewing Company but far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the Islands. I would have no hesitations in recommending this condo to anyone and I look forward to our next visit.
