We stayed at this well appointed unit for 2 months this year. It was extremely clean and well maintained indoors and outdoors. Any needs were attended to at once, with no question, by Hawaii Sunset Real Estate, the management company. While we were there our carpets were cleaned and new window coverings installed in front living area. Only things we felt were missing were a safe to store our passports, valuables in and a phone for local calling or for an emergency .

The service was good, The condo we liked very much, close to shopping, The pools were close by and location on golf course was great and very entertaining. The best thing was the location and being on a ground floor unit. The least thing we did not like was that we had no greeting from the Hawaii Sunset coming or going unless we called them.

I stayed in this unit for 5 weeks last spring after viewing many other properties. I was looking for a place where I could rest and regenerate so quiet, clean and peaceful were high on my list of requirements. Kanaloa and unit 1102, in particular, exceeded my expectations. The rooms and the lanai are spacious, well decorated and clean. The lanai is private and the well equipped kitchen made cooking in a pleasure. Shops, a grocery store, drug store and restaurants are within walking distance.
Don from Hawaii Sunset Real Estate was easy to work with and very responsive to any requests. I particularly enjoyed having a choice of 3 swimming pools and a BBQ steps away from the condo. I've been vacationing in Kona almost every year for 15 years and this property is the best I've stayed at. -

The condo was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. The view was beautiful and the surroundings were lush as well as peaceful. Had pools in various locations that were relaxing and had great views. The staff were very accommodating and stores/restaurants were close by. Easy drives to beaches, airport, volcano sites, and other major tourist areas. Well worth renting this beautiful condo.

Kanaloa 1102 was our introduction to our first visit to Kona. The complex itself said quiet elegance with everything we could possibly want! The unit echoed the quiet elegant theme. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could possibly need, the bed comfortable and everything very clean. We will come back at the first opportunity.

This condo was by far the nicest and cleanest property we have ever stayed at on all the islands of Hawaii. It was very tastefully furnished and had everything we needed including beach chairs, mats, beach towels and boogie board. Don was very accommodating and always answered when we had questions or needed help. I highly recommend Kanaloa 1102. You will have a magnificent experience.

After searching online through all of the condo rentals in the Kona area I was thrilled with our choice of Kanaloa 1102! So were my two teenage boys! It was the perfect location to stay for our visit to the Big Island. After driving around quite a bit I would never stay anywhere else near Kona! So peaceful & beautiful. The condo is very relaxing, comfortable and safe. Plenty of room to spread out & I loved the two lanais. The beach chairs, boogie board and beach towels came in very handy - a great bonus! The staff at the Kanaloa is very professional and helpful - definitely see Kass in the main office to set up activities!
I also loved how close the complex is to the grocery and drug store! The cove right near the condo has great snorkeling & sea turtles and the marina for the night manta ray adventure is just walking distance! The condo is also close to Kealakekua Bay/Captain Cook for the best snorkeling of your life!
Don and Nancy were terrific property managers to work with and I would highly recommend this condo to anyone! You will love Kanaloa 1102!

This condo is located in the most beautiful part of Kona. The grounds are spectacular and beautifully maintained. We enjoyed sitting out by the ocean pool listening to the sound of the ocean and the birds. The condo is well maintained and has everything you need for your stay. Don was a wonderful host and provided all the information we needed to know about the island. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will be back again.
