EdmontonNeeds to be cleaned up.
Left on 03/13/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Love the location, but the previous review said it all. I bet they were the ones who supplied the salt and pepper (Thank you!). They are selling this place anyway, so maybe that is why the place is not kept as well as it should. The loft is stinkin' hot. My daughter had a tough time remaining asleep. Because this suite was not part of Outrigger's at Kanaloa, we did not get the same service. That was not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have as safe box for our valuables. That was a huge inconvenience. A kitchen cloth would have been nice to wipe the tables after a meal. As the Calgary reviewer said, just a few extra things would make it better. Haven't had to buy my own toilet paper since I backpacking days. Kinda odd not to provide enough, but if that brought down the price of rental I suppose it was worth it. Shopping for toilet paper did not make me feel like I was on holidays. Oh well... on a positive note, when I reported something to be fixed, it got fixed immediately. That I like.

Calgary, CanadaUnit 1303 needs some TLC and major updating
Left on 01/21/2013 for a stay in January 2013
My family of 6 adults and 2 children stayed in unit 1303 for the first 2 weeks of January. The complex is beautiful and the garden areas, pools and tennis courts are very well maintained. As for Unit 1303, a trip to Target to spend a few hundred dollars would make things much better. There have been numerous entries in the communication book, but obviously no one reads it. Only 2 out of 3 televisions work, The only one that did work was at least 15 years old, half the light bulbs are burned out, the outside sink/kitchen area on the lanai were absolutely filthy. There was no fly swatter, no broom, no dustpan, a broken wine opener, terrible knives, no cleaning supplies to upkeep the place for the time we were there. ( I refused to buy cleaning supplies while on holiday.) We had a total of 3 rolls of toilet paper for 6 adults, no salt and pepper shakers. In the storage shed, we were promised some beach supplies. 2 out of 6 lawn chairs were broken, the cooler was broken and the childrens toys consisted of 1 broken bucket, and 2 small shovels. As well as the main fan in the living room did not work. We were promised that someone would come and fix it, but no one did come back. As well, when we arrived we were greeted by a huge centipede that we had to trap before going to bed. The unit just needs some TLC to make it more user friendly. Even a trip to the aBC store to buy some fun Hawaiian pot holders, S & P shakers etc., and children's sand toys. I would not recommend this unit until it was updated. It seems that no one has even looked at the state of the supplies for years. It was so dark in the unit we had to take the lampshades off to get some light to sit at the table. There was no effort at all to update anything that previous travellers had written in the book. Spend some of the rent money and put some effort into it.

San DiegoQuiet and Spacious
Left on 01/04/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We stayed here for six nights. Nice location, close to beach and shopping. It's quiet, spacious and comfortable, has everything we need. Beautiful view from lanais. The complex has nice ocean pool, great for sunset, pool-side grill is clean and convenient. But there are a few issues: no air conditioning although it's been really hot inside (actually there seems to be aC unit but locked, maybe it's winter?); Need better lighting overall, especially in dining area, we felt bad dining in dark; The upstair attic is too hot to sleep in, no window, and too bright in early morning (at 5am); Although the repair came to fix the toilet, it still kept flushing, so we had to turn it off for evenings. Otherwise it's a great condo.

Lovely. Watched the sunrise from living room lanai with view of golf course and Mauna Kea , and the sunsets from the master bedroom lanai with a view of the ocean. Wonderful. Lots of amenities, but were not able to make use of them: too busy adventuring. Great location. Condo was well equipped. Free Wi-Fi appreciated. Loft bedroom not suitable for children:should have queen or king bed and twin beds in downstairs smaller bedroom.Lighting needed in dining area. Condo was spacious and comfy. Perfect for 5 or 6 guests.

Goslar (Germany)Nice and clean Condo
Left on 10/28/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We (4 Germans) visited this Condo during the Ironman week and found a very spacious condo in a perfect environment. The nicest thing was our Lanai with wonderful mountain views; we found this much more interesting than the ocean views. Breakfast or dinner there was so amazing. Nearby there was a BBQ which was shared with the neighbors. This was also clean and not at all busy. The only issue that requires criticism is the upper bedroom which has no windows to open. It is almost impossible to sleep there, because it gets too hot. Nevertheless, great condo which I would chose again...
Ps not suited for handicapped, because of steep stairs

We rented this condo as a one bedroom. This unit is in a quiet location with easy access from the parking spot. Comfortable king bed and good shower. We enjoyed the lanai overlooking the golf course and the easy to use Wifi. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Avondale, ArizonaVery Nice
Left on 03/23/2012 for a stay in March 2012
This was a very nice condo. We had 2 couples stay and it was the perfect size. We did not use the upper floor with a third bedroom. Nice clean, new grill available on the grassy area just outside made it very convenient. We especially liked the "quiet" pool that was just a short walk from our front door. Beautifully kept grounds and friendly staff. No problems at all.

North Saanich BC CanadaWhat a Great Place
Left on 03/15/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10day stay in this condo .not only is the condo spacious and comfortably furnished it has great views from the lanai onto the golf course but is only a few minutes work to the waterfront and great sunset views . The complex itself was to us located in by far the nicest part of South kona in a quiet residential area , easy access to shopping and beautiful pools on the property. It should be noted that while the complex is on the water swimming beaches are a short drive away.

Windsor, Ontario2 weeks of relaxation
Left on 02/09/2012 for a stay in January 2012
The best thing we did was to rent this condo. This place was very clean and spacious. A very quiet and relaxing place. Eating breakfast on the lania in the morning was most enjoyable. It is nice when everything you need is at your finger tips. Seaside pool is an amazing place to just kick back and enjoy. Dolphins and whales are often seen from this pool. This is a definate must redo.

Kodiak, AlaskaBeautiful, relaxing, spacious condo in great complex
Left on 01/03/2012 for a stay in December 2011
This condo was a wonderful place for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids). As the owner of an Ocean Bay B&B; in Kodiak, Alaska, I appreciated the comfort and amenities of this special condo. The beds were comfortable, the unit was well-appointed and we especially loved the spaciousness and the two lanai's. We ended up eating in more than we thought because we liked being at the condo so much. The Kanaloa condo complex is lovely with lots of activities to choose from and was a quiet, safe, beautiful place to call home for a few days.

Working with Don at Hawaii Sunset Real Estate made planning our vacation very simple. We enjoyed the home and it's beautiful views from both lanais. The whole property is immaculately kept and the landscaping is beautiful. The pool areas are very comfortable and beautifully maintained. This condo has been recently redone and is good for a family. It is a great place to go for a very relaxing vacation.
