Located in Kona Isle Condominiums. One bedroom, one bath condo on 2nd floor of small 75 unit complex. Beautiful garden/ocean view from lanai. Fully stocked with all conveniences. Nice pool and barbecue area on west facing shore which is wonderful for watching sunsets, dolphins and passing outrigger canoes. Onsite free parking. Great location for exploring the Big Island of Hawaii.

Located 20 minutes from Kona Airport, Kona Isle is just two miles south of downtown Kailua-Kona where you will find many shops and restaurants. It is one mile north of White Sands beach, a beautiful spot for swimming, and Kahaluu State Beach, one of the most amazing snorkel beaches on the Island. Ali'i Drive is a mecca of beautiful beachfront condos and resorts with many little hidden public beach areas to explore, yet it retains it's charm and small town atmosphere.

After a much deserved vaca, I decided to stay at Kona Isle. It was a homey condo that had everything! Books, ice box, sunscreen, lotion, blankets, anything you needed was there. It was clean (a huge plus) and spacious. I think if you want to take a nice walk to town it is doable but not if you plan on knocking a few back. If you have maybe a party of 4 it would be ok as the couch has a bed and the bedroom is a good size. But no more than that.
All in all, I don't think you would have any regets staying here except when you had to leave. -

We visit the Big Island every year and usually stay at Kona Isle, C-22. The location is wonderful, on the Kai side of alii Drive and 2 miles south of the busy traffic of central Kona. Close but not too close. The Kona Isle grounds are immaculate. There is a pool, "beach", open space, and ocean.

close to everything, beautiful ocean front lounging area, perfect for watching the sunset.also nice barbeque area and pool. condo is clean and comfortable.
