2 Couples 1st time in Kona
Seattle, WAAhh, Kona Condo sunsets
Left on 05/15/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Sea Village 4207 was a wonderful choice. It was our first time to the Big Island and first time with Vrbo. The condo is nicely furnished and decorated. The beds were comfy. We didn't need aC as it only got too hot when we used the oven. The sunsets from the deck were amazing every night. The location was perfect for heading out on day trips or popping into Kona for shopping, food or local music any night of the week. There was remodeling going on in the complex but it was never too noisy and the hours were reasonable. The only complaint was that some of the things Vrbo said were provided were not. They were all easy enough to pick up at the store though (TP, laundry soap). We wished there had been some basic spices for cooking but we made do. All in all it was a great location, clean and comfortable, and a good value. All arrangements including the rental car was handled swiftly, making it easy to relax and not worry about those kinds of details. Snorkeling was best at Honaunau (2 Step) Beach about 20 miles south. We lucked out and got to swim with dolphins there. Hapuna Beach a little north was also awesome (rated top 10). Another great beach we kept hearing about was on the HWY north from Kona;turn left at the Veteran Cemetery sign on the right. We went to Hawi for trinket shopping; ATV outfitters for seeing the countryside from sealevel to 2500ft; LavaRoy's for seeing the lava flowing into the sea from about 15ft away; Neptune Charlies for what turned out to be whale watching instead of dolphins but we have a life time rain check. I guess we'll be coming back!

Appleton, WisconsinGreat waterfront condo
Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We enjoyed our week in Kona at this lovely, well maintained condo. It was in a very convenient location, close to shopping, dining. The only complaint we had was with the understocked kitchen. There were too few place servings, wine glasses, etc. We have stayed in condos all over the world and have come to enjoy a well fitted kitchen...other than that, it had comfortable furniture & beds & came equipped with many beautiful sunsets!!!

Roberts Creek B.C. Canadalocation location location!
Left on 02/12/2013 for a stay in January 2013
Found this rental to be well appointed, clean and especially well located. The Kona village was just the right distance away to be convenient but removed. Arriving to find the keys in the lock box was such an easy way to take possession. Receiving an email with info concerning dining and shopping was appreciated and put to good use. Having all the appliances made the stay feel like home. We enjoyed the sound of the surf soothing to sleep to with the door to the lanai open. I cannot think of a single thing that I did not enjoy regarding the entire experience. Looking forward to returning to Kona again as soon as possible!

Great condo, parking always available, modern furnishings and great view. It was comfortable and it felt like a home away from home. We cooked a couple of meals and found all the necessary cookware. Both rooms were comfortable and we definitely recommend to anyone staying visiting the Big Island.

My husband, teenage son and I spent a week at this lovely apartment in Kailua. It had recently been remodeled and was clean and nice appointed. The bathrooms, while kind of small, were very nice, no rust or mildew. The bedrooms were comfortable at night, but did get a big muggy during the day. There is no air conditioning but there are ceiling fans in every room which really helped. The view from the lanai is gorgeous, looking out to sea as well as towards town. Great view of the cruise ship that docks every Wednesday. That was fun to watch. The location is perfect. It's a long walk to town but manageable and easy access to main roads to go anywhere on the island. Loved the coffee shop, The Green Flash, which is right on the property. Delicious french toast sandwiches and coffee. The staff made us feel very welcome and offered great advice on places to go in the area. The rental staff for the apartment was also very easy to work with and quite pleasant.

We ( 2 adults and a toddler) spent a week at the Sea Village resort in unit #4207 and were very pleased with accommodations and privacy that it provided. We knew that the unit was recently renovated, but didn't expect it to be so modern and welcoming. The decor and comfort were outstanding, making our vacation more relaxing (which is not easy when one has to deal with a child).
The resort grounds were well maintained and the BBQ and pool area easily accessible. Given that the building was further removed from the main area, we enjoyed peace and quiet.
If we decide to return to Kona, we'll be coming back to this location. -

This condo was beautiful! My friends and I had a great time staying here! The rooms were all comfortable and the view was magnificent! The kitchen was lovely and we had a great time sitting on the balcony all day looking at the water and relaxing! It was very close to the shops and restaurants and was very well kept.
