We had a nice stay. Accomodations were adequate, but it is not a newer unit. It would have been nice to have air conditioning. If we were to come again we would probably try and get a unit that was on the second or third floor so that we could see the water and the sunset.
Thank you for an enjoyable time in Hawaii.

A beautiful, newly-renovated with high-end, comfortable furniture and dual sinks in the master bath, Punahele condos are the very last ones on ali'i Drive in south Keauhou yet just a few minutes' drive to Keauhou Shopping Center with a Post Office, food store and good restaurants. For once the second bedroom (twin beds) is large and has a great reading chair. Flat screen TVs, dishwasher and a beautiful golf course just outside (electric carts make no noise!)add to the country charm. Not for the cardiac-poor due to the front steps (no lift)but you can roll your bag around the building down ramps. Highly recommended for 3+ people who want to stay a week or longer exploring the Kona to Captain Cook region of Hawaii's Big Island.

We come to hawaii every year for a girls getaway and we try a new place every year.. We were thrilled with being the first to stay in this condo after the remodel, the furnishings were beautiful and comfortable..The condo is very close to shopping, and restaurants, and has easy access to highway or the coast road that goes into Kona... We would absolutely return to this unit in the future!! The owners were fabulous and easy to work with too!
