We have enjoyed the Kona Coast for over twenty-seven years and are pleased to be able to help others learn and enjoy the beauty of the area. Located on the Kona Country Club golf course, Keauhou Punahele is a short walk to restaurants, Keauhou Harbor for snorkel and kayak trips. We are just down the road from the Keauhou Shopping Center with a drug store, movie theatre and all amenities. The Keauhou Punahele neighborhood is a popular walking and biking area, quiet but friendly. It is an easy drive to the best snorkeling, dining, and beach areas, and Kona town center is a direct six miles.

We have stayed in a multitude of condominiums within the Hawaiian Islands, and we must acknowledge that our experience with this dwelling was one of the best that we have encountered. Not only was the value a good one, but the comfort of the layout and the furnishings (including comfortable leather couches) enabled us to relax immediately. It's always a pleasant surprise to find spices in the kitchen cupboard and beach gear in the closet - including a small ice chest for our ventures out to the water. The condo was conveniently located at the south end of the primary drive from town, with good access to the thoroughfares reaching to destinatiions north and south. Essentially everything was provided within our vacation home to enjoy our desired life style in paradise. And, the owners did a great job of communicating the protocol for staying at their island home, as well as leaving a binder of ideas for enhancing one's Kona experience. All in all, this proved to be an excellent value - keeping in mind that it is not on the water and you will want a vehicle to get around (unless you like to take the local transit bus). When we return to Kona, we will hope that this comfortable rental is available.

This condo is a lovely place, well situated on the Kona side of Hawaii. It is spacious, nicely appointed with a wide range of small appliances and dishes. The lanai is a great extension to the main part of the condo. We'd stay here again and recommend it.

From the original booking to the end of my stay, this was the easieast holiday booking I have ever made. The property is exactly as described & the photos are current. Sonja is a delight to deal with, her directions to the property are easy to follow & accurate. The Condo is spacious & nicely decorated,immaculately maintained, with everything you need & more for a self-catering holiday. The ground are lovely & the pool area well maintained & inviting. the only thing I would recommend is that you have a car as the condo is about 6 miles from the centre of Kona & you need to drive to the beaches although there is a cheap & regular shuttle service close the the Condo complex entry. All round a great place to stay.

We needed a two bedroom/2bath condo for 3 adults , one 13 year old granddaughter and our almost 12 year old grandson and found this exceptional place! Worked out perfectly. The photos displayed on this site are very accurate.
We have stayed on the Big Island before and found this unit to be located closely to anything you want to do there. There is a small harbor about one quarter mile away , snorkeling beach within walking distance. We saw a lot of tropical fish and turtles there.
The pool is within site of the lanai. I must say the lanai had the most comfortable no-stress lounge chairs we have ever used to relax in. My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed those chairs and want some for our patios at home!
The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for preparing meals and this unit also has its own BBQ which we used. To top that off, the BBQ is quite easy to clean as well.
Bedrooms, baths , living room all were decorated nicely and very welcoming . Look no more if you are in need of what this unit has ! -

sonja is wonderful, the condo is beautiful, more then i had expected, close to town close to highway easy to get there, golf course near by it was wonderful trip recommend it highly!!!

We have stayed in this unit twice, and both times have been fabulous. We have been coming to Kona for a number of years, and have stayed in lots of different condo complexes and units. This one is very clean, well-appointed, and with all the conveniences to make a great stay, such as beach gear, all cooking necessities, grill, etc. Beds were very comfortable, and everything was nicely decorated and felt new. We have been in both the spring and summer, and the unit stayed plenty cool with the fans and breeze that blows through the lanai. We especially liked that it was a corner unit, which means more windows and breeze, and less neighbor noise. Compared to many other places we've stayed, this unit is a really good value for what you get. The complex pool and hot tub are great, and you are never fighting people off to claim a beach chair. We also love that the complex borders the golf course and is easy to walk to the harbor for paddle boarding, swimming, and snorkel trips. You can also easily walk to the Sheraton for a nicer dinner or happy hour. The owners are great, and clearly have a wealth of knowledge on the area to take advantage of. We'll be back for sure! Perfect spot to relax and enjoy all the Big Island has to offer.

I stayed in the condo in early august and it is just charming. The whole place was clean and beautifully decorated. I was sleeping in the guest bedroom and the mattress was very comfortable! It was the perfect place to relax in between snorkeling and sunning on the nearby beaches. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook with (I've stayed at other places where I needed to buy olive oil, salt, and pepper), and the bathrooms had everything from towels to shampoo and sunscreen. The owners are so sweet and helpful and made me feel welcome and well taken care of. I had never been to Kona and Sonja answered all of my questions and gave me a trolley schedule and some great ideas for where to sight-see on the island. There were also several maps and travel magazines in the condo. The trolley picks up right around the corner from the apartment complex at the Sheraton Hotel, and will take you all the way into town ($2 one-way). Snorkeling at the nearby beach was fantastic! Overall, an excellent place to stay - I would absolutely go back!
