The Oceanfront Kona Reef Resort is just two blocks to town, and is a wonderful resort for a vacation stay. Our Kona vacation rental condo units are all fully equipped with full, modern kitchens, washers and dryers right in the units, air conditioning, covered lanais, large TVs with DVD/VHS players, king size bed, ceiling fans in living area and be...droom, dishwasher, and high speed DSL WiFi. This resort is just 30 feet from the water with a beautiful oceanside pool and a jacuzzi, and nice outdoor gas grills. We can answer many of your questions, and are more than happy to do so. We do have four identical Kona vacation rental units at the Kona Reef available, so if one is occupied, one of our other vacation condo units may be available. Two of the units are on the ground floor, one is on the second floor and one is on the top floor, with a great view. One big advantage to the Kona Reef Resort is the close proximity to Kona Town. You can easily walk to the shops or restaurants, so you do not need to drive every time you want to go to town. Plus there is a nice sandy beach just a few steps away where you can swim or just relax. The Kona Reef offers convenience and value. Reserve now, using your credit card or PayPal. You can reserve by phone or with our secure server.

The rental is governed by the Hawaii Innkeepers and Hotel Act, and no tenancy is granted other than the vacation rental period specified in the confirmation.
A deposit of $200 (Two Hundred Dollars) is required to reserve a unit, and the balance is due and payable 30 days prior to arrival. We accept Mastercharge, Visa, Discover, American Express, Paypal, Personal Checks (subject to clearing), and Money Orders. Hawaii taxes (13.42%) must be added to all rentals. A $75 cleaning fee is charged on all rentals. The cleaning fee is waived on any stay of 15 or more days. A refundable security deposit of $150 is required, and is refunded within 7 days of your checkout provided the unit is vacated undamaged and all keys returned. Normal usage, and normal cleaning is expected, and will not affect the return of your security deposit. However any missing or damaged items may be charged against your security deposit. Credit card users may waive the deposit with authorization.

Parking is allowed on the premises for owners and their guests. You must obtain a permit (no charge) at the Kona Reef Office.

Please note that the Pool and Spa hours are posted, and are closed after 10PM. Note: children under 12 are not permitted in the Spa. Plastic glasses and cups should be used in the pool area not stemware or glass containers.

There are 2 unit keys, and 2 pool keys provided, as well as 2 keys to the security safe in the unit. Check in instructions are provided to you well in advance of your arrival. There will be a $75 charge for any lost key, as lost keys will result in rekeying. Daily maid service is available at a small additional cost, if desired. A late check out is possible but not guaranteed, and must be arranged in advance. Normal check in time is after 2:30PM and check out time is 11AM.

  I've know Ken and Dia for over 6 years, I've stayed in all their Kona Reef Units, and planning another 1 month stay Feb 2013 ... the units are well equipped, very well maintained, the staff at Kona Reef are wonderful, grounds well kept, pool area, BBQ area, best place to stay while in Kona... the ease of walking into Kona Village, don't need a car, parking isn't easy ! ... car only for daily sightseeing trips !!
