Aloha,OCEAN Views are yours! I f you are looking for one of the BEST

snorkeling Beaches on the Big Island this is the condo you want. We

have a gentle beach just steps away.The snorkeling is absolutely

incredible and since you are right there, you have the opportunity to

go morning,noon and early evening . There are so many species of

colorful fish and they are so friendly.We went in May, and I felt like

I was in'Fish Heaven,' they were that beautiful.Also there are lots of

sea turtles that love swimming along with you. I will be happy to

share some of our pics with you.

For the teens,ther...e is a surf shop to the North of the protected

Kahalu'u Beach with surfboard rentals.Just past the gentle

swimming/snorkeling beach is a nice gentle rolling surf that the

surfers love.If you look on a satellite map, you will see the gentle

surf to the North of Kahalu'u Beach.If you go to Google Earth and type

in Kahalu'u Beach, Kailua Kona Hawaii,you can see our condo.I added

the beautiful Ocean view, smell the air and listen to the native birds

while watching the palms gently sway in the tropical breeze.At this

point.....ahhhh you will know you are in 'Paradise.'Mornings and

evenings are a real treat. In the morning you will enjoy your views of

the coastline and beach.You will see and hear an array of brightly

colored songbirds singing their morning songs.Early Wed. morning you

may even see luxury cruise ships sailing into port. In the evenings,

while enjoying your dinner, you will be treated to one of those

unforgettable Kona sunsets where the colors of the sky and sea are

beyond description and quite possibly your imagination.Watch

closely... you maybe fortunately enough to view of famous 'green

flash'.

Our condo is large, luxurious, designer decorated and has all the

amenities you would desire.The condo features state of the art in

design from the granite counter tops to the glass door cherry wood

cabinets completely stocked with colorful dishes.The bathrooms have

glass block showers and art glass sinks.All of the rooms as well as

the lanai have tropical ceiling fans and tray ceilings.There is a

large flat screen TV in the living room with Disc player and a TV in

each bedroom with disc player.We have free internet hookup and free

long distance to the U.S.and Canada.

Kona is a very simple residential beach village with a beach town

flair.Lowrise condos intermix with homes and parks,snorkel lagoons and

little sandy coves..a real homey feel... compared to the resorts.You

will fall in Love with The Big Island

Our unit has a sofa bed as well as a porta crib and highchair for a baby.

POOL:The infinity pool is just steps away and has beautiful Ocean

views.When you are swimming in the pool, it has the feeling of just

spilling into the ocean.There is a keikei(kiddie pool) area in the big

pool.) Great to sit and suntan in the shallow water with little

ones.There is a lava rock spa and a gas barbeque. Tables and chairs as

well as lounge chairs are in the pool area.

We are happy to provide our guests with lists of recommended nearby

restaurants and lots of activities. We have a passion for the Big

Island and love helping our guests with suggestions for their

traveling needs.We also have a conscierge, Rebecca who can help with

any of your island planning needs.

We offer the use of our cooler,beach towels,beach chairs and boogie boards.

Additional Location Information

The Location, Location, Location. How can you go wrong owning a piece
of Paradise at the Best Snorkeling Beach on the Island. Kahalu'u has
everything we had wanted, the gentle snorkeling/swimming beach. The
abundant sea turtles you can swim with,check You Tube 'Konagail' to
view our recent video. There are also literally hundreds of species of
colorful fish. I have so many great pics, I would love to send you
some, just ask. If you like nature, you can hike to the many secluded
Ocean areas along Ali'i Drive. White Sands Beach is a nice walk and
about 1/2 mile away. You can stroll through the grounds of the
Keauheou Outrigger Hotel where you will find ancient fish ponds, King
Kameamehaha's old stomping grounds and an ancient birthing area by the
Ocean just to the South of the hotel.

Don't forget the BREATHTAKING Views from our condo. Morning coffee
and afternoon cocktails as well as meals from the lanai....can't get
any better than that!

  We had a wonderful time during our trip to the Big Island. We loved the condo. It is right on the beach, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The owners provided good information about local activities/places that are not always listed in the guidebooks (Hapuna Beach is now one of our favorites) The best part of every day was waking up in the morning and sitting on the lanai enjoying the ocean view. Paradise!!! Thank-you so much Phil and Gail. We will be back.

  This was my first time renting a owner owned vacation rental. I usual stay in luxury hotels when I travel. I wanted something different and a little more cost effective since I was taking my 3 kids (7, 12, 15 years old) and my girlfriend and her 7 year old daughter. ***best decision I made, renting this place*** To start, the owner Gail, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She did everything she said she was going to do and with kindness and promt attention to detail!!! The condo was better than described and just as nice as some of the 5 start resorts I have stayed in. Very, Very clean with nice decor and everything I could need or want!! The kids loved it and my girlfriend and I spent all the nights together on the patio enjoying the ocean sounds and the fragrant smells The Big Island has to offer...The pool, jaccuzzi and BBQ combined with the view of the ocean made for memorable dinners outside!!! I cant forget the amazing Sunsets as a background as well... I can't say enough about this condo and my words cannot describe how perfect it was, a place you will have to experience for yourself!!! Thank you Gail for making my Hawaii trip memorable for all of us!!!

  Subject: Mahalo Dear Gail, My daughter and I recently returned from a wonderful vacation to the Big Island, (Feb. 2012) where we really enjoyed staying at your condo in Kona. The condo was absolutely charming, and the patio was perfect for enjoying unforgettable views of the ocean. The two bedrooms were ideal for my daughter and me. We particularly enjoyed the convenience of having a new kitchen at our disposal. In addition, the condo was ideally located - perfect for driving North to the Marina (where we rented a boat and my daughter went scuba diving) as well as South to the Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park (where we kayaked and snorkeled among the spinner dolphins). The snorkeling right off the condo was also unbelievable. My daughter saw three sea turtles in the first 15 minutes! We took your advice and enjoyed an amazing dinner - and a fabulous view of the sunset - at Sam Choy's, which is just blocks from the condo.   I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your condo - perfect location for snorkeling with the kids and they enjoyed the pool as well. We saw Green sea turtles on the beach on our very first day and the variety and number of fish were actually better here than at the Captain Cook Marine sanctuary! The best snorkeling was in the morning before the crowds and before the tide churned things up. We appreciated the fact that everything from beach chairs and boogie boards to the coolers were there for us. We intentionally left behind some sand toys, a few small puzzles, and a pair of water shoes (all ready too small for my youngest son!) for the next guests to enjoy.

  We loved our Big Island vacation and felt like this was the perfect place to stay. It's a beautiful and very comfortable condo that was just right for our family of four. We loved relaxing out on the Lani after very busy and fun filled days. Gail's helpful suggestions of "fun things to do in Hawaii" came in handy as we planned our activities. After sightseeing the whole island we all felt like this condo was the best location to serve as our launching pad. We loved the beautiful infinity pool with a view of the beach. It was our favorite place to view the sunsets. Thank you Gail for all your help. We highly recommend this place and look forward to a return trip.

  We had an absolutely fabulous time in Kona and your condo was great! Thank you so much for letting us stay there for a week. It was one of the best vacations we've had and we all agreed we'd love to go back some day. The kids had fun staying in their own room and the sand/beach toys were so nice to be able to borrow. Eating outside and looking at the ocean was so relaxing. It was nice to be able to walk across the street to the snorkeling beach and to the Farmers Market. The pool was a bit cold for me the week we were there, but the kids loved it! I loved the hot tub. Thanks again - you have an amazing home in Kona and what a great location!

  This condo is exactly as advertised. Clean, well kept with all the amenities near by. 10 minute car ride to shopping centre, costco and walmart. Steps to a beach with excellent snorkeling, and the complex is perfect for people of all ages. Nice little bbq and patio area with a hot tub and pool, all well kept. We made use of the bbq everyday, saved a ton of money on food!! Surf and paddle board lessons are right across the street as well!! Kayaking nearby and a 5 minute drive to Kona Golf and Country Club.   We are just back from an 19 night stay. The property is very well kept, and our unit was fabulous. The large lanai overlooks the beach across the street. The infinity pool is lovely and appropriate for all ages. It is a small property so there were never a lot of people at the pool, lots of lounger chairs available. Gail gave us a welcome call when we arrived to make sure everything was alright, and did a follow up call later in our stay. The building manager also checked in to check whether we need anything. The barbeque always had propane in the tank and we never had to wait to use it. This is a beautiful property and I highly recommend it.
