Country Club Villas is a beautiful place to stay. We had a three bedroom condo to accommodate our family of 5. There was room for everyone. This condo was fully equipped including beach towels, toys, boogie boards and snorkeling equipment. We never needed for anything. Country Club Villas overlooks a golf course and beyond that was the ocean. Such beautiful sunsets. David (owner) was great to deal with whether via email or in person. Would definitely recommend this unit when coming to the Big Island. Kona is a great location and not far from the airport, shopping, beaches and more. We can't wait to return. Thank you David.

The condo was awesome very comfortable and well layed out. Full kitchen with many utensils for doing your own cooking. Very nice being an end unit, parking is right out the door and so is the pool/hot tub and tennis court. All kinds of beach toys and towels, boogie boards, flippers, goggles. I would definately return to this condo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this newly remodeled condo on the Big Island. It was in just the right location ... close enough to the main tourism, yet just the right distance to not feel too crowded. We found our favorite family beach at Magic Sands beach and usually ended each of our days there with some beach time with the locals. It was our first family vacation to Hawaii and it will always be one of our favorites. Our hosts were very accommodating and the condo had all of the extra amenities we needed to feel right at home!

This is a wonderful Villa - top shelf experience and extremely nice owners. The entire process from the initial booking to actually being there, was a joy.
If you're looking for a clean, well appointed, quiet and relaxing villa, then look no further. I intend to go back here on my next trip to the Big Island. -

After a lot of research into the Kona area, our friends booked this condo for a 9 night stay. Since we couldn't obligate immediately, they booked the "Hideaway" for two couples and we were the 3rd couple to commit. The condo is an excellent choice for a family or couples traveling together. The condo is bright and airy with ceiling fans in every room. It has a large patio with gas BBQ. The beds are excellent. The upstairs bedroom has step stairs that you can see in the pictures. Wouldn't recommend anyone staying with a disability to use this room due to the stairs, but if this isn't a concern, it is a nice place to sleep even for couples, but it is twin beds. It has a sliding private screen with a toilet and sink. The kitchen is well stocked, but so typical of rentals, the knives are dull. I don't know why more places don't have a decent knife sharpener. Dull knives are dangerous!
Hideaway has a lot of nice beach extras available, particularly for kids. Umbrella's, beach chairs, kids mask, fins and a couple of boogie boards, but one was broken so really just a play toy at this point. Another nice extra is plenty of beach towels which many times are limited.
Washer/dryer in the unit really came in handy. You do not need to bring a lot of clothes with you.
The view from this this 3rd (top) floor unit are fantastic that offer fantastic sunsets.
Only a couple of negatives. The unit is quite close to the ali highway so the back bedroom does get some road noise during the early morning traffic. Not really a problem, but the couple staying there did comment. The location is right on the 17th tee of the ocean course of Kona Country Club and is very close to the area pool. If you are a golfer, the Kona Country Club course is fantastic and is an excellent choice for golf and just a short drive away. (Ocean course is the better course) The clubhouse is also an excellent choice for meals, particularly breakfast or lunch with excellent views and reasonable prices. It is a nice walk south of the unit
The other word of warning is while none of us are real smokers, the guys do enjoy an occasional cigar outside. While having a cigar outside, Immediately we were warned that the entire complex is non smoking so please pay attention to this if pertains to anyone in your group. We understand this pertains to a lot of the areas condo complexes. They do take all outside non smoking very seriously.
Would highly recommend and would go back in a second. Btw...the Sammy Choi restaurant and grocery store are a very short distance from the unit. Sammy Choi has a great appetizer period and great for sunsets as well. The grocery store is a little pricey on some things, but very convenient. For your main grocery run, suggest Costco.
