Left on 03/20/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Absolutely perfect experience from beginning to end. Beautiful condo! The pictures are exactly what you walk into. Immaculately clean, amazing view, couldn't be anymore convenient to everything you'd ever want to do, well stocked with anything and everything you'd ever need. I will never stay in another hotel on vacation again!

Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The apt had everything and more to use. The dinner service accommodated 9 people. There was gear for snorkeling and towels for the beach.
The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The apt is quiet and cool, the lani was really enjoyable living area.
Being able to walk across the road to swim and snorkel, lots of fish, was a plus and a two minute walk to rent a surf or paddle board, walk across the road and jump in was great.
We used a rental car but could have largely done without if we hadn't been interested in sight seeing.
There is public transportation, open air rubber wheel trolley that was two minutes to a shopping ctr. with groc.and drug store along with a movie theater and restaurants.
Going towards town is beautiful walking or bike trail and 15 minute drive into town that has lots of shops.
Personnel from abbey Rentals were very responsive, replied within minutes of a question.
There is pleanty to do within a 30 minute drive to keep busy for two weeks. -

Hong Kongsuperb location & great condos
Left on 01/02/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Our third stay in this condo block and its a brilliant location. Just across the street from the turtle beach for early morning snorkelling and evening strolls over the rocks to watch them feeding. The BBQ area is very handy and the condos are well appointed with lovely lanais looking towards the beach. Highly recommended. Just one complaint - the shower head needs repair as it is leaking and has such weak water pressure (a mere dribble) that we had to use the second bathroom to wash our hair. But I'm sure that will get fixed asap. We will be back!

Aloha Marion,
We are glad you had a great time. Thank you for letting us know about the shower head, and we will have it fixed first thing. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon.

The condo was found as pictured. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. It was nice to use the BBQ each evening and to sit outside and eat our meals. Only problem was the main TV would occasionally lose its picture for some unknown reason. After a while it would come back. No other problems at all. Would definitely come back to this condo.

Corona, CAGreat place to come "home" to!
Left on 09/15/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We loved this condo! The condo is nicely furnished and very modern. The location is perfect, especially if you plan to explore the island. It's far enough south of the main Kona strip to avoid the tourist crowds but very close to a large "local" shopping center with groceries, a bank, a theater, shops and restaurants. The view is outstanding including a perfect sunset vista from the patio overlooking the pool and the state beach (which has excellent snorkeling). And as a bonus the Outrigger patio bar and restarant is a short walk away - ask for the Grand ali'i Mai Tai - it's the best on the island (and we tried several)! Overall a great place to come "home" to after a day exploring the Big Island.

Indianapolis, INEverything was awesome!!!
Left on 06/22/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We arrived to a beautiful, lighted livingroom, kitchen area with soft music playing. The accomodations were lovely and exactly like pictured. The location was across the street from a beach park and breathtaking sunsets. There was a shopping area a few minutes drive with everything you need. Was close drive to the more touristy area but far enough away to feel you were secluded and private. The staff was always accessible even in the evening when we had copied down the wrong code to enter the condo. They were so pleasant, cheerful, and accomodating. The room keys had small scan card to get discounts at the store which was great. The beds were very comfortable and roomy and my teenage and adult sons could not stop raving about the plush towels! The washer and dryer in the unit were great for taking home suitcases of clean clothes. We all enjoyed the pool area and often had it to ourselves. The building 1 we stayed in had the best straight on view of the ocean. Would definately look into staying here again if we travel back!!

Recommended place to stay!
Centennial COExcellent condo for family vacation
Left on 05/07/2011 for a stay in April 2011
My wife and I brought our 2.5 yr old daughter to experience the Big Island. We also brought a friend of the family and the condo had plenty of room for everyone. The beach is down the street about 1 city block (depending on what city you live in). The pool was great and
It overlooked the ocean.
Sue with the rental office was outstanding with answering all my questions quickly, prior to our arrival. She also coordinated with 2 separate vendors who delivered some necessary toddler furniture and a grocery delivery service who stocked the fridge.
The condo seems new and I think I might have seen 2 bugs over the course of 5days. Considering we were in Hawaii, 2 bugs is nothing. Several years ago we stayed at the Kona Sands down the street and we saw many more bugs.
We had a lot of stuff to bring to the unit so if you stay in this unit or the 3rd floor, be careful with elderly folks as I did not see an elevator.
I would stay here again! -

Portland, ORGreat location, comfortable unit
Left on 03/23/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We very much enjoyed our stay in this unit for 5 days. The location right on the beach is great and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub almost every day. It would have been nice to have more than 4 chaise-lounges at the pool as there were often more people than chairs available.
Eating breakfast on the lanai was great and the condo comfortable. Note that this unit actually has 3 bedrooms, not 2 (it was nice to have the extra bedroom to store the overabundance of pillows in this unit). I do think that the towels and sheets should be updated.
The condo overall met all our needs and the location was really outstanding. -

Not the best in this complex, but a GREAT view
Mount Shasta, CAOkay, but have had better
Left on 07/30/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This particular apartment in this condo is okay. The carpets are getting old and tattered and the place did not have that crisp new "feel" that the other condos we have rented in this complex has. The sinks in the bathrooms were especially hard to keep clean and the washing machine was really loud. We have stayed in a number of other condos in the other buildings, and this one rates a bit lower, not because the cleaners didn't do their job, since we could see it was as clean as it could get for its' condition, but the place really needs some updating, love and attention. The bed was okay and we had to buy a sharp knife as there wasn't one that was good enough to use in the condo (perhaps all the use they have gotten for the past five years has dulled them.) We left the knife as a "gift" for the condo's next occupants. Otherewise, we loved the view and the quiet (no noisy neighbors was great.) Thank you

This condo is across the street from and excellent , family friendly snorkeling beach. It is a short drive to the center of Kona, with tons of shops and restaurants. The condo itself was beautifully appointed, had beach towels and enough supplies (paper towel, dish soap, etc) to meet our needs. There's a lovely pool which we usually had to ourselves, and we really enjoyed eating our breakfast on the lanai, overlooking the ocean. If we ever return to Hawaii, we would definitely stay here again!

Lake Havasu City, AZLovely Condo Stay
Left on 09/30/2009 for a stay in September 2009
We stayed here because it was near the park that's known for great snorkeling on the Big Island - and it is! The condo was furnished nicely, with a collection of spices and such, which avoided buying and then throwing them away. Flat screen TV's, and a view from the lani to "kill for". The follow-up and service from Abby was exceptional.
We did question the practice of having guests wash the linens before leaving (except sheets). The towels looked dingy and one never knows how carefully the last guest was in washing them. It would be a small cost to have the towels professionally laundered, and give peace of mind that they were clean. Yes, we washed them before using them.
Other than that, the stay was GREAT! We'd do it again for sure. -

Left on 09/25/2009 for a stay in September 2009
My husband and myself, along with our 17 yr old daughter and 20 yr old son had the best time together on our recent trip to Hawaii. Staying at Kahaluu Beach Villas was absolutley perfect. It had an amazing ocean view, and did not lack anything! We rented our condo, KBV 1-203, through Abbey Vacation Rentals. They were excellent to deal with before and during our vacation. Our condo had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The showers were huge. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare any meal. Dishwasher, ice maker with the large fridge, coffee grinder, etc. There is a BBQ on the patio by the awesome infinity pool and hot tub(great for a late night soak). The beds were so comfortable. We all felt like we were "coming home" after a day of body surfing and exploring the Big Island. We had a washer and dryer in the condo also, so were able to throw a load on each night if needed. Kahaluu Beach Villas are directly across from the best snorkel beach. We would have our morning Kona coffee on the lanai,(watched the most amazing sunsets from here each night) and take in all the early morning snorkelers and surfers. It was just a short stroll across Alii Drive, and we were snorkeling! Lots of beautiful fish and turtles to swim with. Magic Sands beach is just a short drive, or a nice morning walk, and the body surfing there was so much fun. This was our favourite beach as it was so close. Hapuna beach is just beautiful too on the Kohala coast.
We were close (7 min drive) to Kailua-Kona town as well, if we wanted dinner out or just stroll the shops. Keauhou Shopping centre was also only a 3 min drive for groceries, movie etc.
There are 21 condos, so it is very private staying there. We enjoyed watching the school bus in the morning, as it stops on the corner to pick up all the kids. Lots of wonderful families in Kona.
We really want to return within the next 12 months and would not hesitate to rent at Kahaluu Beach Villas. It was perfect. Trip of a lifetime. Mahalo! -

We had a wonderful time in Kailua- Kona at this condominium. It was
so convenient to be across the street from the beach park with the
great snorkeling. It's a great place for beginner snorkeling. The
condo was very nicely furnished and was very comfortable. The ocean
view from the lanai was lovely. If you want to leave the windows
open, I suggest a condo back a bit from the street so that it's a bit
quieter in the morning. There's a convenient shopping center about a
mile away with restaurants, movie theater, and a grocery store. We
plan on renting here again in the future.
