This place was the perfect location for our family. My husband and 2 daughters (5 & 3) stayed here for a week. Easy/short walk to snorkeling beach, pool was excellent for little kids, quick drive to grocery store. Would definitely stay here again. The condo had beach chairs, towels, umbrella & cooler for your beach trips. Can't say enough about this place, it was wonderful.

Great condo great location very comfortable modern facility . Very nice close tu Kahuluu beach best snorkeling ever. Only downfall if staying on bottom floor very noisy from upstairs tenants just general foot traffic. Would stay here again but definitely here again but would stay on top floor.

This was our 1st trip to Hawaii and this condo, its location next to the beach and shopping was the most important to our ejoyable vacation.
The condo was clean and very comfortable. Internet access was reliable and strong. We had no issues or complaints, everything was just perfect.
If there is any thing we could suggest it would be that the name of the condo overlooking the road be written in white letters as on arrival at midnight we could not identify the address without leaving the car and making close survey of the area.
Oh and another plus this was only 15 minutes from the airport. We travelled extencively through out the island and we beleive this was the best location we could possibly have. We vere fotunate in enjoying this condo and have plesant memories of our vacation.
Finnaly our flight back home was delayed due aircraft repairs and we were given 2 nights stay at the 5* Marriot hotel just down the road and trust me the stay at this condo beat the hotel stay 5 times over. -

This was a very well maintained and clean condo unit with a very pleasing decor. The location right across from Kalahuu Beach Park provided a good opportunity to go 'local' and enjoy the beach and snorkeling. Not too far from dining and activities in Kailua-Kona, it was located very near some local shopping for the things needed for 6 nights there.

Terrific location across from a wonderful beach. Easy to get around from there. Bathroom sinks were inconvenient to use or clean. Nice BBQ area near the pool as well.

Exceptional condo in a great location...what more can we say! We spent a glorious week enjoying this place with family and would love to return. The location can't be beat...convenient to so many things we wanted to do while we were staying on the Kona side of the Big Island. Abbey Vacation Rentals is a very reliable manager and provided us with a wonderful place to stay. Our family actually rented two units from them and both condos were great!

We found this to be a clean, comfortable and nicely decorated villa. It was very well maintained. There is a wonderful place for snorkeling across the street from the complex, Kahalu'u Beach Park.The only problems: There was a strong chemical smell (I assume from the cleaners)when we arrived, but it dissipated in a few days. Also, the bathrooms sinks are very stylish but impractical glass bowel sitting on top of the counter which are hard to use for those of us who are short.

We stayed at 2-101 (2) in August of 2009. We were very happy with the condo. It is furnished and decorated beautifully. It is well appointed with everything you would need. It was nice to have a TV in each room, as well as a (one) DVD player. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pans and also a blender and coffee pot. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and then enjoying the meal on the lanai, with the great view of the beach and ocean across the street. The lanai has a ceiling fan which is nice. Other helpful little things were provided - kitchen soap, and a cooler and beach towels to use. The washer/dryer unit was nice to have, and they provided some soap as well.
We were really happy with the condo location also, a snorkel beach across the street (3 minute walk.) Down the street a bit (5 min drive) is a beautiful white sand beach (Magic Sands) great for body surfing. Then a bit further on into Kona, which is a fun town to explore with lots of shops and restaurants.
Heading south, there is a grocery store 5 minutes away which is nice.
Abbey Vacation Rentals also checked in with a phone call to make sure everything was fine, and provided numbers if we needed anything.
We had a great time here, enjoyed the condo and would hope to make it back in the future. -

We loved the Beach Villa - it had a great view of the beach at Kahaluu Park, it was close to the shops and restaurants on Alii Drive and very close to a shopping center where you could get all the essentials. The beach was great for snorkeling and very safe. The villa was nicely decorated and very comfortable for a family of four. We loved the pool and the hot tub. Everything was easily accessible and clean.

We just spent a week in this condo during the Christmas/New Year holiday 2008/9. The condo is beautiful and very nicely furnished. It came with everything (almost) that you would want. The furnishings, linens, kitchen supplies, etc. all seemed to be brand new and barely used. Keys are obtained through a lock box outside the door - very simple. When we arrived, lights were on and Hawaiian music was playing - a very nice touch.
The condo is directly across the street from a great snorkel beach. No driving required.
A couple of things FYI: Based on other reviews, we thought that a barbecue grill was available at the pool. We stopped on the way to the condo, bought food for the grill, and arrived to find no grill at the pool. It finally appeared on our last day - no explanation for where it was before that. Plan B was to broil steaks in the oven, but there was no broiler pan. The only other relatively minor issue is that the air conditioning thermostat is behind a locked cover. We did fine with having doors open when we were in and closing things up when we went out, but if you need to adjust the temperature up or down, you have no way of doing it.
Please note that these are minor issues and this is really a lovely condo in a great location. Enjoy.

This Condo was excellent! Everything was up to date and very stylish. We truely never wanted to leave. It was walking distance to a beach to lay out at. I would definatley come back and stay at this same place again.
