H5 has one of the best locations in the complex for privacy and the view, located at the northern edge overlooking the wild and undeveloped O'hia Cave lava flow, and the lanai is out of the sightlines of almost all of the rest of the complex.
The furnishings are of high quality and tasteful. Unfortunately, the blind adjusters are flimsy, and most of them were broken. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and comfortable.
The kitchen is well equipped, lacking only a teapot and a French press for tea and coffeee lovers. The tea kettle, though functional, was not flat on the bottom and tended to rock.
When we requested maintenance for a sticky faucet handle and a dismantled tub drain plug, response was quick and effective in dealing with those issues. However, the water filter for the kitchen sink that seemed to be nearly plugged was not replaced during our two-week stay, although reported at the beginning.
The large walk-in shower was a highlight.
The wi-fi worked well, but should be upgraded from 11g to 11n, and should be secured, rather than unsecured.
It would be nice if beach chairs were available for renter use. The proximity of the Keauhou Shopping Center is very convenient.
The master bedroom toilet sometimes emitted a high-pitched whistle that required jiggling the flush knob to stop.
Overall, our stay was very pleasant, and we enjoyed breakfast on the lanai nearly every morning.
While we were there, an internet search located several identical units elsewhere in the complex managed by a different company that were typically $20 a day cheaper. We don't know how the furnishings or views compare for these, but they may be better value. -

This condo was fully appointed right down to an umbrella, coolers, beach mats, beach bags, extra everything! More importantly, it was Clean. The neighbors were a mix of permanent residents and owners, and some vacationers like us, and they were friendly without being intrusive. People obviously care about this condo development. The grounds were as neat as the interior and always clean. We like a quiet atmosphere so this was the perfect place to stay, for us.

This condo was in outstanding shape. All kitchen supplies were there and in excellent condition. Bbq perfect. All room furnishings in very good condition. Great view of ocean view from outside patio and deck. Very quiet condo complex. Pool in perfect condition. Perfect location - easy access to shopping and ocean in kona area.
Highly recommended for adults. Kids would enjoy but probably not as much as too quiet and need to walk down hill / road to beaches. -

Lovely place to stay with beautiful views and wonderful pool! Great extras like beach mats, ipod dock, beach toys. Just need to add a few baby amenities (child bed and child seat) to make it perfect.

This was a great condo! Very spacious and clean. The
property is also well maintained with a nice pool,
gym and ample parking. Walking distance (about 15
minutes) to the closest beach with great snorkeling.
The nearest shopping plaza is also within walking
distance. I would highly recommend staying at this
condo and booking via Abbey Vacations. Everyone has
been very helpful! -

Very well maintained and spacious property. Great location near shops and a beautiful beach nearby. Unfortunate design of the property that the pool (similar to the motel type)is boring, meaning lack of any design or landscaping and therefore uninviting. The neighbor Lanai is inches outside our unit kitchen window and directly under the Mtr bedroom. Can be noisy and awkward if both unit are occupied the same time and the users are up early or stay out late the same time. It happened to us but we still very much enjoyed this property

Excellent lodging. Great location - about 6 miles away from town down Alii
Drive, nice to spend time in town and then retreat to our condo. Definitely
need rental car. Complex is quiet, with security gate, nice pool, newer condo
with all amenities, lovely master suite with partial ocean view. Abbey Vacation
service was terrific, responding to a couple of calls immediately. Highly
recommend this condo.
