My wife and my 2 girls (11 & 14) and I stayed here over Christmas. The condo is large and open with an amazing lanai - very comfortable and for the almost 3 weeks we were there was a great home away from home:) There's a nice mall just down the road that has everything, and this end of alii Drive is pretty quiet. Only cons: No wifi, tough carrying luggage up and down those stairs to the thrid floor. beach access is a ways off - a mile or so and the beaches there are very busy. We had fun at the farmer's market down near Palani street - everything is cheap and good - don't go to Safeway or Costco for fruit and veggies!! This was an amazing place to stay and we loved it - tennis courts and pool are great! Bbq's are hard to get as there's only 2 available and one didn't work too well, but we made do. We will try and book this place again next winter!

I wanted to find something away from town, but not to far. I wanted the accommodations to be nice, clean and updated. I didn't want to overpay. I had expectations and after traveling all day to my best friends destination wedding, I was remarkably impressed when I walked in. Large tile flooring, beautiful bamboo furniture, washer/dryer, full kitchen, huge patio, golf course and ocean view. The neighbors were quiet and to themselves, and it felt very comfortable. I would stay in the exact room again if I get the chance.

This is a very comfortable, nicely furnished condo. We had everything we needed to make our stay exceptional. Beautiful lanai, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds in a well maintained property. Right on the edge of a golf course, it's very quiet and beautifully landscaped. We'd love to stay here again!

This is a gorgeous apartment. It was so well equipped, literally it had everything we needed, including washing machine/ dryer, dishwasher... all the kitchen equipment we could have possibly used, plenty of towels, including beach towels, even 2 cool boxes!
We loved our stay on the big island and would definitely recommend staying here to our friends. The complex also has a great pool and tennis courts and it's just a short drive to the local shops and town. -

It was a nice place. The fans were helpful, but airconditioning would have been nice at night to cool it of for sleeping. We would have liked the 5th and 6th sleeping areas not to have been a very stiff couch and a very flimsy roll away. We only needed a fifth and it wasn't great for teens, maybe okay for young ones. The kitchen was great and had lots of dishes and cooking implements. The bathrooms were nice and the layout was good. It would have been nice to have solid wall seperating the master for more privacy.

The condo did not have air conditioning and did not face the ocean to capture the east-west winds--so even though the high only got to 84 degrees, we were pretty miserable during the day. Because one must leave the windows open at night, there is a problem with privacy as the vertical blinds swayed open with the night breeze. I did not realize the consequence of being on the third floor until I had to lug my 45 pound suitcase up three flights of stairs. The condo itself however was beautiful and well furnished. Abbey vacation rentals were great to work with and readily available.

I enjoyed my stay with Abbey Vacations in Kona Hawaii so much and would do it again. The condo was perfect, quiet setting, well-appointed decor, easy access to Kona downtown and other attractions. The condo was not super fancy so we felt like we needed to watch our every move, we were extremely comfortable. Many little touches made the stay wonderful, like beach towels, a cooler and a boogey board for the beach, everything that we needed was right there.

We had stayed in the condo a few times before (in different units), but it was our first time to stay in this unit. We really loved it. It was very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and quiet. We'd love to stay there again! And we'd recommend it to anybody. Thank you!

Very clean, comfortable condo. The kitchen and master bath have been recently remodeled and were very nice.
Might have been nice to have internet access, but it wasn't bad to get away from it either. -

when we arrived at the condo it was open to the breeze and welcoming music was playing to the gentle flapping of the vertical blinds. The place is very modern and spacious, with beautiful furnishings and good appliances. The golf course and ocean views from the double-wide porch are breathtaking. We saw several varieties of finches and a mongoose! The property is well kept and residents are quiet during the posted quiet hours. Wednesday is the day for weed whacking, though, so you may want to plan activities to flee the noise that goes nonstop for about 6 hours. We noticed that each unit is a little different; this one is a winner!

We loved this location. We were on the ocean and still close enough to town with out haveing the town croud. We spent alot of time in town,snorkling and scuba diving. But sitting on the balconey and looking at the water,listing to the birds chirp sipping coffee in the mornings is the best.The grounds were in perfect shape and any time we needed to know something the staff and ground keepers were able and willing to help.If you have never tryed this place you dont know what your missing. We loved it. :o)

We make an effort to stay at this condo when we come to Kailua Kona to visit our daughter. This particular unit is clean, beautifully decorated and refurbished. The property is waterfront and within walking distance of a great snorkeling beach as well as restaurants and stores. Because we are repeat users, this condo feels like home to us. We highly recommend it to any traveler.
