We recently stayed at this property with our daughter and her family which included my 2 grandkids, ages 6 and 9. We've been to Hawaii several times as a two generation family, but found this house with its location to be our favorite to date. Kids snorkeled at nearby snorkel beach almost every day. House is well maintained and equipped. We watched lots of fish, turtles and even say whales just sitting on the deck. The house is quiet at night. Having bedrooms on either side of the main living area gave everyone plenty of privacy.
House is air conditioned, but they don't automatically leave you the controls. It was warm during our visit, so the air was needed at times. Property manager charges extra $25 per day for a/c. If we hadn't asked the people cleaning before we arrived, we might have spent some uncomfortable times. Anyway, be sure to ask about a/c.
Otherwise, a super location and very nice home right on alii Drive. -

My family had a wonderful time. The house is very well maintained, comfortable and has everything one needs and more . We all loved it and we would stay there again on our next trip to the Big Island.

The location right on the water cannot be beat. Gorgeous views, sunsets, turtles etc. The house is extremely comfortable, especially the beds. Plenty of towels, including beach towels, chairs, coolers, reusable grocery bags etc. The kitchen is well equipped although pretty cleaned out of staples such olive oil, spices etc. Cooking is a joy with the view of the ocean from several windows. Coffee on the lanai each morning was perfect. The retractable awnings and screens were also very appreciated. It is easy walking distance to White Sands beach and Kahaluu Bay, as well as the grocery store. Snorkeling behind the house is some of the best on the island. The property managers were very easy to deal with and accommodating our request of an early check in. The only area needing attention in our opinion was the snorkel gear is pretty worn. We had our own and only needed to use a couple of their items, but I would not count on it for 6 people. There is a place to rent snorkel gear, standup boards, surf boards right down the street as well. We could not have had a better experience, will definitely stay here again next time we are on the big island.

This house has the most extraordinary ocean front you may ever find. The home is extremely comfortable; beds and all. It has the best stocked vacation villa kitchen I've ever used. Our experience was wonderful; and this was our second stay there.

The house was beautiful, clean and spacious with a great lanai (and hot tub!)overlooking the water. The location was perfect, close to Kona and a great beach for snorkeling. The service was also accomodating and helpful. We'd recommend it highly!

We all had great things to say about this home. It is well kept and there may be a few things that need to be updated but only minor things. It is appointed very well. When we checked into the unit we were told that the following week was unrented so we were not in a hurry to vacate on Sunday. We found out in the early afternoon that renters were coming in and we had to get out immedicately. We got out in 20 minutes but it would have been nice to know that the place was rented so there would be no inconvenience to the cleaning crew or ourselves. A little communication from the property managers would have solved this minor problem.
