Best vacation home we encountered in our travels.The owners, Shannon and Neil have taken great pride and meticulous attention in providing the best and most delightful and memorable "Aloha" experience. The Villa is very comfortable, exceptionally clean and extremely well provisioned. It is located in a quiet, pleasant and secure environment. The interiors are tastefully and beautifully furnished. In addition, we were provided with very detailed and updated information/ recommendations regarding many interesting activities/places/eateries, which was extremely useful to first time visitors to Big Island, like ourselves. Shannon was always ready to answer any queries cheerfully and with alacrity. We liked it so much that we extended our stay. We would absolutely highly recommend this outstanding rental home and the exceptional owners, Shannon and Neil.

My family of 5 stayed at Villa by the Sea from Dec.22-29th 2012 and we all absolutely loved it. From the beginning of the rental process in February Shannon made everything so easy for us. She sent out information emails about the area and mailed us a postcard with all the pertinent information covering access etc. months in advance. The home itself is beautiful. It was spotless and there was everything we needed and more. In past rentals we've needed to run out for dish detergent or paper towels but at Shannon's everything was there with duplicates stacked in the garage if we ran out. The kitchen was stocked with everything from a crock pot and rice cooker to an assortment of spices and tupperware to pack things in the cooler (supplied of course) for a day at the beach. We used the bogie boards and beach towels (also provided)every day. There is a full size washer and dryer as well. We had coffee on the front lanai every morning which has a beautiful view of the ocean and the front garden that is home to 8 or 9 gecko's that came out to sun themselves as we relaxed. We wanted to get out for a bike ride on the two bikes provided but ran out of time.

We spent 2 weeks at the Villa by the Sea, and it was perfect! The house had everything we needed. Close to town, beaches, stores. The house was so nice it was hard to go home. We will be back soon and hope Villa by the Sea is our home when we are on the Big Island. Mahalo Shannon and Neil for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

We just returned this week from 5 days at the Kona Villa by the Sea home. It was wonderful! The house is in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful community. The house itself is immaculate, beautifully decorated and comfortable for our family of 6. The Cormmie's have thought of some very special perks that made a big difference for us. The providing of boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and bikes allowed us to travel lightly, but enjoy many things to a higher degree in Kona. Their list of things to do and restaurants and shops to access were also very helpful. Lastly, the price for the home was far cheaper than other comparables in Kona. In short the house provided the perfect get away place for our larger family to have an incredible time of rest and relaxation. We would be very inclined to stay their again. Thank you Shannon and Neil for making your home a place of rest and restoration for our family. A. Michel

What a lovely house! We were in Kona for the Ironman, and really felt at home here. The big hill to the house was the only drawback, but wouldnt be an issue if you have a car

We enjoyed a wonderful time in the Kona area thanks in part to the clean, nice, and well supported house we rented. The house had two comfy bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, and even toys for the beach. The patio and gardens in back are nice, but we loved the front porch where we watched the beautiful sunsets. This house is about a mile from town which worked well for us. With such a great house we were able to focus on our trips around the island to enjoy. Everything on offer. We would highly recommend staying here.
