The condo was great. It was immaculate. It was stocked with pretty much everything we could have wanted, and had a beautiful big lanai. The overall property and grounds were very well kept. There is a beautiful pool area with barbecues and lounge chairs available. This is the first condo we've stayed in and we were so pleased with it.
We chose this condo mainly because of its location within Kona and its location in the condo development. We weren't disappointed. We've been to Kona before but stayed in hotels, and loved the town. When given the choice between staying in a big resort out of town or staying in the town, we always choose Kona. There are lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. Kona has great small beaches, some within walking distance from the condo and some you can either take the town shuttle or drive to.
We love Magic Sands Beach for boogie boarding and body surfing, and Kahalu'u Beach for swimming, watching green sea turtles and snorkelling, and both for just relaxing.
The only negatives to the condo would be the lack of a closet for hanging clothes in the master bedroom and a safe for keeping valuables in. Although there is a closet in the master bedroom, it was locked.
We loved our vacation time there!
