Great 2 BR, 2 BA house directly fronting the ocean (no beach) with unobstructed views and great deck for lounging, BBQs and watching sunsets. Beautifully furnished and super clean. 2nd BR has some street noise due to proximity to Alii Drive, so kept fan running all nite to block it. Both BRs have view of ocean and waves lull you to sleep. Would happily return.

this property was great for my husband and me - great ocean views and great location in kona. nice modern furniture and bathrooms, great lanai. huge positives outweigh the minor negatives. if you were to try and use the second bedroom, beware that it is not totally isolated from the common area (both in sound and light). also, there is a lot of road noise, which can be overcome by closing the windows. as it is a tropical place, ants and cockroaches sometimes visit. just need to keep the place spotless. the kitchen sink plumbing sprung a leak we could not stop while we were away for the day (looks like it's not the first time). management company called within an hour or two to remedy the situation. yes, that was fairly inconvenient since we could not shower, but decent response time given it was a holiday weekend. again, the positive aspects far outweigh the negative!

This was our first stay in the Ocean Playground house, but our sixth stay in Ali'i Drive vacation rental homes. The large private lot and open design of the house made us feel we had our own piece of old Hawaii. The house is well maintained and everything worked. Perfect for a couple or a family with kids. The folks at Prince Properties made us feel welcome and at home. We'll be back.

Beautiful spot...loved watching the sunset off the lanai.
Really disappointed there was no table & chairs on the lanai for outdoor meals.
The 2nd bathroom is kinda grubby.
The kitchen was excellent.
The noise from traffic on Alii Drive caused sleep disruption in the 2nd bedroom. -

We had such a great time here that after a couple of weeks we started thinking it was our home. There is only one thing that we would fix. The gate really should be an automatic gate. Alii is a busy street and having to open the gate, run back to your car, park it on the curb and then run back to shut the gate while cars whizzed by was a pain. But that ws really the only complaint. Great place.
