Bothell, WA, United StatesWould not stay again at Unit 183
Left on 05/02/2013 for a stay in April 2013
We were disappointed and our impression of the condo is that very little maintenance or upgrades are done. Condo is worn, dated, neglected. We made the best of our stay but would not stay here again. Temperature – it was uncomfortably hot and difficult to cool down the condo. “Lanai” is concrete. Condo receives direct western exposure sunlight. Curtains are inadequate (low cost single panels) or missing. Curtain panels did not close or move easily on the oversize curtain rods. It was hot inside the condo from noon until after midnight, so difficult to sleep. We tried the air conditioner one day but it made the problem worse; AC unit is poorly located near ground level so hot air output superheats the “lanai” rises to upstairs bedroom; AC unit missing seal/weather stripping; cool air escapes out “Florida Type” windows; fins on back of AC unit are bent and need repairing; AC unit is too small for condo.
• Writen Instructions needed inside condo; location of key needed for pool access and Check-out instructions.
• Broken windows cranks so middle bedroom windows don’t open.
• Various patched unpainted drywall.
• The internet connection was not set up properly bc fax machine (?!) was plugged into network jack disabling both internet and phone; we had to purchase our own network cable.
• The condo was dirty; top of the fridge is filthy, sticky dirty; Dust bunnies/dirt on the floor; downstairs closet jumbled mess crammed full of items including empty sunscreen bottles, broken plastic camera case, etc.
• Various remotes do not work or were missing.
• Light fixtures and fans are old and rusty.
• Living room furniture is uncomfortable, cushions are extremely dirty, need to be cleaned
We didn’t contact mgt about these problems bc these things should be checked and/or fixed prior to tenant arriving and shows owner/mgt company don’t monitor on a regular basis between each rental and don’t care about condition when tenants arrive. -
New Westminster, BC, CanadaOur Kona Getaway!
Left on 03/06/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We and two other friends enjoyed a two-week stay at the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club. We snorkeled, went sightseeing, travelled the island and swam the ocean; mostly, though, we enjoyed our ocean spot, loved evenings on the lanaii watching the sunset, swam and sunbathed in the pool every day and played tennis for the first time in years! All-in-all, a terrific experience and we will DEFINITELY return!

Victoria, BC, CanadaAbsolutly Fantastic!!!
Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in January 2013
This condo has everything! The ocean is just steps away and the kitchen is fully equipped - complete with some ketchup and soya sauce in the fridge. It is well appointed but not fussy. There are 4 full sets of snorkel gear, tennis rackets and boogy boards. The pool and tennis courts are both just outside the door.
And the snorkel beach is a 5 min walk away!!
It does not get much better than this. A perfect place to spend you Kona Vacation.

Bellingham, WA, United StatesMixed feelings
Left on 11/27/2012 for a stay in November 2012
The unit we stayed in did not have a guest book, so we didn't know how to hook up to the internet, what we were expected to do as far as clean up at end of week, where to find pool key, etc. Well stocked kitchen and had beach chairs, mats, cooler for beach and mats. Not enough basics like bar soap, kitchen wrap, napkins. Had to purchase many of those things. Good view of ocean. Place was not very clean - twin bed had sand and pills under covers, guest room smelled like dirty ocean toys - very sour odor. Hard to get response from rental agency after hours. Never responded to two email inquiries I sent.

Healdsburg, CA, United StatesBreathtaking Sunsets and Nature at your doorstep
Left on 02/02/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Sat on our lounge chairs each morning with coffee and watched the flying fish, dolphins and whales go by...quick walk to the tide pools (on property) or short drive to one of the best snorkling beaches on Allii Drive - pickup fruit at farmers market or fruit stand and back to sit and enjoy the sunset with a favorite cocktail. Best Sleep...pounding surf. Inside furnishings...not so comfortable; needs updating (couches aren't designed to be cozy).

Left on 01/01/2012 for a stay in December 2011
The location of this condo was perfect! The porch is ocean front and you can snorkel right there by carefully climbing down the lava. Clean, sleeps 4-5, well stocked kitchen, comfortable space. Great location for daily excursions to some of the island's best snorkeling and beaches.

The town house was perfect for us - great location, wonderful ocean front view, lovely pool. Lots of amenities, just needs beach chairs to make for perfection.

I have been staying with West Hawaii property for years now and this unit is one of my favorites. The owner definately takes care of the unit. Post card views of the sunset at night, every night! A great value...will be back for sure!

Well-equipped condo, with everything you could need including a coffee grinder. The only thing missing was a couple of beach chairs. Nice ocean view, comfy lanai furniture.
