The range is densely forested an an important reserve for both kauri trees and wildlife which offers Fern Ridge guests a secluded wilderness retreat and break from the intensity of the urban living.
Catering between 2 - 4 guests at any one time, the intimate location is ideal for a special romantic getaway for couples' tramping double dates, or an outdoor adventure with friends.

Fern Ridge is situated in the ideal place to explore other parts of secluded Northland - there is an enormous variety of activities for couples to enjoy.
Ninety Mile beach is about 30-minutes drive and Kaitaia is a quick 20 minute drive away. Additionally, Fern Ridge is a scenic 1 hour drive away from Kerikeri.
You can always stay home at Fern Ridge and experience a short bush walk on the property to a lovely waterfall and listen to the bird-life. Fern Ridge has lots of area for parking.

We had a great time in this piece of peaceful paradise. Very luxuriously appointed throughout, with the best outdoor bath set-up I've ever seen and views North for as far as the eye can see. The hosts are excellent - very friendly and helpful. This is a must visit.

We recently stayed at this beautiful hideaway, surrounded by stunning native bush and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The tranquillity, views and ambience were fabulous, as was relaxing in the outdoor bath in the evening, listening for kiwis, and doing bush walks. Eco-friendly yet luxurious, a wonderful place to stay.
