Takis house is a two bedroom traditional house furnished in traditional Cypriot style. It has a large patio for sitting out in the sun or for dining in the evening. The shared pool is within easy walking distance where you can relax in the sun around the swimming pool.
Be dazzled by the magnificent atmosphere created by these nearly 300 years old stone-built houses with their court yards filled with vines and flowers, restored with the philosophy of preserving their external and internal architecture and decorated with charming Cypriot antiques & artefacts.

Takis house in Kalavasos village is situated half way between Larnaca and Limassol towns along the south coast and is centrally situated allowing easy access to the whole of the Island where major towns such as Larnaca-Lemesos-Lefkosia-Troodos and Paphos can be reached from 20 minutes to 1 hour at the most. The location is ideal for people who want to get away from city life and relax in a village surrounding. Our main office is situated at Tochni village only 5km away where our guests can book rental car, horse riding at our Drapia farm which is situated on the outskirts of Kalavasos village and bike hire with optional guided tours. In the locality you will find taverns, supermarket, chemist and bank within easy reach.

Takis house was great. My husband, daughter and I stayed at #6 and #7. 2 bedrooms, 2 bath and kitchen could fit 5 people comfortably. We stayed for 3 nights. It was quaint and clean and steps away from the village square that was under repair. Around the square are a few restaurants, a beautiful church and great people to chat with. Although we arrived after 8pm, someone met us at the Retro Cafe (around the square) to escort us to the traditional home. We did need the phone to call Cyprus Village management to let them know we were in town and ask what to do next. After the initial contact to bring us to the house and give us the keys, we didn't see anyone from the managing company again.
We rented a car and parking was available in parking lots. Don't leave your car in the parking lot next to the church and school on a school night. Our rental was locked in the parking lot which was used as playground during the school day.
The pool that Takis renters have access too is nice and in a pretty location.
We would stay here again and recommend others to stay here too!

"Takis House" nennen sich in Kalavasos mehrere unterschiedliche, historische Häuser (Ende 19. Jahrhundert erbaut), die aber alle renoviert und komfortabel eingerichtet sind. Wir, zwei befreundete Paare, wohnten 10 Tage in Haus 7 mit 2 Schlafzimmern mit Klimaanlage, einem Badezimmer mit Dusche und Toilette im Parterre und einer gemeinsam genutzten Küche im Obergeschoß, wo sich auch ein zweites Badezimmer (Dusche und Toilette) sowie ein Balkon und ein Zugang zum Innenhof befindet. Unser gemeinsamer "Aufenthaltsraum" um diese Jahreszeit war allerdings der schöne Eingangsbereich, eine große, teils überdachte Terrasse mit zwei großen schmiedeeisernen Toren zur kleinen Straße hin (kein Durchgangsverkehr). Ein gemeinsamer Pool ist ebenfalls vorhanden, ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg.

It's a traditional house completely re-furnished in a very good condition. Pets are welcome there. It was a pleasant weekend for us and our friends. We rented a two bedroom house and every room has its own privacy and bathroom, so it was perfect for two couples with a small child and a dog. It’s a perfect place.

The service was prefessional, friendly and efficent.
The Takis houses are very individual, you have to know, which one you like. It is not a uniformed holiday facility but with character, taste and very convenient. Our family loved comming home from the beach, journeys to Limassol or elsewhere. You can walk through your village, see people sitting in front of there houses or in the café one get to know each other if one likes that. Everybody is very friendly but respect if you like your privacy. In the houses you find everything you need. You can cook, be inside if needed, you have the possibility to sit either in the patio or on a balcony. It is not too loud but life is going on in the village. If you need absolut silence it is not the right place. We loved it and prefer the way of holidays. If you like to feel the culture in which you spent your holidays, if you like a more individual approach and not the holiday inn's you are at the right place. We now go for the third time with our two boys and we love everything there. In the evenings they even can go to the local football ground and play with the local kids.
The weather during October is just right. It was always lovely and very warm but not boiling. We could prolong our summer in a perfect way.
