We stayed at the Victoria apartment in late august. The service we received from Debbie at Olive Tree Travel was excellent, organising the accommodation and the airport transfer through the local aBI travel and also a stay at a nearby Hotel on our final day as we waited to travel back to the airport.
The apartment provided everything our family ( two sons of 13 and 11) could want. Two large bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower and a comfortable lounge area. All fully air conditioned. There is also a balcony with room to eat with excellent views over the town and the sea. The pool is shared by only three apartments and it often felt it was ours alone as the other guests were seldom there.
The apartment is ideally positioned, with the Old Town only five minutes down the road, albeit a very steep road! Kalkan has enough bars and Restaraunts to keep you happy for a long time. We ate out every night for a week and never had a bad meal. The Seaport Restaraunt on the Harbour was especially good.
Although we spent most of our time at the pool, the beach in the town was pleasant, if a little crowded at the times we went. The Beach Clubs which are accessible via boats from the Harbour are excellent, offering diving boards and trampolines in the sea along with Food and Bar facilities and sun beds and parasols.
We have never visited Turkey, but we will definitely return to Kalkan. We did not feel ripped off for food and drink that you sometimes do when abroad with prices comparable with the UK or cheaper if you get off the beaten track.
Overall the Victoria apartment offered everything we wanted for a week in the Sun. Ideally we would like to visit when it is a bit cooler (35 + degrees plus every day we were there) but this is not so much of a problem when lying by the pool with a chilled drink!
We would thoroughly recommend the Victoria apartment and Olive Tree Travel if visiting Kalkan.

Been to Kalkan numerous times and it is always lovely, we normally stay further up the mountain but this time we decided to try closer to the town and why haven't we done this before. Victoria apartment is so convenient for Kalkan centre with just a two minute walk away and a manageable walk home at night. The apartment was cosy and comfortable with a lovely balcony and pool.We will be back.

Only two months ago I hadn't even heard of Kalkan but was recommended by a work colleague to take a look. When I checked it out on websites I was really surprised at what I was looking at and booked flights straightaway. Next was the accomodation...lots of websites etc. but Olive Tree really caught my eye and the booking process was very straightforward and Debbie very helpful.
Anyway, we are just back and have spent two great weeks in Kalkan. The place was even better than I expected and the apartment was superb. There is always a worry that people staying in the apartments above and below might be too noisy etc. but fortunatley all was fine. The apartment itself was superbly equipped and located and I am certainly fitter for the last 50 metres of the walk up.
Definitely going to have a return trip and if anyone else is going for the first time, try Iso's Terrace just around the corner from Victoria apartment...great food etc. and Iso is a great bloke!
